Mike Bradley is sitting in his living room in his home in Maine, constantly replaying the final moments of the King of the Mountain qualifier on the last episode of Primetime – wherein Damien Sandow attacked him and cost him his spot in the King of the Mountain match for the GZWA Heavyweight Championship, and the returning Justice took his spot. He sighs heavily after about half a dozen plays.
"To think that two shows ago I was in the driver's seat towards my first GZWA Heavyweight Championship, and now I'm in the early card against Damien Sandow, the man that took me out of that seat and stuffed me in the trunk... it's not pleasant to think about."
He rubs his face in his hands, trying to keep his composure.
“I had the sneaking suspicion something unsavory was going to happen in that match, whether it was me or someone else. Unfortunately, I got a double dose of hosing, both during and after the match. I seriously cannot believe Xion Zeros would associate himself with someone like Justice, let alone in a romantic context...”
“Speaking of the boss, Z, I don't appreciate you criticizing me on ReAction like I'm a whiner – trust me, if you were in my position, you'd be pretty pissed off too.”
Mike shakes his head and stands up.
“Whatever... the past is the past, and it's time to look towards the future. Damien Sandow, you can call yourself sophisticated, a martyr, or an intellectual all you want, but you made the dumbest move of your life costing me my chance at glory, and at Slammiversary, I'm going to beat some smarts into you and then choke them out!”
“But when I'm done with Sandow, I'm not done with Slammiversary. Because I've got a surprise in store for the King of the Mountain match, especially Justice. Everyone in the world knows I should still be in that match, and we also know that Justice had no right to walk in off the street and insert herself into the match like it's no big deal! So if I can't compete, I'll make my presence felt regardless!”
Mike brandishes a kendo stick and smirks.
"I'm not out of the GZWA Championship picture. Not by a long shot. And at Slammiversary, you'll find out why."
And if you don't know... now you know!
