Official GZWA LiveWire Theme: In Stereo By Fort Minor
Livewire 7-8-16
Venue: Neal S. Blaisdell Arena
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Damien Carter and Jimmy Powell are shown at the commentary table to welcome the GZWA Nation for tonight’s broadcast.
Damien Carter: “I’m Damien Carter… no relation to THE Carter over on Primetime. I actually have a girlfriend.
Jimmy Powell: (Laughs) “And I’m Jimmy Powell. Careful there, buddy, or the folks at home will want to see Carter versus Carter at a future GZWA live event.
Damien Carter: “Fair enough, but let’s focus on the positives here. We’re here in beautiful Hawaii for tonight’s broadcast.

“Queen of Submission” Casey Cortez vs. “Modern Day Warrior” Gabriel Wingue
Powell: Casey’s been making fun of Gabe’s string of losses for a while now and on Primetime, Gabe had enough and threw down the gauntlet, challenging one half of the undefeated GZWA Tag Team Champions in one on one competition.
Carter: “The members of the Straight-Edge Saviors haven’t been known for their great decision making. Don’t forget that their leader, CM Punk, was the one to ignite this rivalry with the GZWA Chairman roughly two years ago that led to the creation of the Machine in the first place. Ever since then, SES hasn’t seem to be able to catch a break. From the inner conflict between Suicide and Gabriel Wingue to CM Punk’s mysterious assault, it’s like a powder keg waiting to go off being associated with them.“
Powell: “Does anyone know the update on Punk’s condition?”
Carter: “Blake Harper would be the one to ask about that, but she’s been MIA for a statement as of late. The attack on Punk has hit her hard emotionally. They were rather close.”
The match starts off with the Modern Day Warrior extending a hand out towards the Queen of Submission out of respect, but Casey looks at the gesture and slaps his hand away. Gabe shook his head and locked up with GZWA’s resident amazon in a test of strength. Casey easily overpowered Gabe and sent him flying across the ring. Gabe kips back up, only to be floored again with a powerful Clothesline from the Queen of Submission. Casey grabbed him by the legs and spun Gabe around the ring with a Big Swing, making 8 revolutions around the ring before throwing him into the corner. Casey charges the corner with a Running Face Wash but the Modern Day Warrior commando rolls out of harm’s way before impact. Gabe dropkicks the Queen of Submission into the corner, causing her skull to bounce off the top turnbuckle and rolls her up into a School Boy pin.

Powell: Talk about an upset! Gabriel Wingue managed to defeat Casey Cortez tonight!
Carter: Upset? That’s describing Casey Cortez right now as she’s taking out her frustration on the official of this match!
Powell: I wouldn’t want to be poor Slick Johnson after that call.
The cameras show Casey trapping a helpless Referee Slick Johnson into the Agony Matrix (Butterfly Lock). Security and several other officials slide into the ring in an attempt to force her to break the hold, but the Queen of Submission does comply in her own manner as she tosses him overhead with a Butterfly Suplex into the all of the officials as Livewire takes a commercial break.

“Tattooed Beauty” Laura Jackson vs. “The Goddess” Amanda Cortez – Special Guest Commentary: “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze
Powell: Out of the kettle and into the fire, we’re back with another match involving one half of the undefeated GZWA Tag Team Champions as the MisFits’ “Tattooed Beauty” Laura Jackson takes on her bitter rival, “The Goddess” Amanda Cortez. Dude, have you SEEN Amanda’s photos on Twitter? She’s smokin’…
Carter: And she’s not bad on the eyes either. (Whistles) I’m just not crazy about a woman who puts it all out there like that, but hey, I’m not going to knock her for being confident to flaunt what she’s got. As for tonight’s match, this isn’t going to be a catfight, this is going to be a straight up brawl.
Powell: Laura knows Amanda better than anyone in and out of the ring. That fact alone should make her Amanda’s most dangerous adversary. If that wasn’t enough, the man that cost the Goddess her spot in the Stardom Tag Team Classic, Tyler Breeze, is joining us on commentary for this match.
For this broadcast, Prince Pretty has his personal section of the commentary area reserved and roped off – a VIP section if you may. The sign outside of it states, “NO UGGOS ALLOWED!!”
Amanda Cortez stares daggers at Breeze before turning her attention back towards Laura Jackson across from her in the ring. At the sound of the opening bell, the Tattooed Beauty tackles the Goddess to the mat with a Double Leg Takedown. Amanda and Laura exchange bare knuckle strikes until Amanda headbutts Laura to stun her long enough to shove her off of her body. The Tattooed Beauty staggers to her feet but Amanda is right there to latch onto her back with a Sleeper Hold.
Powell: “The technical prowess of the Goddess coming to play here. That’s a lesser known aspect of Amanda’s offensive arsenal that she does have training in mixed martial arts.”
Carter: “I’m sure that’s not a surprise to the Tattooed Beauty after having been part of her entourage for sometime before their falling out.”
Breeze: “Who cares? I’m sure that’s some sort of sick foreplay for those two uggos.”
Laura drops down on all fours and crawls towards the ropes but she falls short of the ropes as the hold takes its toll on her. The referee looks for signs of the Tattooed Beauty succumbing to the hold but she sprung back to life just in time to put a firm grasp onto the nearby ropes within her arm’s reach to force a rope break. Amanda backs off momentarily but only to rebound from the ropes and to attack the Tattooed Beauty from behind with a dropkick into the ropes with a Front Dropkick. The Tattooed Beauty whiplashes from the ropes and right into Amanda’s pending Jumping Double Knee Backbreaker.
Carter: “Ouch… I guess that’s cheaper than calling a chiropractor.”
Breeze: “Hmmph. Funny you say that. Everything about an uggo like Amanda screams cheap.”
With Laura grounded again, Amanda tries to apply a Sharpshooter but Laura kicks her away to free herself. Amanda reels back into the corner, where Laura struck her repeatedly with a series of repeated Shoulder Thrusts. The Tattooed Beauty then positions herself on the second rope as she punches the forehead of the Goddess repeatedly. Before she reaches the count of 10 of this impromptu 10 Punch, Amanda rakes Laura over the eyes and drops her onto the turnbuckle behind her with a Snake Eyes. With the Tattooed Beauty stunned, Amanda capitalized with a Inverted Hurracanrana to smash Laura’s skull to the mat with a sickening thud. Amanda covers Laura but the Tattooed Beauty kicks out just shy of the 3 count.
Powell: “So close there. Amanda looks like she’s got this in the bag.”
Breeze: “Last time I checked sexually transmitted diseases don’t come in a bag, Jimmy boy.”
Amanda beckons the Tattooed Beauty to her feet and charges in for the kill. Prince Pretty is taking a selfie on the ring apron and manages to time the flash of his camera phone just as the Goddess was going for the Fade to Black (The Gore). This causes Amanda to be blinded temporarily, but gave the Tattooed Beauty more than enough time to greet Amanda with a kick to the gut. She follows up with a Tampa Driver (Cradle Driver) and promptly covers Amanda up into a pin.

Carter: “Why do I have a feeling that those two planned that out against the Goddess?”
Powell: “Remember the Machine were the ones who booked the match so you know that there was something fishy about this match from the get-go, so I wouldn’t be surprised at foul play.”
Backstage, the Mega Busters are in their dressing room as Psycho Sagus paces back and forth.
Matthew Miles: “Dude, quit doing that. You’re making ME nervous and my girlfriend isn’t even mad at me!”
Ashleigh stuck her tongue out, “Give it time. I’m sure I can think of something or you’ll slip up somewhere Matt…”
Kevin (Sagus) shook his head, “You guys don’t know what I’ve been going through. I’ve been afraid to even think about another woman in my life other than Ashley. I didn’t even think about my MOM for crying out loud!”
Ashleigh smiles, “Why thank you. That’s nice of you – for once.”
Kevin snaps, “Not you Strawberry Shortcake. MY Ashley. I’m trying to wait until this whole Maryse thing blows over sooner more than later.”
Matt pats him on the back, “Well you two are in the main event facing Maryse and her protégé Samuel Chatman. I hear he’s not a bad guy, but it wouldn’t hurt to watch your back out there. Maryse doesn’t play nice. It’s nut up or shut up time…”
Ashleigh giggles, “Nut up? Hasn’t he done enough of that to get him into this mess with his girlfriend?”
Matt smacks his own forehead, “Sorry, poor choice of words. But you get what I’m driving at, right?”
Kevin nods slowly but his focus immediately turns towards the door as Ashley Wonder enters the dressing room, dropping her back on the floor without saying a word. Ashleigh grabs Matt by the arm and drags him back down onto the bench beside her. She whispers, “This should be good.” Kevin spun around and greets Ashley with a bouquet of flowers. Ashley looks at the gift quizzically in silence. She leans towards the flowers and took a deep breath to take in their aroma. She smiles brightly towards Kevin and plants a long kiss on his lips after wrapping her arms around his neck. Kevin looks towards Ashleigh and Matt and mouths the words, “GET OUT” in their general direction. Matt took Ashleigh by the hand and led her out of the room while Ashleigh stuck her tongue out at Kevin from behind Ashley’s back. Watching them leave, Kevin gives Ashleigh and Matt two thumbs up as they left out of the locker room.
***Lumberjack Match ***
“The Statement” Victor Phillips vs. “Psycho Menace” Ry Drake
Lumberjacks: GZWA World Heavyweight Champion “Hardcore Monster” Carnage (w/ Veda Scott), The Enforcers (G-Money Briggs & Dequan Wallace), Matthew Miles (w/ Ashleigh Cash), “The Icon” Sting, “Straight-Edge Juggalo” Ryan Kendrick
Powell: “This match is going to be utter chaos given what happened at the end of the last Primetime event.”
Carter: “I’m sure that’s why the lumberjacks are legal to get involved at ringside. GZWA Management foresaw that outcome and made the Machine and the Rage Against the Machine involvement legal.”
Powell: “Rage Against the Machine? Hey, I’m supposed to be the one making the heavy metal references here. I’ll forgive you this time.”
Carter: “Thanks but I’m more afraid of what these terrifying forces at play at ringside are going to do out here than experiencing your wrath.”
Powell: “You got a good mind to be, especially after the utter destruction we saw at the end of last Primetime’s main event. Then they had the steel cage separating everyone from each other. Here it’s all out in the open!”
There weren’t any pleasantries or respect exchanged at the start of this match as the Psycho Menace started things off with a Lou Thesz Press to the Statement. Victor threw Drake aside with a Release Belly to Belly. Victor sprung back to his feet and went straight for a Running Jumping Elbow Drop, aimed directly at Drake’s heart. Ry Drake rolled out of harm’s way, allowing Vic to impact into the mat. With the Statement grounded, Ry Drake applies a Labell Lock. Vic rolls around the ring until his legs hung out of the ring to force a rope break. Vic’s Machine brothers pulled him out of the ring for a breather but Ry Drake wasn’t having any of that as he vaults out of the ring with a Diving Cross Body into all of the members of the Machine at ringside while Veda Scott scurries away to safety. Sting, Ryan Kendrick, and Matthew Miles applaud Ry Drake’s efforts but remind the Psycho Menace to get back into the ring as the referee is halfway through the ring out count. They roll Vic into the ring behind him to make a pin. Vic kicks out after the count of 2 to continue this match. Vic rolls through back to feet and drops Drake back to the mat with a Powerbomb, but Drake fights back with several fists to the face. This allows Drake to send them both over the top rope with a makeshift Hurracanrana that lands them both on the ring apron. Both Superstars trade blows until Vic ducks underneath a wild haymaker from the Psycho Menace and Release German Suplexes Drake into Sting, Kendrick and Miles at ringside.
Powell: “Ha, those boys are one for one there on crazy stunts out here.”
Carter: “Uh oh, the Machine are getting involved as well.”
Powell: “That’s to be expected with this lumberjack match.”
The Enforcers hit the waking Ry Drake with the Lose-Lose Situation (Sweet & Sour). Carnage orders them to back away as he hoisted the Psycho Menace onto his shoulders and threw him against the ring apron with the Buckle Bomb (Running Release Powerbomb). Just as Dequan Wallace charged in with the Bullet (Da Pounce), he’s tripped up by a well-timed low dropkick from Matthew Miles that sends the Enforcer crashing into the steel steps. Before G-Money Briggs could realize what was going on, he’s hit with a High Impact Spear from Ryan Kendrick that whiplashes his spine against the ringside barricade. Carnage is struck from behind by the Stinger armed with his trademark baseball bat. The Hardcore Monster doubles over, allowing Sting to drop him to the unforgiving floor with a Scorpion Death Drop. Back in the ring, Vic has dragged a battle-worn Ry Drake back into the ring and into position for the Tiger Driver to end this match. Ry Drake acts out of desperation and Low Blows the Statement with a statement of his own of what he thinks of Mr. Phillips. The referee has no choice but to disqualify the Psycho Menace and award Victor Phillips as the winner of this match.
Unfortunately for the Statement, he’s unable to accept that victory as he was down on his knees, holding his groin in pain. The Psycho Menace made his own victory antics as he hit the ropes and suicide dives into everyone still waging war at ringside. Carnage is the only one who managed to escape this fate and unleashes his wrath onto the Psycho Menace. Jimmy Powell and Damien Carter move out of the way as Ry Drake’s body comes crashing through the commentary table via a Gutwrench Powerbomb from the Hardcore Monster. With all of the bodies of GZWA Superstars and Vixens laid out at ringside, Ry Drake is shown to be smiling among the debris as Livewire takes a commercial break.
Sensational Mary comments on the Lady So Divine’s departure and what it means for the 2016 Reina de Reinas Dos Tournament
Livewire returns from commercial break with Mary standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand.
“I was on vacation here in the beautiful Hawaii, trying to get a tan but not epic failing at that like Alice Shadow was… until I found out that reigning Vixen Champion and the woman that had the prestigious honor of being the first woman to hold MY coveted Queen of Queens Championship that I gifted to the women of GZWA… has decided to vacate both titles as she’s stepping away on a sabbatical from professional wrestling. There’s nothing wrong with that. We all get burnt out from this business from time to time. I’m not around as much as I was in my younger days, but I can contest that one thing has never changed about me. Even though Xion and I haven’t seen eye to eye over these many, many years, but we can both agree that we both love and respect women’s wrestling. Any woman who is brave enough to step between these ropes and compete as active competitor on this roster is a queen – la reina. You don’t need a crown to acknowledge that simple fact… even though there are women more deserving than others of a crown to highlight their magnificence.
That’s why I’m here tonight. I’m not allowing my tournament to be cancelled just because one woman wants to take her ball and go home nor because some lackluster excuse that there’s not women who are willing to put forth the effort mentally and physically to acquire this title. The Vixen Championship may be without a champion but there are women willing and able to continue the fight.
I’m asking you the people of MY Nation, the GZWA Nation to jump on social media and show your support of the women of this industry and get the hashtag #GZWAReinas2016 trending. Do that and I will make Reina de Reinas Dos a reality – even if I have to takeover an entire episode of Primetime or Livewire to showcase the best our women’s division – or any women’s division for that matter – has to offer within my tournament.
I won’t stand back and allow women’s wrestling – more importantly the hard work that the women of this company bring to the table each and every time that they step into this ring – to become an afterthought. And if there’s a redheaded cunt on social media who has a problem with me or ANYONE who represents this division and MY Nation, then speak up, Missy. Just letting you know that Mary’s far from retired and I don’t need a sabbatical to clear my head to figure out what I’m going to do to anyone I step into this ring with.”
*** Main Event: Intergender Tag Team Match ***
“Crown Prince” Samuel Chatman (return) & “Sexiest of the Sexy” Maryse Ouellet vs. Psycho Sagus & “Wonder Girl” Ashley Wonder
Carter: “I’m sure if the other Carter’s watching this match he would be at home dying to see it just for Maryse and Ashley. Or talk about how good those pictorials were of Maryse…”
Powell: “I’d hate to be Psycho Sagus in this match. Not only he has to worry about not pissing off his girlfriend, but he has to keep his eyes off of Maryse for he can stay in good graces with his girlfriend. Then there’s poor Samuel Chatman who’s making his return to the company in the middle of a love triangle like this.”
Carter: “Love triangle? More like Maryse is causing trouble in paradise more like it, even though Sagus wouldn’t even be in this mess if Veda Scott didn’t expose his dirty little secret in the first place in the Mega Busters’ match against the Enforcers.”
The match starts off with Ashley Wonder and Maryse Ouellet in-ring first. Ashley Wonder kisses Sagus for luck only to turn around to see that Maryse is blowing a kiss of her own for the lone Mega Buster. Sam could be seen on the turnbuckle shaking his head, wondering what in the world did he get himself into here tonight. Ashley Wonder instantly becomes enraged as she tackles Maryse to the mat. Ashley smashes Maryse head to the mat repeatedly until the referee forces her to ease up before she chokes the life out of the Sexiest of the Sexy. Maryse catches her breath quickly, shoving the referee aside to Spear Ashley to the mat and hammer her with punches to face. Maryse stomps on Ashley’s spine before kicking her in the ribs. Maryse motions for a Rolling Camel Clutch, but Ashley was ready to counter with an Inverted Neck Snap Neckbreaker. Maryse reeled back from the blow and the Wonder Girl was quick to follow up with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Ashley follows up with a Standing Shooting Star Press but Maryse rolls out of the way and tags out to the Crown Prince.
Given the intergender rules of this match, both women are forced to exit the ring while the men take over from here. Sam and Sagus share a fist bump out of respect to start things off as a complete 180 from how things started between the Sexiest of the Sexy and the Wonder Girl. From there Sam arm drags Sagus to the mat and into a shoulder lock. A kick to the face frees the lone Mega Buster and he sprung up with a Hurracanrana. The Crown Prince counters with a Powerbomb into a kneeling pin but Sagus reverses into a Sunset Flip. The Crown Prince kicks out after a 2 count. Sagus took to the skies with a Diving Splash from the top rope only for Sam to catch him out of the air with the Purple Madness (F-Five). Sagus counters with a Tornado DDT to surprise the Crown Prince. He follows up with a Running Flip Senton only for the Crown Prince to move out of harm’s way. Sam greets Sagus with a Backbreaker STO combination until he’s momentarily distracted by Maryse’s coaching on the ring apron. Sam mouths the words, “I got this…” before turning back into a Pele Kick from Psycho Sagus from out from nowhere.
Just as Psycho Sagus aimed to finish the Crown Prince off with a Konami Code (Dudley Dog), Maryse stood face to face with the lone Mega Buster. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him just like the Wonder Girl did earlier tonight. Naturally, Ashley Wonder was seeing red at this point and came charging straight for the French-Canadian beauty. Maryse saw her coming and sidestepped her incoming attack and capitalized with the French TKO. With the Wonder Girl taken out of commission, Sagus stood dumbstruck as Dequan Wallace came out from nowhere and hit Sagus with the full force of The Bullet (Da Pounce). With Sagus laid out, Maryse directs traffic after she conveniently kept the referee distracted until Dequan exits the ring. A reluctant Crown Prince makes the cover while the referee made the count.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!!!
Powell: “There you have it. I don’t like how that transpired but the Crown Prince and Sexiest of the Sexy have picked up the win here in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii tonight.”
Carter: “Wait a second, I don’t think we’re done here yet. Here comes more trouble…”
G-Money Briggs and Victor Phillips come down the entrance ramp carrying two tables while Dequan Wallace is pulling out another from underneath the ring. Matthew Miles and Ashleigh Cash race down the entrance ramp to help to the delight of live crowd. Veda Scott evades the incoming Ashleigh, allowing Dequan to hit her with another Bullet while Miles is quickly overpowered by G-Money Briggs, who hip tosses him into the steel steps. The Machine is making an example of these annoyances tonight as they set up two tables at ringside. Ashley Wonder and Ashleigh Cash are rolled onto them and another two are stacked up on top of them while the Enforcers roll the Mega Busters back into the ring. Samuel Chatman tries to argue that this is too much, but he is forced to merely watch while Maryse and Victor Phillips are enjoying every moment of this. G-Money Briggs and Dequan Wallace deliver the exclamation point by hoisting Miles and Sagus onto their shoulders and throwing them out of the ring and over the top rope into the four tables stacked up at ringside with a pair of Release Powerbombs (Border Toss).
The GZWA Nation is left with the image of these poor young men and women scattered among the debris of the broken tables as tonight’s Livewire comes to a close with the members of the Machine beaming with pride over their handiwork.
