A Sense of Wonder... [Livewire]

The Queen of Queens of tournament was underway and Delta was able to score her first win against another Lady D - Ashleigh Cash. Delta was jubilant that she won her first singles match since becoming a singles competitor after the unfortunate end of the Ladies of Doom. She couldn’t be more excited to hear that she was booked for both Livewire and Primetime. On Livewire she is scheduled to face the self-proclaimed “Wonder Girl” Ashley Wonder. She was the new girl around here, scoring a few big wins, even getting the pin on Laura Jackson on the previous Primetime.

In her mind, Delta didn’t want to let her guard down, especially being a veteran wrestler like herself. Many assumed that the veterans should pave for the young ones in the business and give them the “rub”. Instead, Delta believed that it wasn’t quite the time yet, especially with this Ashley Wonder girl.

Delta sat in front of a GZWA camera to begin her promo about the upcoming match on Livewire. Her short blonde hair was straightened, wearing a black long sleeve top with the top button only done, with a medium chain necklace with a blue pendant hanging around her neck. With her chin up, shoulders back and a smile upon her face, Delta begun to speak.

Delta Madison: “It’s always great to have a sense of wonder, always curious and questioning everything around you… It builds character.”

Delta pursed her red lips together and snickered to herself before continuing on.

Delta Madison: “On Livewire I’m up against Wonder Girl in one on one competition. I’m not here to buy into the hype of this so called “Wonder Girl” who calls herself Ashley Wonder. I do have to admit, she has been on a roll since she debuted, like getting wins over such big names in GZWA. On the last Primetime The Wonder Girl pinned Laura Jackson, one half of the tag team champions. She is the hot new thing around and you fans would love to see me lay down to her and be the next so called victim. I just don’t think I’m ready to go down that easily.”

Delta winked into the camera, knowingly people would take her words out of context and used against her but she didn’t care.

Delta Madison: “Say what you want to say. This whole I’m a good girl, all innocent act is a bit, you know…passe? We are always supposed to cheer for the beautiful goody-to-shoes, all-american girly girl. Yawn. It’s so boring and uninspiring.”

Delta faked a yawn, and rolled her eyes, not even worried about what the fans would think about her new attitude. Delta changing her demure, leaning forward with unblinking focused eye contact.

Delta Madison: “Why should I start giving free passes to the fresh faces? I’m not going to sit here and be overlooked anymore, I’m sick and tired of this. Come Livewire, I think it’s finally time for a new Delta Madison to come out. I’m going to prove that I am the real deal, that I am the real thing around here in GZWA and I should be the key player in the Queen of Queens tournament.”

Delta ment business with her last statement with more focus and determination than ever before. Delta leaned back into the chair and cocked her eyebrow and smirked into the camera as her segment ended.
