Endee studied her appearance in the mirror. She was wearing lingerie attire, with black strappy bra, high-waisted shorts with attachable garter at the bottom – it was an outfit Endee would never chose to wear. Endee was so lost in her reflection that she didn’t realize her older sister, Delta coming into the frame of the mirror in a smilar outfit.
“Penny for your thoughts.” Delta said with a laugh.
Endee returned back to reality, giving her sister a half smile. Both of them were in a dressing room preparing for a photoshoot, most likely to promote their returns to the wrestling ring.
“I feel weird wearing this.” Endee mused.
“I know you’re more comfortable in an oversized shirt, but Endee girl, you need to show the world you can be sexy.”
“But, I’m not sexy.” Endee frowned at her appearance.
Delta grabbed on to both of Endee’s shoulders. “Being Sexy is about confidence and independence. I’m not trying to get you to turn on the opposite sex or anything.”
“I don’t know.” Endee muttered to herself.
The very thought of being considered a sex symbol was a foreign concept for Endee.
“Look you have beautiful boobs.” Delta reached out and squeezed Endee’s chest.
Endee instantly pushed Delta’s hands away and covered her chest with a squeal. “What are you doing?”
Delta giggled at Endee’s innocence. “Sorry, but I had to.”
“I’m only agreeing to do this photoshoot because you told me this would be a way to showcase ourselves as a tag team which I find it hard to believe.”
“Hey, wrestling is only half the package.” Delta piqued up “You need charisma and the profile to be successful in this business.”
“Yeah, I guess so.” Endee sighed, understanding where her sister was coming from.
“Also, we still haven’t come up with a tag team name. I was thinking about, The Delights.”
Endee snorted. “Delights?”
Delta arched her eyebrow. “Do you have anything better than that?”
“No, no… I thought it would’ve been something more creative.”
“It is creative!” Delta appealed. “Del and Lights, it’s my first name and your last name merged together.”
Delta could see how unconvinced Endee but she didn’t care. In her mind, being the older sister, whatever she said would go.
“Well, have you seen the tag team tournament brackets?” Endee changed the subject, knowing that Delta wasn’t going to change her mind about their name.
“Of course.” Delta shrugged her shoulders. “On the upcoming Primetime we are facing The Misfits.”
“ Apparently they are sisters too.”
Delta chuckled to herself. “And I don’t think they’ve seen an Endee Leights match because seemingly it’s your first match ever.”
“So, they would assume I’m some sort of rookie?” Endee raised her eyebrows in surprise.
“Everyone has their own assumptions to talk up how good they are. I mean, I could say how those two look like trashy sluts with ugly tattoos, but would that really say how good we are?”
“Appearances are subjective though.” Endee knew that for a fact when people commented on her outrageous pink hair.
“Or, I could mention that I’ve been a tag team champion, not once but twice.”
Ten years ago, Delta won the tag team titles with her best friend Stephanie Styles and then a few years later with Kristen. Delta definitely knows what its like to be a tag team champion.
“You know, we both won our women’s championships in a ladder match”
Delta paused for a moment to ponder that thought. “Wow, that’s pretty awesome. Now that’s another reason why I picked you as my tag team partner.”
The door of their dressing room opened with the assistant photographer entering the room.
“Hey ladies, we are ready for you.” The young woman with black hair smiled at the two sisters.
Endee gulped remembering that she had to carry through this photoshoot. Delta rested her hand on Endee’s shoulder to reassure her.
“It’s only a photoshoot, I promise we’ll mean business in that ring and become the GZWA tag team champions.”
Endee took a deep breath to psych herself up for the shoot. As much as Endee was yearning to get back into the ring, she needed to gain some confidence and this photoshoot would be something to get herself out of her shell.
“Let’s do this thing.”
With that, Endee and Delta followed the woman into the photoshoot area.
