Robert Alexander "Rob" Szatkowski (born December 18, 1970), better known by his ring name Rob Van Dam (RVD), is an American professional wrestler and actor who recently left Total Nonstop Action Wrestling after becoming disgusted with Hulk Hogan owning the company.
Szatkowski has held twenty-nine championships in various promotions during his career, and is a seven-time world champion having held the WWE Championship once, ECW World Heavyweight Championship once, TNA World Heavyweight Championship once, AWR World Heavyweight Championship twice, and he is currently the WSW World Heavyweight Championship. (RVD is also recognized as the first ECW World Heavyweight Champion under WWE's lineage).
He the only man to hold the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Championship simultaneously and the only man to hold the ECW, WWE, and TNA World Heavyweight titles in his career. He was also the winner of WWE's Money in the Bank ladder match in 2006.

Mr Monday Night stole a microphone from the nearest announcer and took in the manic "RVD! RVD! RVD!" chants from the front rows...

Before any of you guys in the locker room get a little froggy and decide to come down here looking for a fight... let me tell you this... what I'm about to do I have not taken lightly and nor have I rushed... to tell you the truth... its been on my mind for months... and only one person out there is to blame for what is about to happen and he is sitting on his ass destroying the lives of people who have more ability in one finger than that overhyped, steroid abusing, back stabbing, cheating son of a bitch who had such a poisoned influence where ever he worked... that people laid down for him or faced a life with no job... well let me tell you something ***ker, I will never lay down for a no good bastard like you Hulk! (cheers from the fans) Hulk Hogan... you have never had it hard... you have never survived a land of barb wire, broken glass and shattered tables... you have spent your entire career playing off the emotions of these fans... and abusing it... you made yourself rich off the efforts of others... YOU stole the dreams of countless great wrestlers who had the misfortune to come across your path... YOU made promises... and broke them for YOUR selfish gains! What about THESE Hulkamaniacs?
I used to be one of them... when I was growing up... I had my Hulk Hogan T-Shirt... I would be in my bedroom ripping off that shirt like you used to do before you sold your soul... I would stand in front of the mirror "brother" and yell your catchphrases until I lost my voice... YOU are the reason I wanted to get into this business Hulk Hogan... but as they always say... never meet your heroes... you will only be dissapointed and by god... I was... after years of nearly getting killed in ECW and dominating the hardcore division of the WWE... I finally sat down with you when you arrived at TNA... and at first... I was in awe... I was thinking... everything bad everyone else had said about you was wrong... you put your hand on me and YOU said... Rob... brother YOU are one of the best I've ever seen and I want YOU to be Mr TNA brother... I want you to be one of the main faces of this company brother... I want... You like so many people like myself have suffered in the past... lied to my face and buried me the moment you had the power... because you knew deep down in your black heart that I was a threat to the little arrangement you and your "boys" have in EVERY company you have been in...
I'm warning you all people... this man destroyed WCW... this man will also destroy TNA... so I compel you to rise up... make yourself noticed and take back the company people like the "Phenominal" AJ Styles built! I am no TNA original but I respect its history... Hulk Hogan... all he wants is the money... he dosn't give a damn about this place... and he never will! Sadly... I can't be one of your saviours... it is not my time or place to ever do so... and why? Cos I wasn't here from the beggining but... I give you all this warning without expecting anything in return except for one thing... I hope you can all understand and appreciate why I'm taking the decision to leave TNA for pastures new... it is not for one minute because of you great fans who actually make some real noise every time we come out here to perform in front of you... and its been an honour even if its not been for as long as I wanted... but I promise you this... it dosn't matter where I perform... it dosn't matter how much I get paid... it dosn't matter who I have to face... they can be 7ft tall deadmen, they can be scorpion icons... Rob Van Dam has signed a professional wrestling contract with Ground Zero Wrestling Association... only time will tell how much of an impact he will make but one thing is for sure... it is sure gonna be entertaining and exciting to watch the WHOLE F'KIN SHOW on GZWA television programming!
