"Get Ready to Fly" by GRITS plays through the arena, as AJ Styles walks out onto the stage. He's got a microphone in his hand, and the look on his face shows that he means business. He continues to walk with a purpose towards the ring, and upon entering spreads his arms out in his signature taunt for a moment before raising the microphone to his mouth.
AJ Styles: Last week on Primetime, Genesis eliminated me from the GZWA Television Championship tournament, advancing himself to the finals to face Mei Long at Final Encounter. Now, I will say that I wish it was me facing her on Sunday, but I didn't come out here to complain about losing. Especially since I will be one of the participants in a Battle Royal taking place at the PPV, with the winner receiving a championship match against the newly crowned TV Champion. What I did come out here to do, is to let both Genesis and Mei Long know that I wish them both the best of luck, because regardless of who the new champion is, I will be right there next week on Primetime to face them for their title. Genesis, if you win, it'll be one hell of a rematch, I'll guarantee that. Mei Long, if you beat Genesis, I look forward to the challenge. As far as my opponents for the Battle Royal, I came here to win gold and I fully intend on earning my first title shot at Final Encounter so I hope you all bring everything you have because I sure as hell will. Let the battle begin!
