Shawn Michaels : a name that has gone down in the wrestling books for being one of the best to ever stop foot in the ring. Michael Hickenbottom : the man behind the legend.
Ever since he was young, Michael had been fasanated with the sport of professional wrestling. From studying the business from greats such as Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes to wrestling with his friends where ever he could, Hickenbottom had his mind made up he was going to be a professional wrestler.
Starting out in San Antonio getting trained by legend Jose Lathero, Hickenbottom quickly changed his name to Shawn Michaels and eventually got hired by the WWE with Marty Janette as the Midnight Rockers; they quickly got fired because of backstage antics. Eventually McMahon gave them a second chance within the company. The duo were together until Michaels broke up the tag team by giving Janette Sweet Chin Music on Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake's show, throwing him through a window afterwards. The rest is professional wrestling history.
