The following promo is surprisingly not from the view of the ReAction crew, but from the hands of one Dean Maddoxxx, introducing a more 'personal' approach to his predictions of Final Encounter, via a Flip HD camera.
He instantly starts off the cuff, not dressed to compete and obviously filming backstage during one of the Primietime matches. So obvious, you can faintly hear the ring announcer introducing the participants under the sea of fans.
Y'know a lot of people come up to me nowadays sayin 'Hey Dean-O, when are you gonna stop holding back the guy you were back in 06? When are you gonna get back to giving people the business and start winning straps left and right?'
I have all those questions comin' at me, and then on the other hand, other people are sayin 'You're washed-up, Maddoxxx....You're a has-been....You can't get it done anymore and blah blah blah, whoopty do'....
I'm still the same guy that's I've always been, and I'm not making excuses for where my head is at in this point in time. I've never been the type of guy who blames my problems on anything else, never will be.
I could tell you about my accomplishments....but I'm sure you've heard about those already.
Hell, I could even go so far as to make some 10 minute rant about 'destiny' with a pseudo Mexican ring announcer by my side....but I won't.
And 'why not' you ask?
Well, first off, it's not my style. Never has been, never will be. 'Cause I don't believe in destiny. I've always been more of a person who believes more in being an advocate of fate anyway. If there's anything besides the questionable otucome of my career as a pro wrestler that's been with me....fate has been there right beside it.
So now it's time for me to pay fate a visit once again. It's do or die time for Yours Truly.....another chance at redemption if you will, but this time, there's a prize at the end of this maze: the GZWA Television Championship.
And you've got to be stupid to think that since there are 5 men and 2 women participating in this match, I'm gonna take them all likely. That's where yor're wrong. I'm in familiar territory once again.....some may call it Midcard purgetory, but I digress.
Y'see, it's not me versus what the GZWA has to offer.....this is a different battle for me. Both professionally AND personally. This is me fighting for the sake of RELEVANCY.
This Sunday. Final Encounter. Battle Royal. I. GOT. NEXT.
