Singles Match
"The Queen of Submission" Casey Cortez vs. "The Hardcore Monster" Carnage (w/ Morrigan Aensland)
Prof. X: Welcome to our first broadcast of 2018 GZWA fans. We’re going to get right into the actin tonight with our first contest between two forces of nature as Carnage goes one on one against Casey Cortez.
The Carter: Explain to me how is this fair? Shouldn’t Casey be fighting with the rest of the women for the Women’s Championship?
Francine: Please, Carter. Casey is more than a threat for most of the men AND women in this company. I firmly believe that this is GZWA Management’s way of leveling the playing field while simultaneously keeping the biggest threats to the obtaining the World Championship at Riot Control.
Prof. X: It’s definitely something, that’s for sure.
The match starts off with Casey raising her hand above her head eagerly as she invites Carnage in for a test of strength. Carnage looks back to Morrigan at ringside briefly who nods in approval to encourage him to accept her invitation. The two mega powers lock horns in this test of strength with this encounter looking like a stalemate. That was until it became well aware that despite the fact that Casey was holding her own, Carnage was slowly moving her towards the corner. With her back against the turnbuckle behind her with nowhere to go, Carnage threw her against the buckle with a Two Handed Choke. Carnage backed up and threw himself into the corner with a Big Splash before he dragged Casey out of the corner by her dirty blonde hair into a Buckle Bomb. Casey punched his forehead ferociously to power out of the maneuver to free herself and land on top of the Hardcore Monster to take control of the momentum here. Carnage found himself in the defensive position as Casey assaults him with a barrage of mounted punches before she transitioned into an Armbar. Carnage hammers away at her limbs trying to free himself but it’s no avail as Casey wasn’t giving up the ghost here. Carnage manages to power through the pain, returning to his feet with Casey in tow as she continues to maintain her death grip on this hold. Carnage drops her to the mat with a Sitout Powerbomb to break the hold by force as he took control of this match once more by pinning Casey to the mat upon impact.
ONE…
TWO…
NO!!!
Francine: Get comfortable, boys. Looks like this one isn’t going to be a cakewalk for neither one of these individuals.
Casey rolls back to her feet and connects with Running Big Boot to floor Carnage flat on his back. The Hardcore Monster sat up from the canvas (Undertaker/Kane style), only to receive kick to the back of the head to cause him to faceplant back into the canvas. Casey wasn’t done with Carnage by a long shot. She brought him back to his feet in side headlock, only to hold him at bay while she assaults him with knee lifts to the midsection. Carnage responds by charging her back into the corner and forces her to release grip. Carnage returns to the corner to use his massive frame as a lethal weapon to crash into the Queen of Submission with a Big Splash. Carnage then Irish whips Casey into the adjacent corner. Casey performs a reversal whip to send the Hardcore Monster into the corner instead. Carnage scales up the corner post and turns around to connect with a Flying Clothesline to the incoming Casey to stop her right in her tracks. Carnage issues out more pain in the form of the Stretch Muffler. The Queen of Submission doesn’t remain in the hold for long as she kicks Carnage in the head repeatedly to free herself. With the Hardcore Monster reeling, she opted to lock in the Agony Matrix (Butterfly Suplex), but Carnage sent her overhead with a Belly to Belly Suplex reversal.
Prof. X: What is it going to take for these two powerhouses to put each other down? They always seem to have an answer to each other’s offense!
Francine: Uh oh, here comes trouble...
The Enforcers’ music hits as they walk down to the ring. G-Money Briggs and Dequan Wallace point towards Carnage standing in the ring, looking to antagonize the Hardcore Monster. This provides the opening that the Queen of Submission took to her advantage. We see this transpire as Casey forces Carnage to bow to the queen - literally - with a Low Blow from behind and rolls him up with a School Boy from behind.
ONE…

THREE!!!
While she is glad to win, but anyone could read Casey’s face and see that she wasn’t pleased with this strategy but a win is a win. She pushes past the Enforcers after the match and heads backstage as Primetime took a commercial break.
We are backstage where Vinnie is talking to Adrianne Taylor for an interview.
Adrianne: Vinnie, so far you have been in a few matches and haven’t lost any of them. How do you feel about your run so far??
Vinnie nods his head and thinks about the question that Adrianne asked him for a few moments before answering her.
Vinnie: Well first of all, it is Senor Vinnie. And secondly? Yes I am very happy with how things are going as of late. You see Adrianne, I have been unbeaten in 2017 and 2018. In my book I have been the most successful wrestler in years!!
Adrianne: But you have only wrestled two matches??
Vinnie: That may be the case in your own little world that is called your perspective, but there is at least nobody that can make these claims now can they??
Adrianne: But…
Vinnie: Answer the question Adrianne!!
She sighs and rolls her eyes, not wanting to get into this argument with him.
Adrianne: I guess you must be right Vin… err Senor Vinnie.
Vinnie is happy, happy for her admitting to his confession that he has made
Vinnie: And tonight I will put this unbeaten streak on the line against a well very talented man. Someone that will put me in my fifteen minutes of fame statement that Andy Warhol once used to benefit his own career. And I just wonder who actually listens to people that get drunk or high all the time? Are they truly that artistic??
Adrianne: Well Andy Warhol did sell a lot of art you know??
Vinnie: That’s beside the point, it’s how he thinks a dead was not has been once said in a moment of being bored or something. This kid that I have lost his name about is really delusional. I’ve already main evented more minutes than he has ever had someone tell him that he is right. But that will all come to an abrupt end. As the artist that is known as Senor Vinnie will take him to school, school of hard knocks and Mariachi loving. But that last is only reserved for my Mami’s. Talking abou which, when do you get off Adrianne??
Vinnie winks at her as she looks at him shockingly
Vinnie: But don’t you worry my pretty, you will get my invite in the mail. Just like I want to invite the boss to finally accept the greatest talent known to man!! I’m unbeaten in two years now, 2017 and 2018 are the years of the Mariachi. I am the man that should be representing the company and hold the same belt that the Goddess once held. I just hope that the boss has the Cojones and the smarts to put me in the main event for that belt. And if you need me to convince you some more? Why don’t you put me in another match with Casey and have me embarrass her some more Perro. I bet she already has been begging to make her forget all about her Papi no??
With that Vinnie looks at the camera grinning for a few moments before walking off, leaving Adrianne Taylor standing there on her own.
Singles Match
Jayson Heagerty vs. Senor Vinnie
Prof. X: This is going to be an interesting clash here.
Francine: Oh definitely. One guy who is obsessed with Amanda Cortez while the other completely detests everything about her. Seems like a common theme going around GZWA and the wrestling world as a hold.
The Carter: I’ll never stop worshipping our Goddess.
Francine: Uh-huh. You keep doing that and I’ll keep my disinfectant spray on me at all times.
At the sound of the opening bell, Jayson Heagerty started things off by charging straight for Senor Vinnie with a Lou Thesz Press. Vinnie responds with a thunderous Spinebuster to counter and transitions into a Single Leg Boston Crab. Jayson wasn’t trapped for long as he was close enough to the ropes to force break. Vinnie wasn’t going to give up the ghost as he charges straight back towards Jayson as he leans on the ropes to recuperate. Vinnie’s hastiness proves to be a mistake as Jayson tosses him over the top rope with a Military Press. After Senor Vinnie crashes at ringside, Jayson launched himself from the ropes outside of the ring to connect with a Diving 450 to Vinnie as he was attempting to return to a vertical base. Jayson stomps a mudhole into the grounded Vinnie as he belittles the Superstar by calling him a “sick freak” among other derogatory terms in Spanish.
The Carter: What did he say?
Prof. X: I won’t dare repeat that, I’m trying to maintain our PG rating on this broadcast.
Francine: PG? Like hell it is.
Jayson drags Vinnie to his feet in preparation for a Tornado DDT on the unforgiving ringside floor, but Vinnie showed signs of life by ramming Jayson into the ring apron. The air escapes Jayson’s lungs upon impact, in which allowed Vinnie to capitalize with a DDT to the ringside floor instead. Vinnie left his adversary on the floor as he rolled back into the ring. As a result, the referee had no choice but to start the ring out count.

Jayson rolled back underneath the bottom rope after the count of seven, only to find himself trapped within Vinnie’s Sitting Reverse Chinlock with his knee firmly planted into Jayson’s spine.
Prof. X: Out of the frying pan and back into the fire! Seems like Jayson Heagerty can’t catch a break here.
Francine: Don’t count him out yet. Jayson talks a big game, but he’s been backing it up in every challenge thrown his way - win, lose, or draw.
Vinnie suddenly found himself overpowered by Jayson as he flips Vinnie over across the ring. Vinnie sprung back up towards the incoming Jayson with a lunging Clothesline, but Heagerty evades with ease and performs an Inverted Backbreaker. Heagerty adds to Vinnie’s whiplash to the spine by Irish whipping him into the nearby corner. Vinnie slumps down to the bottom buckle, allowing Heagerty to follow up with a Running Facewash. Vinnie stumbled out of the corner upon impact, but Heagerty was quick to give him a helping hand back to his feet with another Irish whip into the ropes. Heagerty then caught Vinnie on the rebound with an Orton Powerslam. With Vinnie floored, Heagerty went for the kill in the form of the Silencer (Starship Pain). Just when it looked like Jayson Heagerty had this match won, Senor Vinnie put his knees up to defend himself. As Heagerty reeled from agony, Vinnie was able to capitalize on this situation with the Papi Bomb (Powerbomb). After Heagerty’s back hit the canvas, Vinnie wasted no time in applying the Rings of Mariachi (Rings of Saturn). Heagerty made a valiant attempt to reach the ropes. He inches his body closer and closer towards the ropes with nirvana mere centimeters away… That is until Vinnie rolls him over and away from the ropes, leaving Heagerty back in the center of the ring. The Superstar has no choice but to submit and award Senor Vinnie the victory here tonight via submission to avoid possible injury.
“Soon it will be time for my re-debut...if that’s even a word…”
Enters our ears as we catch a sight of Zabrina. She is currently only in a pink bra and matching thong, which is getting loud wolf whistles from those in attendance as she is applying some ruby red lipstick to her pouting lips while looking directly at a large mirror in the public women's locker room.
“Well if it is then my redebut will mark the grandest of starts for the epic that’ll be me taking over GZWA.”
After finishing the application of her lipstick the milky skinned woman turns around to face us.
“So, Sarah, will you able to handle the grandeur that’ll start The Grand Zabrina’s 2018?”
After asking her question the Englishwoman walks past us, most likely to start putting on the rest of her outfit as the scene fade to black.
Singles Match
"The Blonde Bombshell" Sarah Richardson (return) vs. The Grand Zabrina (return)
Prof. X: Up next, we have a return match for both of these ladies as we are set to continue their rivalry that started back in late 2017.
The Carter: I never get tired of seeing that booty… err beautiful smile of Zabrina’s around here.
Francine: Nice save there, horndog. I heard she recently divorced from Desmond Masters too so she’s on the market again - not that she would even acknowledge that you would exist like any other woman with a fully functioning brain.
The Carter: If I may add, I… err I mean, we need to see more of the Blonde Bombshell too. Reina de Reinas Tres got postponed into the New Year and I hope the event brings in another new wave of fresh female talent like the previous tournament.
Zabby opens this match with Running Enzuigiri. Sarah ducks underneath the kick in response and connects with a Bridging German Suplex to instantly pin her shoulders to the mat.

The woman who is now referring to herself as The Grand Zabrina maneuvered out of the pin attempt with her own unique offense. She merely rolled up and sat on Sarah’s chest to counter.
ONE…

WAIT!!!
Sarah freed herself out of this uncompromising position with a Tiger Suplex after rolling back to her feet with Zabrina in tow. The Blonde Bombshell followed up with a Standing Shooting Star Press. Zabby instantly defends herself with her knees up to counter. Zabrina sprung back to her feet, hits the ropes, and returns with a Running Sunset Flip pin on the rebound.
ONE…
TWO…
NO!!!
Sarah dropkicks her in the face to reverse their positions and applies a Boston Crab. Zabrina crawls towards the ropes with determination, only for Sarah to release the hold prematurely just as Zabrina was about to reach the ropes. The Blonde Bombshell’s strategy was revealed as she threw Zabby back across the ring with a Wheelbarrow Suplex. Zabby lands close to the corner, allowing Sarah to follow up with a Double Stomp to Zabby’s chest into Jericho cocky pin (Titty Buster).
ONE…
TWO…
THR---NO!!!
The Blonde Bombshell wasn’t disappointed in this turn of events as she was still firmly in control of the momentum in this match. She dragged Zabrina back to her feet in position for the Wipe Out (Overhead Uranage). The Grand Zabrina snapped back to life and hammered Sarah Richardson’s head with elbows to the side of the head. This assault allowed Zabrina to follow up with a Mat Slam to floor Sarah and give Zabrina a momentary breather. Zabrina then connects with Zab Attack (Running Hip Attack) to the waking Sarah Richardson. The Blonde Bombshell was down but she wasn’t out as she was still struggling back to her feet after the last attack. Zabrina hits the ropes once more and went for Zabby Shock (Wheelbarrow Bulldog) for the kill but Sarah counters with Atomic Drop reversal.
The Carter: I’m know that Zabrina has a lot of cushioning back there to make that a softer landing but that is still not a fun move to take regardless...
Francine adds sarcastically, “The hell you say? I can’t think of any other joy in life than falling on your ass and potentially breaking your tailbone.”
The Blonde Bombshell locked in the Credit Check (Full Nelson Camel Clutch) to grasp victory. Zabrina wasn’t willing to allow Sarah Richardson to keep her grounded as she fought back in the form of an Inverted Jawbreaker. With the Blonde Bombshell stunned, Zabrina spun her around and hits the Lancaster Grandeur (Double Underhook Facebuster/Pedigree). Zabrina laid across Sarah’s body in a pin of her own after rolling her over as the referee made the count.

The Carter: Woo-Hoo!! Zabby got the win! I was pulling for both ladies but I wanted her to win the most.
Francine: Yeah, I bet you were "pulling" at something in anticipation of this match...
Tag Team Match
"The Mountain" Rex Terrell & "The Wraith" Ry Drake vs.The Mega Busters (Matthew Miles & Psycho Sagus)
Francine: I would love to know who the Mega Busters collectively pissed off on GZWA Management to have not one but two of these insane odds stacked against them.
Prof. X: The better question would be are they willing and able to rise to these challenges? That’s going to be the question of the night. I’m sure that both of these teams would like to start the new year on a good note.
The Carter: For the Mega Busters, they don’t want to kick off the New Year with all three of them sharing a hospital room…
Francine: Could be worse… they could be occupying the same room in the hospital morgue if they somehow survive the matches that GZWA Management has set up for them.
The Carter: Good point, Franny. If they somehow survive this ordeal, poor Ashleigh Cash to face Godknowswhatever that thing was that attacked her on our last broadcast later tonight.
Francine: Ashleigh ASKED for that match. So whatever happens she dug her own grave for that one.
There’s an impromptu start to this match as the Mega Busters attempt to get the upper hand on Rex Terrell coming down to the ring by connecting with two simultaneous Suicide Dives to knock Rex off balance. Ashleigh Cash applauds their efforts while Skylar Stryker looks on in horror. Ry Drake stomps Psycho Sagus while he’s down, but Matthew Miles dropkicks him from behind, causing Drake to smash head-first into the nearby barricade. With the Mountain showing signs of life as he stirred from the bottom of the entrance ramp, the Mega Busters turned their attention towards Rex Terrell after Miles helped Sagus to his feet. The duo raced across the barricades before throwing themselves towards the waking Rex (Jeff Hardy style), but they found themselves caught out of the air with a Double Chokeslam. Ashleigh gasps in shock while Skylar applauds the Mountain’s monstrous offense. Rex dragged their bodies in front of the ring apron, where the Mega Busters crawled on all fours, looking to return to a vertical base and escape any further physical punishment. That salvation was denied from them as the Wraith reintroduced himself to the Mega Busters with an apron dive variation of the Assassination (Jumping Curb Stomp) on both members of the Mega Busters at the same time.
Prof. X: Good grief. This match is looking like it’s over before it even began.
Francine: The Mega Busters might as well chuck this up as another loss to start off the New Year.
Rex Terrell rolls both of them into the ring to start match off properly.
The Carter: Look at ‘em. He’s rolling ‘em like cornwood.
Francine: Yeah, straight to get roasted to finish this slaughter.
Rex stands up Psycho Sagus while Matthew Miles staggers to his feet for the pending Greatest Damn Elbow (Phenomenal Forearm) as Ry Drake stood on the ring apron. To the Wraith’s surprise, Psycho Sagus ducks the Mountain Pass (Samoan Spike) while Matthew Miles simultaneously ducks underneath the incoming Drake, causing the Wraith and the Mountain to floor each other with their respective maneuvers.
Prof. X: Well, that’s one way to level a mountain and take out a wraith…
Francine: No way in hell that was part of the Mega Busters’ alleged plan for tonight.
The Carter: I can believe it. Those were some pretty intricate diagrams…
Francine: For the love of Christ, it was a hand-drawn map of the world map from The Legend of Zelda!
The Carter: I didn’t say it was original!
Prof. X: Whatever it was, it surely got the job done here. Let’s see if they can capitalize on this massive opportunity.
The Mega Busters raced to the top rope and connect with a 450 Splash and Koopa Killer (Diving Foot Stomp) to the grounded Wraith and the Mountain. The duo pins them both as Ashleigh Cash pounded on the ring apron to count along with the referee.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!!!
Skylar Stryker could merely facepalm at this series of events.
Francine: Looks like lightning really has struck twice. The Mega Busters have two high profile victories on their resumes. They are starting the New Year off the right way.
Prof. X: That’s for sure. I definitely didn’t have them pegged to topple the former World Champion!
The Carter: Anything is possible in GZWA, folks - even the small chance that Franny will start being nice to me!
Francine: Let’s not start stretching the imagination there, Carter.
* Brooklyn waited in silent torture in her private office on the upper levels of the building. She had wanted to get herself together before she found Z and Tiana. To be honest at this point her mind was racing a mile a minute. Jumping for happiness to pure panic. She twisted both of tiny her hands together because she had all this pint up nervous energy. She took a deep breath before her mind settled on the fact that there was a part of her; that was extremely excited. Brooklyn was 9 weeks pregnant, she slowly placed her hands on her stomach in a protective fashion. She knew that the show was going on at this very moment but she really wanted to talk to Z before he saw the promo of Lilly Evol and it ruined the surprise. That is not the way she wanted to start this conversation. Brooklyn had been so deep in her own world that she hadn't noticed that her personal assistant Shea was calling her. She turned around to and answered in an off-handed tone. *
Da Glam Queen
"Yes, Shea?"
Shea Ricard
"Ms. Glamorous your daughter Tiana is here."
Da Glam Queen
"Oh great let her in."
Shea Ricard
"Okay, I'll show her in."
* Brooklyn shook her head and giggled. Shea was new and she hoped that she worked out because Brooklyn was going to need the extra help in the next few months. She took a deep breath and turned around to welcome Tiana her 12-year-old daughter and her heart. Brooklyn loved Tiana so much but over the past year that hasn't really seen eye to eye. With Brooklyn traveling for work so much they hadn't had much time together. Still, Brooklyn was trying really hard to fix their torn relationship. *
Da Glam Queen
"Tiana I'm happy to see you. I'm just waiting for your father. I wanted both of you here so that I can tell you together."
* Tiana Jones walked into her mother's office and frown at her. She shook her head at her because of the fact that she was so pleased with herself. Tiana wanted so badly to get back their relationship that they once had but Tiana was just so bitter. Right now she couldn't see that happen anytime soon. Tiana folded her arms over her stomach and looked down at her feet for a moment. Shea left the room leaving the mother and daughter together. *
"Mom I have to ask you something and I don't want you to try and reason yourself out of this. I want a straight answer. "
*Brooklyn was worried. Tiana seemed really pissed off and for the life of her, Brooklyn couldn't understand why? *
Da Glam Queen
"Sure baby I will answer your question no matter what it is."
* Tiana nodded her head in agreement. She took a deep breath because she wasn't sure how to ask but she wanted to get it out of before she lost her courage. *
"I just saw Lilly Evol Promo...Are you pregnant? "
* Brooklyn didn't know what to say. She just stared at her young daughter and just saw the plain hurt on her sweet face. Brooklyn nodded her head because the words were stuck in her throat. It was no secret that Tiana was born out of wedlock when Brooklyn had been 18. Her and Z had been stupid kids and when the broke up Brooklyn had raised Tiana alone. Looking back she knew that she had made a huge mistake but she didn't want to do that again. Now she was doing right with her life and bringing them all together. Then in Feb they really would be a family when Z married her. *
"Mom I can't believe you! I mean come on....do you want to make this whole fake family because you lost yours? What about me and Dad? Don't you care about anyone but yourself? I do not want to be in the same room with you right now! You know what...I don't even want to be in the same house at you. I'm going to stay with Celty from now on. So you can have your fake new life with your new baby..!"
* The words hit home and Brooklyn felt the tears stinging in her eyes. She would never do something like that. She couldn't believe that Tiana thought her so heartless. She tried to reason with her but Tiana had turned and rushed out of her office. Leaving Brooklyn to watch her. She couldn't go after her because Shea had come back and stopped her. Lilly's match was coming up and they needed her ringside. This isn't how she wanted this to go....what was she going to do now? *
Da Glam Queen
"What have I done..."
* Tiana with tears in her eyes went upstairs to the skyboxes to hide. Her heart was so full and heavy...that she just stare out the window. Not really seeing anything she just thought about how much her young life had changed. One minute she was meeting her father the next she was fighting cancer...now this. She was the child of a Da Glam Queen but she felt more like a pawn in a huge game of chess.*
Fatal 4 Way Match
"Tattooed Beauty" Laura Jackson vs. Talia Areano vs. Lily Evol (w/ "The Glam Star" Brooklyn Glamorous) vs. "The Silver Screen Queen" Crystal Hilton
Prof. X: We have an interesting match here for these four women to start the New Year off for them. Laura Jackson and Lily Evol are no strangers to each other, since they have been at odds for the last stretch of 2017 while Crystal Hilton and Talia Areano were former rivals competing for the Women’s Championship in 2017 but found mutual respect for each other as they competed in the Stardom Tag Team Classic. Our reigning tag champs eliminated them in the first round, but despite the setback, Crystal and Talia have expressed interest in continuing to work together as a team.
Francine: I wonder how that’s going to work out in this match. Then on top of that, no one knows what Brooklyn Glamorous is going to do from ringside to turn the tide for her protege.
The Carter: I don’t care what she does, I’m just enjoying the view!
Francine: Keep your eyeballs in their sockets or Xion will have you out here fighting Carnage with your hands tied behind your back in the middle of a minefield for oogling his fiancee.
The Carter: In that case, I’ll just wear this blindfold while she’s out here blessing us with her presence. I’m clearly not worthy…
Francine: You’re worthy of getting kicked in the balls… that’s for sure. Seriously though, she shouldn’t even be out here to say that she’s pregnant.
Prof. X: I agree with you there. It’s easy to become a target and fall into the line of fire, even though most of time it’s the Glam Star who is looking to do the shooting.
The match starts off with Talia and Crystal immediately charging towards Lily Evol with a Double Clothesline, only to be floored by the explosive force from this female powerhouse as she hits them with a Double Clothesline of her own. Lily charges straight towards the Tattooed Beauty who hits her with the Splitting Headcase (Jumping Double Knees to the head) to stop Lily in her tracks. Lily was stunned from the blow but doesn’t fall down. Laura continues her offense by applying the Nighty-Night (Head & Body Scissors combination).
Prof. X: Looks like the Tattooed Beauty is looking to win this match right out of the gate!
Francine: This would definitely be an upset for sure if she pulls this off. She’s already coming into the New Year strong by being the only woman on the roster thus far who has managed to defeat Lily in singles competition.
Lily’s not out of this yet as she hasn’t dropped to her knees from the hold. She charges straight for the corner, smashing the Tattooed Beauty against the corner post as she performed Corner Splash. Laura inadvertently released the hold and slumped down to the bottom buckle. Lily follows up with a Running Cannonball Senton. Just when one would think that would be enough, Lily removes Laura out of the corner with a Sitout Powerbomb and pins her shoulders to the mat upon impact.

The Silver Screen Queen broken the pin with a Running Front Dropkick that left Lily flat on her spine, which allows Talia Areano to follow up with a Standing Moonsault into a pin of her own after hooking Lily’s legs upon impact.

Crystal Hilton drags Talia’s body off of Lily to get the pin herself.
ONE…
TW---NO!!!
Lily powers out throwing Crystal off her body and into the waking Talia. The duo bicker momentarily over the exchange, but get back on the same page as they have a common enemy in Lily Evol. Crystal charges in with what looks like a reckless manner, but her strategy is revealed as she strikes underneath Lily’s pending Spinning Backfist to intercept her with a Low Dropkick to cause Lily to drop down on one knee. Talia struck next fast and hard with a Tornado DDT, spiking Lily’s face onto the canvas. Talia and Crystal’s tandem combination wasn’t done yet as Crystal launched herself back into the ring from the ring apron with a Springboard Hurracanrana while Talia positioned herself on the top rope. Lily intercepted the Silver Screen Queen out of the air by catching Crystal onto her shoulders and throwing her into the turnbuckle to force Talia to collapse on top of the top buckle from the impact. With both women trapped in the corner, Lily shook off the cobwebs and performed a Samoan Drop with both Crystal Hilton and Talia Areano on her shoulders.
The GZWA Nation erupts into chants of “HOLY SHIT” as Crystal Hilton and Talia Areano wisely rolled underneath the bottom rope to escape the inevitable pin attempt. Lily Evol gave chase only for Talia and Crystal to escape the ring safely, but this allows the Tattooed Beauty to strike from behind with a Dropkick to Lily’s spine, causing her to whiplash into the ropes. Laura caught her on the rebound with a Backbreaker to finally floor Lily Evol to the Glam Star’s dismay. With all of the women down save for the Tattooed Beauty, there wasn’t anyone in Laura Jackson’s way to stop her from getting her hands on Brooklyn Glamorous. Brooklyn knew she couldn’t get physical here, so she looked for means of how she could escape from this situation. That being said her air confidence hasn’t left her face. She wasn’t going to grant Laura the satisfaction of fear. Brooklyn merely shook her head and made a straight line around the ring towards the entrance ramp. Laura Jackson relieved Zoey Valentine of her chair at ringside and immediately cut Brooklyn off at the pass. Brooklyn was out of options, cornered with nowhere to go. The Tattooed Beauty loomed closer to make an example out of the Glam Star for what she has done to her over the past year, but just as she was about to strike, Laura Jackson found herself held at bay by Lily Evol reaching between the ropes to restrain the Tattooed Beauty by her hair. This moment gave Brooklyn the opening that she needed to escape as there were more pressing matters - namely the location of her estranged daughter. It was obvious that her mind wasn’t on this match, but she wouldn’t forget Lily’s noble sacrifice here. Lily sighed in relief that Brooklyn was able to get away, but that was a fatal mistake to take her eyes off of the Tattooed Beauty, who took this opportunity to smash her steel chair over Lily’s face. With Lily’s body hung over the ropes, Laura unleashed her wrath on Lily with a DDT on the ring apron before rolling her back into the ring. The Tattooed Beauty doesn’t stop there as she laid her steel chair over Lily’s face before diving from the top rope with a Diving Guillotine Leg Drop. The Tattooed Beauty impacts successfully with the high-flying offense and hooks Lily’s leg into a pin.

Francine: Laura Jackson definitely has bragging rights now. She's bested Brooklyn's protege twice now.
The Carter: If that's not the right way to kick off the New Year I dunno what is.
Singles Match
Chance Justice vs. "Weapon-23" Ryan Kendrick
Prof X: A returning vet against a new signee, always an interesting thing to see who will come out on top!
The Carter: Chance Justice for sure!! Nobody believes in a clown like Kendrick!!
Francine: It’s a Juggalo, don’t let Kendrick hear you
DING! DING! DING!
The bell has rang and both men stare each other in the eyes, Kendrick wants to get into a collar albow tieup with Chance. But Chance sidesteps at the final moment, pointing at his head as he is to say that he isn’t stupid. Not wanting to get his hands dirty on some face painted freak.
The Carter: Exactly my thoughts Chance!!!
Chance is mocking the crowd as he is screaming that he is better than Kendrick, causing Kendrick to spin him around and punch him in the face. This causes Chance to be cornered in the ropes as Kendrick delivers some kicks to the midsection before delivering a spinning heel kick to the face, this causes Chance to drop in the corner. Kendrick sees an opening and runs to the other corner of the ring before charging back towards his opponent and stops midway the run as we see that Chance has slid underneath the bottom rope to the outside.
Prof X: Smart move, not wanting to endure whatever it was that Kendrick had in mind
The Carter: Of course he is smart!!
Kendrick runs to the other side of the ring, charges back towards Chance as he comes off the ropes and goes for a suicide dive between the middle and top rope. Only to have Chance sidestep him and push him into the barricades, where Kendrick hits the barricades hard with his shoulders. Chance immediately puts the boots to him before sliding in and out of the ring to break the ten count, taking time to talk trash to the fans before grabbing the head of Kendrick and stares at the face painted opponent
Chance: I’m going to wipe the paint off his face, like I’m going to wipe off every opponent in the GZWA!!
Francine: Clearly not someone that is lost for words
He lifts Kendrick up before executing a reverse neckbreaker on the outside of the ring before rolling back in the ring and smiling at the damage that he has executed on the outside of the ring. He rolls out of the ring to whip Kendrick back in the ring and slides in the ring and goes for a cocky cover by placing a foot on the chest of Kendrick.
One!
Two!
Kendrick gets his shoulder up as that irritates Chance who grabs him by the head and lifts him up to his feet before whipping him into the ropes. He sets Kendrick up for a Big Boot, but Kendrick sidesteps and runs to the other side of the ring, jumps off the ropes and connects with a flying forearm that sends Chase into the ropes on the other side of the ring. Kendrick gets to his feet quickly and charges into his opponent and jumps him with a flying clothesline that sends them both over the top rope. Kendrick lands on the apron sitting while Chance lands hard on the concrete padded floor. Kendrick follows it up with getting to his feet on the apron, measuring Chance as he slowly gets back to his feet and jumps Chance with a double ax handle to the face. This causes Chance to fall down on the canvas and holding on to the back of his head in seemingly lots of pain.
The Carter: Come on Chance!!! Get this clown!!
Francine: It’s not a clown!!
The Carter: He has his face painted right?? Then he is a clown.
Kendrick grabs Chance by the head and sets him in a sitting position when he kicks him in the spine before walking away from him. He then turns around and charges in on him to execute a neck snap as he grabs his neck and jumps over him and rolls through. This causes Chance’s head to move forward and then snaps backwards hitting the concrete floor hard.
Prof X: That got to hurt!!
Kendrick rolls in the ring to get a breather as the referee continues the count
Four!!
Five!!
Six!!
Chance slowly moves towards the ring, he gets in the ring at the count of nine, barely breaking the ten count as Kendrick wants to get back into it. but is stopped by the referee, who wants to check on Chance as to whether he can and wants to continue. Chance manages to get to his feet and holds on to the shirt of the referee. Causing the ref to try to break free from the grip that Chance has put him in, but is unable to do so when Kendrick tries to help him to be freed. Just at that moment Chance lets go off the ref and pounds away at the forehead of Kendrick. The referee turns his attention back to the match as his view was temporarily turned the other way due to the melee and didn’t saw the heavy blow. Chance is all over Kendrick, grabbing him by the waist and executes a Belly to Back suplex as that sends Kendrick crashing into the middle of the ring. There Chance quickly climbs the turnbuckles and executes a 450 splash on top of Kendrick and goes for the cover but forgets to hook the legs.
One!
Two!
Thre..
Kendrick manages to do a weak kick out, but it’s enough to stop the three count from happening. Chance is beside himself, grabbing his head with large eyes as he stares at the referee. The ref shows him that it was nothing more than a two count, causing Chance to get upset and getting in the face of the referee and telling him count faster. This gives Kendrick a few seconds to respond as he crawls over towards Chance and grabs him by the tights and rolls him up in a small package.
One!
Two!
Chance kicks out with authority, driving a double ax handle to the head of Kendrick before lifting him up and executes a Neckbreaker. He then tells the ref for the illegal use of his tights, causing the ref to tell him that he didn’t saw it. Chance has enough, telling the crowd that he wants to end this match once and for all. He gets to the corner, measures Kendrick who slowly gets to his hands and knees while shaking off the cobwebs. Kendrick tells the fans that it’s over as he charges in on Kendrick to go for his finisher.
Prof X: Only Need One Chance coming up!!
Chance goes for the curbstomp finishing move, but Kendrick managed to get out of the way at the final moment. Causing Chance to hit nothing but the canvas, after the move he grabs the knee due to the impact of the move and ends on his back. This gives Kendrick the opportunity to get his mind back in the match and grabs the legs of Chance. Locking him in the Scorpion Deathlock as he turns him over on his chest, sitting down deep as the referee starts to ask whether Chance wants to give in to the submission hold. Chance is refusing, while trying to reach for the ropes but he is too far away as he is in the center of the ring. After a moment or two it is Chance that quickly taps out as this causes the ref to call for the bell.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
It’s a bright and sunny (and unseasonably chilly) day in Tampa, Florida when the scene opens up in the parking lot of a Panera Bread cafe. The camera picks up a white Audi A6 pulling into a parking spot just outside the restaurant before two women get out. These two women are of course Zora Graysen and Marisol Francesca Cruz - more commonly known to the wrestling world as simply Mariah.
Zora Graysen: Not going to lie… I’m probably going to get a soup, salad, pasta and sandwich. I’m so freakin’ hungry it’s not funny.
Mariah: Get what you want. It’s my treat. You totally deserve it after going into overdrive with your training lately.
Zora Graysen: I’m trying. I want to be better… I want to win the tourney. And after last year… I don’t want to suffer another embarrassment. Leifi and everyone have been trying to help… but honestly, I find that you’ve helped more. Not to sound sappy ya know cause I have to keep my street cred up.
Mariah chuckled at her ‘street cred’ remark, “I think I’m definitely the wrong person to be asking to gauge anyone’s street cred. Mine has been below zero for a decade now. You didn’t embarrass yourself out there last year. You just set the bar too high for yourself and let yourself down. It happens. Trust and believe me that I know what you’ve been going through in that regard.”
Zora laughed and locked the car as the pair walked inside. Gazing upon the menu boards, Zora could feel her stomach growling.
Zora Graysen: You should totally try the chicken tortellini… it’s got to be my favorite dish here.
When it became their turn to order, that’s exactly what Zora ordered… as well as a bowl of chicken noodle soup.
Zora Graysen: You’re turn Mimi.
Mariah: I’ll have what you’re having. You always have a great sense of taste when it comes to delicious food.
Zora Graysen: I would say that Leilani has the best taste. That girl… she can cook up a storm!
Mariah: From the way she cooks, I don’t see how she stays thin! If I was her husband, I would eat myself into submission. (Laughs)
After the two pay, they found a table and sat down with their drinks as they waited for the buzzer to go off.
Zora Graysen: So do you think that I have a real chance by entering the Reinas tournament? I don’t know what compelled me to enter it… I just wanted to.
Mariah nods, “I would enter myself if I wasn’t technically disqualified from entering since Mary always wants me to help her scout and recruit talent for it. It’s an excellent opportunity to push yourself and test your ability to adapt to a variety of opponents within a short time frame. Facing just the women from GZWA is one thing, but women from all corners of the globe? I envy you getting to take up this opportunity.”
Zora Graysen: Well we all saw how things were working out before I took my leave. That stupid redneck… there was just something about her that rubbed me the wrong way. She gave me the heeby jeebies every single time I encountered her and she always reeked of alcohol.
Mariah grins, “Oh yeah, that one… Yeah she was a character alright. That’s the blessing and curse of tournaments like this with open invitations. You don’t know what kind of characters are going to show up. I wish I got to face her before she went to ‘greener pastures’.”
Zora Graysen: To be honest, I think that if I was in the right frame of mind… she wouldn't have stood a chance against me. So in my eyes… she didn’t beat me… I beat me.
Just then, the buzzer when off and they went off to get their food. When they returned to their table, they continued their conversation as they dug into their respective pastas.
Mariah: Now you’re speaking like a winner. If you allow yourself to defeat yourself before the match even starts, then the battle is lost well before it’s even begun. I’ve been there time and time again, where my anxiety and nerves would try to get the best of me, but I remind myself that I have what it takes to win. You have all the tools, Zora. You just have to use them to the best of your ability.
Zora Graysen: I know… but coming from 3K and all that, I feel like there’s a tremendous amount of pressure upon me to live up to the Maivia name. And what happened with Morgane… it really didn’t help matters. I just hope someday to be a champion and show them all I’m legit. Maybe this tournament is just what I need.
Zora shrugged her shoulders and stabbed a few pieces of pasta before popping them into her mouth.
Mariah: I saw you busting your ass off at 3K. That’s why when 3K first opened the door to sending their graduates to GZWA, I made sure to let them know that I wanted to see you here in GZWA. I know you have a lot of pressure on your shoulders, living up to your family name. You have more pressure on your shoulders than even my own siblings have to live up to. Xion’s trained with the Maivias and even I have briefly. That’s one hell of a legacy to live up to, but don’t let that pressure and the past define you. Zora, you can be whatever you put your heart set towards being. You want to win this tournament? Do it. You want to be a champion? Do it. If you fall and stumble, pick yourself up and keep on fighting. You don’t truly fail until you give up on your dreams entirely.
Zora Graysen: Now that… that is what I needed to hear. So I guess that’s why you’ve been busting my ass in the gym huh?
With a giggle, Zora ate some more.
Mariah shrugs before eating some more of her pasta, “I dunno, maybe I see a lot of myself in you. You may not be one of my students, but you’re a friend and you know I only want the best for you, even if you might think I’m trying to kill you in the gym at times.”
Zora Graysen: Awe… aren’t you so sweet?
They both laugh.
Zora Graysen: So… what’s the post lunch plan?
Mariah joked, “Well...We could go back to the gym…”
Zora Graysen: Or we could go to the mall. I’m pretty sure the semi-annual sale at Victoria’s Secret is still going on.
Mariah nods, “That was my alternative plan. You deserve a shopping break for the afternoon. Besides, you have to show me all of the sweet spots for shopping here in Tampa. That way I can rub it in my friend Dallas’ face when I know more places than her the next time I’m down here to visit.”
Zora Graysen: Now that I can do. You have all of us to tell you all the good places. So even if you haven’t been there… we can feed you names to say that you’ve been there.
Zora winked a bit as she ate some soup.
Zora Graysen: My god this is soooo good.
Mariah: The chicken tortellini that you recommended has been great too. Oh you’re such a devil. You’re going to have Dallas begging me to come back down here to shop with her. That’s all we do when she comes to visit me in NYC.
She took another bite of her chicken tortellini before continuing.
“Are we still onboard for all of us hanging out Super Bowl weekend? I know you would like a great escape from Leifi and the boys and their football. Leilani was the one who tipped me off.”
Zora Graysen: That sounds like an excellent plan. The boys are all heading up there to watch it in person. Loluki apparently was able to grab a private suite.
Mariah: Wow, really? I hope that they have a great time then. Those boys are always going to find time for their football, eh? They have a healthy obsession with that just like us with our shopping.
Zora Graysen: Exactly… now… let’s finish eating so we can raid those bins at Victoria’s Secret.
Singles Match
Justin Lockhart vs. "The Goddess" Amanda Cortez (w/ Rose Cortez)
Prof. X: Up next, we have a sort of a rematch from the Television Championship Special that saw these two competitors face off in one of the two triple threats that named the two individuals who would compete in the grand finals of the tournament to crown the first champion of the revived tenure of the Television Championship. Both would be bested by Chance Justice, who would fall to Equinox in the grand final.
Francine: Justin had a great showing in that match. I honestly had him pegged to win the whole thing, but the triple threat format wasn’t generous to all of those individuals that entered the tournament.
The Carter: With the demand for the TV title to come back, I think Justin and everyone else in that tournament won’t have a problem getting in on that action one way or another.
Prof X: For those who aren't aware of the situation, Amanda Cortez was the former World champion, who volunteered to forfeit the title for her freedom from her employ to the Machine ---
Francine: And failed!!
Prof X: Well she still has to do what the GZWA Chairman says if she wants to avoid going to jail. If that isn't enough, her opponent tonight is Justin Lockhart...
The Carter: Who may have some difficulties with his veteran opponent.
Prof X: And to welcome our guest for today, the man that has a business like deal of sorts Senor Vinnie.
Vinnie: How are you doing guys???
Francine: It’s time for the match to happen schizo so shut up.
Vinnie: How rude!
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Justin circles his smaller opponent Amanda, who he knows is very well adapt in both the wrestling world and the world of MMA. But he has a well rounded submission background as well besides his high flying antics. The two lock arms and the larger and stronger Lockhart immediately gets the upper hand as he locks Amanda in a side headlock, before locking her in a Hammerlock from behind and pulls hard on her arm as we see Rose cheer her on by applauding her. Amanda tries to reach for Justin’s head with her hand, but the referee forces her to let go off the hold that she had on his hair. Only to give her enough time to give Justin a low blow by lifting one of her legs up and backwards. This is out of sight of the referee, who asks Amanda whether she did something illegal. Which she innocently tells him that he must have pulled a muscle or something.
Vinnie: That’s my mami all right!!
Francine: Pulled a muscle? Please, we all know that she does more than “pull muscles”...
Vinnie: Oh yeah, I’ve had to endure that many times when mat wrestling the Goddess. You should be lucky you are not a male
Amanda grabs the head of Justin and starts to hammer down fists to his face, causing the referee to get in between and stop her from the assault on his face as Justin tries to still shake off the effect of the low blow he endured earlier on. Amanda pushes the ref aside and goes for the head again, trying to lock him in a sleeper hold from behind. Justin manages to reach up to her face and delivers a jaw breaker, forcing Amanda to let go off the hold and staggers backwards. Holding on to her mouth, whether to check if she is bleeding or losing any teeth. But thankfully nothing seriously as Justin gets to his feet. He charges in on Amanda and grabs her by the waist before executing a German suplex and goes for the cover.
One!
Two!
Amanda gets a shoulder up on time, Justin puts her in a reverse chinlock with his knee driven into the spine of Amanda. Forcing all of his weight on her back as well as putting pressure on her neck as the referee is checking on Amanda if she wants to give in.
Prof X: Aren’t you worried she will give in to this Vinnie??
Vinnie: Oh hell no, she is tough. She is a Goddess for a reason.
Amanda tries to reach for the ropes and finally manages to do so as they were close enough to it, forcing the referee to break the hold that Justin had on her. He grabs her by the arm and whips her into the ropes before going for a Pele Kick to her face, but Amanda manages to catch the leg and jumps upwards as she wraps her legs around it and this causes them to drop down to the canvas as Amanda has him locked in a heel lock.
Francine: That was a great counter!!
The Carter: I agree!! And we just have to see whether Justin is close enough to reach for the ropes or not!!!
The referee is checking this time with Justin Lockhart, whether he wishes to give up. He has his hands to his face, screaming in agonizing pain before trying to reach for the ropes. But he is too far away from the ring as they are in the center of it all, forcing him to crawl over towards the ropes while Amanda has a death grip across the heel and the leg of Justin. Rose is cheering her on as finally Justin manages to reach for the ropes and to force Amanda to let go off the hold as she is awaiting the five count from the referee
One!
Two!
Three!
Four!
She finally lets go as she walks over towards Justin and grabs him by the head as she wants to deliver another series of hammer fists to the face. But this time Justin grabs her by the waist and pulls her forwards, causing her to land on the outside on the concrete floor. Giving Justin some time to rub some blood flow and feeling back into his painful leg. Amanda is pissed off, feeling she is embarrassed by the “rookie” as she gets back on the ring apron and jumps up the ring rope and comes off the ropes for a splash off the ropes, but hits the canvas as Justin rolled out of he way at the final moment. He then quickly tries to take advantage of the given situation as he himself slowly gets on top of the turnbuckles and jumps off for a splash on top of Amanda.
One!
Two!
Amanda manages to kick out at the count of two, holding on to her ribs as Justin is not giving her any moment to recover. He lifts her up to her feet and sets her up for a Tiger Suplex and drops her hard on her neck before going for the cover once more.
One!
Two!
The three count gets broken up when Rose Cortez could be seen putting her leg on the ropes before alerting the ref that Amanda did it herself. Causing Justin to get to his feet and stare at Rose, telling her to not to interfere in the match what causes her to badmouth him as the referee tries to get in between. This gives Amanda the chance to get to her feet and execute a Russian Leg Sweep as she goes for the cover
One!
Two!
Justin kicks out, causing Amanda immediately grab his head in a guillotine before wrapping her legs around his waist.
Vinnie: Now you got it Amanda!!!
Francine: This match should have been over if it wasn’t for Rose!
Vinnie: What did Rose do??
The ref checks on Justin, whether he wishes to give up but suddenly Amanda can be seen laughing hysterically as her grip suddenly loosens. The camera saw that Justin was tickling her sides and that caused her to let go off the hold. This infuriates Rose as she gets to the ring apron and distracts the referee.
Once freed from the hold, Justin gets in Rose's face as Amanda stalks him in preparation for the Fade to Black (The Gore). She charges in just as Justin turned around. Justin leapfrogs over the Goddess' body, causing her to collide into Rose instead to knock her off the ring apron and down to the floor. Justin rolls up Amanda with a School Boy during the confusion.

Singles Match
“The Beast of Blood” Vanessa (in-ring debut;
Prof. X: After being assaulted by this fearsome beast of a woman on our last broadcast, Ashleigh Cash requested to GZWA Management that she wanted payback.
Francine: Payback? She might have signed her own death wish. Who knows what that thing is capable of.
The Carter: Well it’s definitely not going to ballet out there.
Prof. X: Our Women's Champion Susie Price hasn't been seen in the arena tonight. It's rather odd that she wouldn't be present to this match that she arranged.
Francine: Maybe that Price family business meeting held her up? Girl does have a multi-million dollar corporation to uphold when she's not wrestling.
Ashleigh opens with a Running Clothesline that completely floors Vanessa upon impact. Ashleigh turns her attention back towards Vanessa on the mat, who sprung up from the canvas like something straight out of an exorcism. Ashleigh is taken back at this sight as she backs away with caution. Vanessa sprung back to her feet and charged right for Ashleigh, ramming her spine into the turnbuckle. Vanessa positions her up onto the top rope in anticipation for a pending Death Valley Driver, but Ashleigh kicks her in the face to get some distance before diving down with a Forearm Smash. Vanessa stood unfazed by the blow and responded with BANG (Strong Forearm Smash) that floors Ashleigh upon impact. Ashleigh crawls away on all fours, attempting to distance herself from the Beast of Blood. Unfortunately for Ashleigh, Vanessa likes to play with her food before devouring it. Ashleigh found herself being dragged back towards the center of the ring as Vanessa tugged at her limbs before trapping her within a Surfboard Stomp. From that position, Vanessa trapped Ashleigh’s limp body within a Crossface as Susie Price pounded on the mat, urging the official to make the call that Ashleigh’s unable to continue.
The referee raised Ashleigh’s arm once, only for it to fall limp to the mat as the cameras cut to backstage where Matthew Miles and Psycho Sagus look worried as they watch the monitor. The referee raised Ashleigh’s arm again to the same effect.
Prof. X: If she doesn’t answer this time, Vanessa will be named the victor here and this match would be over.
Francine: That would definitely be right up the Mad Queen’s alley.
The Carter covers his eyes, “I can’t look! The suspense is killing me!”
The referee raises Ashleigh’s arm once more and releases it with it limply falling down out of the air, only to stop mere centimeters away from the canvas as Ashleigh hasn’t given up the ghost yet. Ashleigh claws away, trying to reach something but she’s too far away for a rope break. She claws at Vanessa’s face who merely laughs off her futile efforts. Ashleigh leans back and headbutts Vanessa over the bridge of her nose, giving her the opening that she needed to turn the tide. Ashley turned over Vanessa with her formerly trapped arm and locked in a Heel Hook. Ashleigh vises Vanessa’s ankle as she transitions into an Ankle Lock. Vanessa crawls towards the ropes, but Ashleigh drags her back towards the center of the ring. Vanessa then rolls her hips and kicks Ashleigh in the face repeatedly until she was forced to release the hold. Vanessa limps back to her feet before hitting the ropes and knocking Ashleigh off the feet with an high impact Spear. Vanessa wanted more… She wanted Ashleigh to suffer more for her transgressions here. Ashleigh found herself dragged back to her feet by her blonde hair before she was hit with a Canadian Destroyer from Vanessa. Vanessa pins Ashleigh here.
ONE…
TWO…
THR---WAIT?
Vanessa raised Ashleigh’s head off the mat and connects with a BANG (Stiff Forearm Smash). Ashleigh drops to the mat upon impact, but staggers back to her feet in defiance. Vanessa floors her again with another BANG, followed by another and another as Vanessa continued to lift Ashleigh back to her feet by her hair.
Prof. X: Someone needs to stop this. Isn’t this enough?
Francine: Not according to Vanessa.
The Carter: Definitely can’t go to Weenie Hut General to get those boo-boos treated…
Francine: Never pegged you to be a SpongeBob fan there, Carter. Then again, you and Patrick Star share the same amount of brain cells…
Vanessa floors Ashleigh with yet another BANG before kicking her limp body over. Vanessa’s intentions were made clear as she sat on top of Ashleigh’s body before securing her onto her shoulders in position for the Nuke (Air Raid Crash). She drops Ashleigh seemingly head/neck first into the canvas, but in a bizarre turn of events, Vanessa is flipped over mid-execution into a Sunset Flip pin.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!!!
Vanessa kicks out immediately following the count of three, looking at the referee with pure hate and disgust in her eyes. The exhausted and battle weary Ashleigh Cash is dragged out of the ring by the Mega Busters promptly before they could experience Vanessa’s wrath.
So it was safe to say that Brooklyn was having a off night. Basically everything was falling apart in her hands. She just seriously wanted to cry right now. All of her carefully planning was crumbling in her pretty little hands but she held her emotions in check. Brooklyn had to keep it together but it was hard because of her hormones in this present state.
She had to do some damage control with Lilly Evol after that blunder of a match. If that wasn’t enough she still needed to her missing daughter. As if her feet were on fire Brooklyn ran into Xion's office. She even wondered if he was there. His own agenda at the moment weighted heavily on his mind.
Xion was ordering security to tighten up their efforts around the arena for the next few matches since the upcoming double main events for the Stardom Tag classic would be closing out tonight's show. He looks up from his paperwork as his soon-to-be wife walks in distressed.
"What's wrong, honey? Where's that confidence that you never leave from home without?"
The moment that Brooklyn’s dark brown eyes laid on Xion, her tough shell cracked. Brooklyn rushed over to him and threw her arms around his neck. The pain that had been growing inside of her calm a fraction. Taking a deep breath Brooklyn looked up at him. "Xion...I can not find Tiana. She is so mad at me..." A few fat tears came rolling down her smooth cheeks.
Xion hugged her close to his body to comfort her distress. "Start at the beginning tell me what happened."
Brooklyn wiped at her eyes with her glamorous fingertips. trying to remain calm she explained what happened earlier. How Tiana had walked into her office after seeing the promo from Lily, before she had chance to explain. Soon Brooklyn glanced up at Xion and sighed in worry. "What should I...I mean what should we do? I'm scared. There are a lot of dangerous superstars backstage."
Xion looked down at her and replied, “She can’t get far. Plus I’ve always told the backstage crew and staff to keep an eye on her when she accompanies us to work. We have many enemies - now more than ever. That’s why I have always taken the precautions to protect our family at all costs.”
She felt the panic begin to raise in her again.
Xion rests his hands on her shoulders, “I’m not going to allow anything happen to our little girl. I promise you that. Besides, we know that she has your fiery temper and she’s bound to have our resourcefulness and keen mind. She’s shown proof of that already in her studies.”
Brooklyn listen to Xion’s words and knew that he was right. Still, it didn’t ease the guilt that she felt over the whole thing. It was easy to forget that Tiana saw life as black and white. She was so much like her but her own person. Brooklyn reached out to squeezed his hands to feel his strength. “Please help me find her."
He looked into her eyes and nodded,
“Of course. There’s nothing else more important than bringing our family back together.”
Main Event #1: Stardom Tag Team Classic - Semi-Final Match #1
The Doombringer & Brother Zachariah vs. GZWA Television Champion "High Spot Hero" Equinox & "The Iceman" Konrad Raab
Prof. X: As per the rules decreed by the GZWA Chairman prior to the revival of the Television Championship, if Equinox is pinned here by either Brother Zachariah or The Doombringer, he would lose the title to the corresponding Superstar who scores the winning pinfall or submission.
The Carter: That has to put some extra pressure on the team of Konrad Raab and Equinox to advance to the next round.
Francine: There’s no doubt about that. First match that Equinox finds himself into in the New Year and he already has a target on his back. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that this isn’t nothing to take lightly.
Prof. X: After the team of Zachariah and Doombringer eliminated Rex Terrell and the former World Champion in the opening round as well as the team of Equinox and Konrad Raab had a strong showing in the Television Championship Special, many within the GZWA Nation are saying that these two teams are pegged as strong favorites to win this tournament.
Brother Zachariah and Equinox start the match off with Konrad Raab and The Doombringer looking on with interest from their respective corners for their teams. The two Superstars engage in a traditional lock-up. Zachariah gains the upper hand and sent Equinox into the ropes with a powerful Irish whip. Equinox ducks the incoming Clothesline off the rebound on his way to rebound again from the opposite ropes. This time he returns with a Flying Forearm Smash, but found himself caught within Chokeslam. Equinox elbows Zachariah in the head repeatedly to free himself and connects with the Black Mass to the back of Zachariah’s head to bring him down to his knees. Equinox performs a Rolling Thunder into Cutter, but Zachariah doesn’t stay down. Equinox continues his offense with an Inverted Frankensteiner. Zachariah responds with an Electric Chair Forward Drop to counter. He then follows up with Bridging Arm Triangle Choke.
The Carter: This doesn’t look good for the High-Spot Hero!
The Iceman comes crashing down over Brother Zachariah’s body with a Diving Senton Splash to break the hold. Konrad attempts to Powerbomb Zachariah, but Zachariah drops behind him and hits ropes. He returns on the rebound, only to receive the Shatter Machine (Flapjack/Double Knee Facebreaker combination) on the rebound. Equinox went for the cover, but the referee didn’t make the count.
What they didn’t realize is that Brother Zachariah made the blind tag to the Doombringer. He enters the match by feeding the shadows with a Scorpion Death Drop on an unsuspecting Konrad Raab while Equinox is wondering why the referee won’t make the count. Equinox found himself forcefully removed from on top of Zachariah’s body with Pumphandle Fall Away Slam. The High-Spot Hero’s body tumbled across the ring with his body hanging out of the ring. The Doombringer didn’t hesitate to drop a Leg Drop off the apron as Equinox’s body remained hung out of the ring. Before the Doombringer could proceed further with his offense, he was struck from behind with a Baseball Slide from behind from the Iceman to knock the Doombringer off the ring apron. His head smashes over the front of the commercial table as Konrad Raab looks behind him to see another incoming threat. Zachariah flew between the ropes with a Suicide Dive. Unfortunately, he misses its mark but manages to land on his feet at ringside. Konrad Raab blindsides Zachariah by colliding into his body with the full power of a Spear through the barricade.
The crowd erupts into chants of “HOLY SHIT!” as Brother Zachariah laid among the debris of the ruined barricade. The medical team rushes to his side at ringside to get medical attention as it seems that he’s having some issue with his shoulder.
Francine: The medical staff thinks that Zachariah has a possible dislocated shoulder, but he’s not willing to sit out the rest of this match.
The Carter: That wouldn’t be wise. Who knows what possible damage that he could accrue by continuing to compete here.
Back at ringside, Equinox performs the One Winged Angel Driver on the Doombringer, effectively sending him crashing through the commentary table. With the damage done, Equinox and Konrad Raab roll back into the ring to allow the referee make the ring out count.

Doombringer returns to the ring shortly after the count of eight. He charges straight towards Equinox with a Big Boot, but the Television Champion is poised and ready to react with a Calf Killer reversal.
Prof. X: After the punishment this Superstar has endured in this match, the pain threshold has to have a limit for ANY man. I mean he’s only human... or is he?
Francine shrugs, “Don’t look at me for the answer for that question.”
The Doombringer isn’t giving up in any shape or form here. He ferociously elbows to the back of the head to break the hold by force. The Doombringer dragged Equinox back to his feet by the arm for the Deadman Walking (Old School). In a bizarre turn of events, both men floor each other when the Old School and Rainmaker Clothesline hit simultaneously. The referee has no choice but to make the double knockout count to see which Superstar - if any - will respond first before the count of ten.

Equinox returned to his feet first and made the hot tag to the Iceman waiting on the ring apron while it seems that the Doombringer is on his own as he stood back up on shaky legs. Konrad Raab reintroduced himself with a Running Dropkick to knock the Doombringer into the corner. From there, he positions the Doombringer for a Powerbomb from the top rope. Brother Zachariah tags himself in after hopping back up onto the ring apron. He surprises the Iceman as he enters with an Atomic Drop for the assist. This in turn allows the Doombringer to hit a Diving Flying Clothesline. Brother Zachariah took control once more with a Dragon Sleeper. Equinox reentered the match with a Handspring Roundhouse Kick to break the hold on the Iceman by hitting Zachariah’s ailing shoulder. The Doombringer intervenes with the save, taking Equinox out of the equation from any further offense by knocking both of their bodies over the top rope. With the Iceman and Brother Zachariah left in the ring, Konrad Raab pounced on the opportunity to steal the victory with the Frozen Pin (Bridging German Suplex Pin). Zachariah lands on his ailing shoulder as the referee makes the count.

THREE!!!
Prof. X: The team of Konrad Raab and Equinox have advanced to the finals of the Stardom Tag Team Classic, with the journey of Brother Zachariah and the Doombringer ends here. Amazing effort by both teams in this match.
The Carter: That’s for sure.
Francine: Zachariah’s still favoring that shoulder. He might want to get that checked out.
Prof. X: We’ll keep you posted on GZWA.com on the updates on his condition. After the brief commercial break, we’ll be going right into our second main event and last semi-final match in the Stardom Tag Team Classic.
Main Event #2: Stardom Tag Team Classic - Semi-Final Match #2
The Bradley Clan ("The Next Level" Mike Bradley, "The Guru" Danielle Bradley, "The Bouncer" Kris Williams, and "Dynamo"Jesse Bradley vs. "The Bobbilicious One" Bobbi Jackson, Eliza Frost, and "The Domniqtrix" Dominique Frost
Prof. X: Much like our previous contest, the deck is stacked against the reigning Tag Team Champions. If the tag champions are eliminated from the tournament here, they will be forced to defend their tag team titles against the team that eliminates them at a later date, meaning that the Bradley Clan could be guaranteed a tag title match down the road.
Francine: I rather have a dozen root canals than see that happen…
The Carter: Lighten up Franny! We get to end the show with a bang with both the Bradleys and the tag champs out here in full force!
After discussion among the members of each respective team, it is decided that the Bradley Clan chose Jesse and Danielle Bradley while Bobbi Jackson and Dominique Frost work their team since both teams are competing in this tournament under the Freebirds rule. With that decision made, Bobbi Jackson and Danielle Bradley start off the match.
The Carter: I think we might have a first here. Correct me if I’m mistaken but is this Bobbi Jackson and Danielle Bradley’s first encounter sharing a GZWA ring together?
Prof. X: I would believe so.
Francine: Danielle Bradley has shared a GZWA ring with a lot of blondes throughout her days in GZWA, but I’m inclined to agree with the professor on this one. Otherwise, I’m sure some smart-ass on social media will be quick to point out our mistake tonight.
At the sound of the opening bell to start this match, the Guru proves that she hasn’t skipped a beat. Danielle intercepts Bobbi’s opening Clothesline attempt with a Double Knee Armbreaker. Danielle then struck swiftly with a series of right jabs and backflips to follow up with a Running Clothesline for good measure. What she didn’t expect was the Bobbilicious One intercepting her with a Discus Clothesline. Bobbi Jackson went to setup the Show-Shooter (Slightly Modified Sharpshooter) with the Knee Clip from behind. Danielle Bradley was ready to intercept that attack by leapfrogging over Bobbi’s body. After the Bobbilicious One missed her mark, the Guru was quick to capitalize on the folly with a Running Bulldog from behind. Danielle beckoned Bobbi to her feet and fired off a Super Kick to the waking Vixen. Bobbi caught her foot in motion and countered with a Dragon Screw. From this position, Bobbi transitioned into an application of Sharpshooter. Danielle Bradley wasn’t having any of that as she kicked Bobbi back kick into the corner before the hold was properly secured. She sprung back to her feet and followed up by crashing the D-Train (Elijah Express) into Bobbi in the corner. The Guru completes this lethal combination with a Hangman’s Neckbreaker out of the corner and covers the Bobbilicious One.

THRE---NO!!!
It was looking like the Bradley Clan had this match won until the last second break by Dominique Frost. Eliza Frost could be seen sighing in relief at ringside. The Dominiqtrix removes the Guru off of the Bobbilicious One with a Body Slam. Danielle manages to drop back behind Dominique to escape and dropkicks her from behind into the corner. The Guru then connects with another D-Train (Elijah Express) before tagging out to Jesse on the ring apron. Jesse enters the match with a Jumping Neckbreaker upon entry into the ring. Unfortunately, she fell right at the feet of the Bobbilicious One, who wasted no time applying another pending Show-Shooter. Danielle returned back into the ring to break the hold with a well-placed Super Kick but Bobbi releases the hold in time to elevate Danielle onto her shoulders for a Death Valley Driver. Bobbi successfully executes the maneuver by dropping her right on top of Jesse.
Bobbi then tags in Dominique after she took a moment to shake off the cobwebs. Dominique enters the ring in dominating fashion, managing to lift both women representing the Bradley Clan off the mat with ease. Both Danielle and Jesse sense the pending danger and kick Dominique in the midsection to free themselves from her grasp for the pending Double Chokeslam. Dominique doubled over to receive the follow-up Double Super Kicks from Jesse and Danielle that sent her reeling into the ropes. Jesse caught Dominique on the rebound after she rebounds from the opposite ropes with a Sling Blade. With Dominique grounded, Jesse continued her offense with a Handspring Back Elbow to the waking Dominiqtrix. Dominique caught her in motion with a Pendulum Backbreaker Stretch before smashing Jesse over the spine with a Clubbing Forearm. Dominique then continued her assault with an Elevated Cobra Clutch to Jesse Bradley. Danielle opts in to make the save once again with a Running Bulldog to the Dominiqtrix to break the hold. What the Guru didn’t account for was Bobbi Jackson intervening by simultaneously impacting into her with a Spear.
With all four women down on the mat, Rockett Security Inc. decided to make an appearance in this match as they attacked the Bradley Clan members (Mike and Kris) at ringside from behind. Mike Bradley and Kris were able to endure the sneak attack to put up some offense of their own. Bobbi was back to her feet first and took the time to climb the top rope with a Diving Moonsault on her mind. Danielle tossed Bobbi from the top rope and took her place on the top rope. The Guru hesitates briefly before executing the D-Bomb (Corkscrew Moonsault) into masses at ringside to floor everyone - Mike, Kris, and both members of Rockett Security Inc.
The Carter: So much for Rocket Power.
Francine: Please, I doubt the Rocketts have enough brain cells between them to power a flea’s motorcycle around a penny. You should be proud, Carter. They have your quarter beat by a mile.
Prof. X: The crisis has been averted but this match isn’t over yet, folks.
Jesse Bradley found herself distracted with what happened at ringside involving her family members but returned back up to her feet first. She hits the ropes and performs the Dynamo Driver (Front Flip Piledriver) to the waking Dominiqtrix. Dominique derails that plan by flipping Jesse overhead with Back Body Toss. Jesse’s body lands right on bottom buckle but Dominique showed no remorse as she dragged to her feet into Ice Pick (Crucifix Powerbomb). After Jesse’s body hits the mat, Dominique tags to Bobbi, who applies the Show-Shooter once more. Danielle hops back up onto the ring apron to launch herself back into the ring with a springboard, but she was sent back down to the floor with a Running Big Boot by Dominique as Jesse submits to the hold.
Prof. X: Turns out that bump on the turnbuckle didn’t do Jesse any favors.
The Carter: She really didn’t have any choice. Danielle gave it her best effort to have her back in her first in-ring bout in GZWA. Either way, I think the ladies of the Bradley Clan have nothing to be ashamed of here.
Francine: I’m inclined to agree on that statement. I think that loss tonight is merely going to fuel the fire on the Bradleys’ hatred of the Machine even further.
The Carter: (Whistles) Yeah, I’d hate to be those Rockett boys. The Bradleys are going to tar and feather them when they get the chance.
Prof. X: We end our first broadcast of 2018 with both the teams of Konrad Raab and Equinox along with the team of the Frosts and Bobbi Jackson advancing to the finals of the Stardom Tag Team Classic. That’s all we have for tonight GZWA fans, stay tuned for ReAction.
