PROLOGUE
«Day by day, as the very first pay-per-view, The First Encounter, inches closer, Omega has been concentrating. As one of the first competitors to show up in Ground Zero, he has been automatically been placed in a match at the premiere event. Specifically, a battle royale. The winner of the match will be crowned the very first World Heavyweight Champion in GZWA history. They would receive glory from the fans, recognition from their fellow ring workers, and all in all...a better life. Normally, being put in a championship match so freely would make a normal man ecstatic. But as most have realized by now, Omega is not a normal man. He thought into things way too much, and being a man of his caliber, he has come to that of a somewhat weird conclusion...or so it seems.»
SCENE ONE ;; CONFUSION
«Only a couple days stand in between Omega, and the World Championship match he's been gunning for...or has he? After watching everyone make their individual shots about what they think will happen at the pay-per-view, Omega feels as though things wouldn't be right if he didn't get some air time to speak on the match himself. So he scheduled some time with GZWA interviewer Thomas Morning to let out his thoughts. At this time, all the screens in the arena show the professional interviewer standing in the interview room, sharply dressed with his suit and tie. There is a slight, welcoming smile on his face, and after getting cued by the cameraman, he proudly raises up his microphone and speaks with an enthusiastic tone of voice; if you heard closely, you would realize, however, that it is fake enthusiasm. But that was what he was trained to do.
THOMAS MORNING
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another edition of Ground Zero. My name is Thomas Morning, and tonight, I am here with a competitor who has done quite a bit in the first two weeks of being here, including adding a defeat to the record of the Legendary Undertaker! Tonight, I give you the self-proclaimed Demonic Angel...Omega! Good to have you here."
On perfect cue, the camera steadily zooms out to show a disgruntled Omega, dressed in a white undershirt and leather jacket, along with tight black jeans, almost laced from top to bottom with radiant silver chains. It was the ultimate gothic look. Rings of different design covered every finger as well; so much that it looked almost deadly to those who saw him. But he didn't care about his attire. His arms are crossed; his feet tapping, almost impatiently. It seemed he didn't care about anything at all. But if you thought that, you were wrong. His mind used to be an empty canvas, but now that he's been put in this match, the canvas has filled to the point of capacity. It's time to let his thoughts out. Maybe it'll make him let go of this confusion he's been carrying along with him for the past couple days. He looks over at Morning, uncrossing his arms slowly and lazily. Before the interviewer gets another chance to speak, Omega lifts up his mic. He shakes his finger at Thomas' face, basically saying that he'll take things from here. Morning gets the message, and lays off, awaiting what the Demonic Angel had to say.

"Before you say anything else, Thomas Morning...let me just say this. Let me answer all your questions before you even get the chance to ask me. Let me satisfy the audience; the people that are asking for a reason why I haven't shown my face for the past couple of days. Well, Thomas, it's actually quite simple. I haven't been showing myself...because I was ashamed. Why was I ashamed, you might ask? This is also quite simple. I was ashamed of being confused about this whole First Encounter, free-title-match thing. One more question you might be asking is this: why am I confused? This answer is not so simple, but I'll try to lead you through it as simply as I can. In a couple of days, the Ground Zero Wrestling Association will be presenting its very first! That's right...the first, the premiere, numero uno! The very first pay-per-view event in its history! And to celebrate this momentous occasion, GZWA decided to put all the amazing male talent, and stuff them into one ring to fight. It'll be a battle royale...of sorts. Now, I know what you're all thinking. What's so special about a battle royale? Sound's like a load of shit, right? But no. There is a special factor...a reward...for the winner of the match. The winner...gets to be crowned...the very first GZWA World Champion. GZWA management says that we deserve this match for working so hard in the first month or so since its opening. I can't lie. Like everyone else, I was fucking ecstatic. But the thing is, unlike them, I didn't come here to tell you all about my dreams of winning the World Championship...because, frankly, dreaming about something is fun and all, but I'll leave the dreams to the people that can't achieve their own desires. To be honest...I don't deserve this match. At the beginning of my career in Ground Zero, I said you would expect gold around my waist. What I didn't say...was that I had pride...was that I had ego. I don't want to do this...until my thirst for blood was quenched. Right now, I've done...nothing...NOTHING. I didn't do shit to deserve any title match of any kind. I wanna work my way to the top. That's why I'm resigning my spot in the championship match. Now...I think I've answered ALL of your questions."
With that shocking announcement finally told, Omega hands his microphone to Thomas. His crimson eyes show nothing but seriousness as he turns his body around, heading off and leaving the interview area; his chains clanging and making a sad, echoing sound as he does.»
SCENE TWO ;; CONCLUSION
«After the shocking revelation that Omega had come up with earlier on tonight, the GZWA audience is left even more confused than Omega at the start of the night. Nobody would be stupid enough to just opt out of a free title match so easily without more of a reason. At this point in time, Omega has realized this too, and has scheduled more airtime to cover everything up. This time, he's come up with an epiphany. A camera is placed in his room...a room in which he revamped heavily. The walls looked crumbled, and are surrounded by gothic pictures, charms and other forms of paraphernalia. The place looks empty other than that; nary a bed or television in sight. Just a pitch black chair, turned away from the camera, set precisely in the dead center of the room. The ambiance of the place would make you feel like you're in hell...if it wasn't for the heavenly incense set by the special candles at the corners of his room. Suddenly, the chair moves. In one large, awkward screeching sound, the once silent, immobile chair turns around one hundred eighty degrees. Sitting in that chair is Omega, dressed in the same attire as earlier on. The same emotionless expression is shown on his face as it was before. He could barely be seen in the dark, but the candles faintly illuminate him. His eyes glow brightly in the darkness, with intensity; showing that there is something on his mind once more. But what?
OMEGA
"Not too long ago, I told the entire GZWA audience, let alone Thomas Morning, that I would drop out of the battle royale to determine the very first GZWA World Champion. And I had my reasons for doing so. I said that my pride was getting in the way. I said...that I didn't deserve to be in a match of this much...importance...without proving my worth; without ripping some heads first. Sure, that was my reason...but as I sit here, in my sanctuary, I've realized that my reasons...were utterly FOOLISH. I can't let my pride blur my vision if I want to get anywhere in this business...even if my pride is the thing that is keeping me going at the moment. Sure, I haven't walked through the fires of hell like one of my opponents, The Undertaker. Sure, I don't have the so-called 'credentials' like Dean Maddoxxx has...or so he says. I don't deserve to win gold at the level that I am at right now...but the truth is, neither does ANY of my opponents. I need to realize that they just got here as well, and that they're just beginning as well. And you know what? Even though I haven't achieved that much...I have the power to pull off a Cinderella Story. I have the power to overcome all the odds and do great things in the business! I mean...I've already proven that. I defeated the legendary Undertaker! You know...I guess that was my epiphany all along. And I guess that I needed to resign in order to realize that. The meaning of life...is to find a meaning to live for. The gold...is my meaning, and I will only live to attain it. Now that I've said that...I WILL be in the championship battle royale, and I will TEAR EVERYONE APART! And when I win the GZWA World Championship...that is not a dream, because like I said before, I'm not a dreamer. It's me achieving my inevitable reality. When I win...I will make my mark...I will be the very first GZWA World Champion. And things will never be the same for me, or this business...ever again. Oh, and a message for The Undertaker...just because I'm going to win the title...doesn't mean this rivalry of ours is finished. Who knows? Maybe I'll give you the first shot at the gold. I'm sure we'll have many more great matches together. We'll tear this house DOWN."
A light chuckle escapes Omega's mouth as he turns back around in his chair. The camera moves over, so that it could get another view of the Demonic Angel, but he has disappeared. All of a sudden, the camera turns to static, ending the scene.»
