A brief camera shot showed a small area within the GZWA arena: small TV monitors, a GZWA background and some red lights, aka the interview area. However, no interview is taking place here. Stepping into the scene wearing a pair of jeans and a black sleeveless blouse, Lise Starr brushed a few strands of hair out of her face.
“Finally… I have gotten the very thing that I deserve and that is a shot at the GZWA Women’s Championship. My hard work in the past couple of months has paid off. There was the training and the impressive matches that I’ve won. Since I returned to this company a while ago, my goal was to compete for the women’s title. Just last week our Intern GM Mariah announced it: Lise Starr vs. Mei Long for the Women’s Championship at Final Encounter. However, Final Encounter is still a while away and there’s one Primetime left before the pay-per-view. It’s no surprise that I’d love to gain momentum before becoming the new champion and luckily I get that chance on Primetime. I also get a chance of pinning Mei which is gaining even more momentum since we’ll be in the same ring, although with tag team partners. Mei Long is teaming up with some girl named Sapphire, don’t know much about her but I swear that she has to be at least the fifth Sapphire in wrestling. Who’s my partner? Well, she’s Maryse…”
With the tone of voiced used by Lise when taking about her tag team partner, you could tell she wasn’t pleased.
“Maryse and I are like total opposites and it is a weird pairing. I really don’t know why they made her my partner for Primetime. Take a look at Maryse then look back at me. She’s the type of woman who’s extremely focused on her looks and clearly I don’t relate to that. I just hope she’ll be putting some effort into winning this match and not focus on her weird hand gestures and hair flips… If not then maybe I’ll have to do most of the work out there, although it’s not such a bad thing. I mean, beating both Mei Long and Sapphire? That’s a lot more momentum for Final Encounter.”
Placing her hands into the pockets of her jeans, Lise Starr looked back at the camera for one last time.
“All I have left to say is… Mei Long, try to enjoy your last Primetime as Women’s Champion but I think it’s going to be hard to try and enjoy it when you’ll end up losing.”
