At 2:30 PM, when school was over for everyone, a 8th grader stood on top of the nineth grade block with a rope tied around his neck and he jumped and took suicide.
The whole entire school went into chaos and...that student was one of my good friends, Nick.

Jesus Christ. I thought school sucked for me today because of super confusing fractions but serious stuff like this is extremely awful.
So sorry about this. Losing a friend is tough and it's even more sad since it was suicide. R.I.P <3

I can't possibly know how you are feeling right now, since I have never gone through something like that, but I am truly sorry for your loss and we can only hope that your friend is now in a better and happier place and his soul will now find peace.

There was this guy that once said "It's better to burn out than to fade away". It always sucks when someone dies, even more so when you know them well. I haven't met anyone who's done it, but around this time last year, I thought about suicide myself. It's a complicated thing that could happen to anyone. It's unfortunate that it had to happen to your friend in particular. Hopefully he's in a better place now, as it can't be much worse than living in this world.

I have had two family members commit suicide Andre, the loss is unmeasured. You constantly ask yourself questions to why they would do such a thing, to how much of a dark moment and place they must have been in life to come to such a conclusion that the only option, answer and best way for themselves and others is for them to die.
You will never forget but you will cope, we are all here for you man.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss and my prayers go out to you and Nick's friends and family. I couldn't even begin to say I know what that pain feels like, as I've never lost anyone due to that. My best friend and I both have experiences with being in that place in our lives though.
I have depression which is now managed, but I've been to the point of considering suicide several times and at one point made an attempt, but my life turned around since then.
My best friend considered it as well, and I know the feeling of being helpless in the other person's shoes.
If you ever want or need to talk, I'm here as well. Something like this is already hard enough to go through, so don't be afraid to reach out.

Thanks guys, this whole event was so sudden. I haven't eaten or slept in two days, been absent from school and every time, I burst into tears...You guys don't know how much you are helping me.

Coming from the same situation, I'm going to tell you something that's prolly running through your head when it happened to me:
- It's NOT your fault. You're not Superman, you couldn't have stopped what was going to happen. Everyone has their own free will, you didn't have any power of changing this as anyone else.
- It's going to hurt, but just remember your friend doesn't want you to be sad. He's not in pain anymore. He's not suffering anymore. He's in a better place now.
