History & Biography:
There is one thing you can say about Chris Jericho: The guy sure knows how to make an entrance.
His WWE debut in 1999 as the man behind the mysterious Y2J millennium countdown was one of the most memorable moments in WWE history. But Jericho outdid himself in his "second coming" as the answer to a series of code-encrypted video eight years later. The man who will "Save_US" all returned after a two-year hiatus, and the WWE Universe couldn't have been happier.
Whether beloved or hated by WWE fans, Jericho has never been at a loss for words. And "Y2J" has backed up every single word he said in his storied career, winning a laundry list of championships and going down in history as the first ever Undisputed WWE Champion.
The son of former National Hockey League player Ted Irvine, Jericho was born in Manhasset, N.Y. but was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. He trained in Stu Hart's famed dungeon and made his pro wrestling debut at age 19 in 1990. Jericho wrestled around the world and infused different styles he learned in Canada, Mexico and Japan into his own repertoire. He slowly built a following what would become loyal "Jerichoholics"

January 2nd, 2012. For six weeks, cryptic promos of a mans rebirth were sporadically shown throughout the weeks of WWE programing. On this day, January 2nd, the mystery man was slated to show up and reveal himself, after weeks of hype, a video package played...it was time.
The familiar pose of a man who once called himself Y2J, stood in the darkness, with his glowing sparkling jacket. There was no denying the man was Chris Jericho. As the lights in the arena, his theme song played and the crowd erupted. An ecstatic Jericho turned to face to crowd with a wide smile across his face, a smile that had once been a stone faced glare and nothing more. The smile was once again present. As Jericho made his way down the ramp, he embraced with fans along the way, shaking their hands and taking pictures, before finally he made his way up the ring steps, and stepped through the ropes.
Taking a few more moments to take in the cheers and applause, Jericho nodded, encouraging the crowd to continue to embrace. After a few more lingering moments, Jericho walked to the ropes and had been handed a microphone. Holding the microphone up, Jericho's smile and glow went back to that once familiar stone face scowl, cutting straight to the chase, he began to speak.

After a few more lingering moments, Jericho walked to the ropes and had been handed a microphone. Holding the microphone up, Jericho's smile and glow went back to that once familiar stone face scowl, cutting straight to the chase, he began to speak.
"April 11th, 2011, how many of you remember the date? April 11th, 2011, an event took place, an event that from every day on after the fact, lead this company into nothing more than mediocrity. On April 11th, 2011 the man they call Edge, was forced into retirement, leaving a giant, gaping hole in the WWE Universe, causing this company to play mix and match, causing you all the fans, the WWE "Universe" to scratch your heads in pure confusion as to what exactly was going on."
The crowd falls dead silent, in their on confusion, unsure of where Jericho was going, but dead set on listening to every single word he speaks. Jericho's head shakes and he steps closer to the ropes, resting his arms against them, staring out into the crowd, as he continues to go on.
"The events that have taken place since that day have been a poor excuse for quality. This company has turned into a Marvel Comic Book, with your Super Cena's and your Incredible Orton's. This company has become a politic game because nobody is willing to step up and fill that role. Nobody is willing to go above and beyond the call, nobody wants to break the rules and nobody wants to push their own limits, and now, we're left with sub-par "entertainment." Every single great thing about this company has been ruined by the domino effect and this company is content with that."
Mild cheers break out, but still out of confusion, the crowd cheers quietly, on the edge of their seats, anticipating more words from Jericho.
"When I returned from my first hiatus, I went from being Y2J to an angry man in a suit, because in this business you need Evolution, you need to change, and I went with calling everyone in this crowd, and watching at home, hypocrites. Hypocrites for cheering the likes of people who have done more wrong than I and continuing to hate me. I stand here now, the same as all of you, and the hypocrites in this company are the ones that run it, because they settle for less, and if you don't believe it, I brought proof with me."
Jericho pulls the microphone away from his face and simply points up to the titantron, allowing the video to play, before bringing the microphone back up to his lips.
"We are supposed to be the cure for the common show, us, the WWE Superstars are supposed to be able to come out here and entertain you all, but instead we're given scripts and guidelines to go by. This, what you hear right now, is unscripted, unrehearsed television. The WWE has become the hypocrites, and April 11th 2011 was just an excuse to push their form of entertainment on you all, because the one man who pushed the lines was forced to leave.
It's the End of the World as you know it, because now, I Chris Jericho will single-handedly change the way the viewer watches television, I will change the way this company is run because I will single-handedly fill that gap. I Chris Jericho, am the kryptonite to the Super-Cena, and I'm the Red-Hulk to the Incredible Orton, I am the TRUE Voice of the Voiceless, do you understand what I am saying to you right now? I don't need permission, I don't need this jackass right here telling me to hurry it up, I don't need a director telling me what I can and can't say, because I do not care. This, is the rebirth of Y2J and now that the Y2J problem is here...the world, will never, eeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrr~"
Jericho raises up the microphone allowing the crowd to finish his sentence, before he just drops the microphone and steps out of the ring, leaving up the ramp, with his head held high and never looking back.
