The camera turns on and we immediately see The Fallen Angel walking in the opposite direction as the camera crew hurries to catch up with him. As they do, the interviewer fires off the first question.
Christopher Daniels, can we get a few words about your tag team match scheduled for Primetime later tonight?
Daniels stops walking and turns around, an angry fire in his eyes. Between everything that had happened with himself and his fiancee, Tina Angel, he wasn't in a great mood to speak about his match tonight. Especially with his tag team partner being the man he's accused Tina of being with, John Cena. Daniels glares at the camera for a moment. looking like he's either going to punch the interviewer in the face or launch a verbal tirade that would have to be heavily censored before airing.
Yeah, I have a few words. Mostly a combination of four and five letters that wouldn't make it to a live broadcast. For the second week in a row, The Fallen Angel gets thrown in a tag team match. Not even a good tag team match. Not even the main event! As usual, that spot goes to AJ Styles. Big surprise there!
Well, he is the GZWA Heavyweight Champion.
Look, you wanted my two cents, right? Well, then shut the hell up and let me give it to you. Now, where was I?
He gazes up to the ceiling, while scratching his head pretending to try and rack his brain for where he had left off. After a moment, he snaps his fingers returning his focus to the camera.
Oh, yeah. We were talking about the fact that AJ Styles is in the main event, while the true face of GZWA is stuck in a tag team match. Hmm...This isn't the first time that happened. Now, I get it. Styles has been here for almost two years, and I'm a few months shy of my one year anniversary here, so one could say, 'Well, Chris, you haven't been here long enough' and do you know what I'd say that? I'd say that's it's a crock of (beep)! AJ Styles was here less than a year when he won the GZWA Television Championship. It was around this time last year that I got fed up with the so-called "Phenomenal One" being TV Champion. Well, you know? A year later, and I'm still fed up with that no good piece of trailer trash walking around here contaminating my gold. Actually, I'm fed up with a couple pieces of trash holding gold around here, which brings me back to the original point.
Finally!
Daniels has had enough of the snarky comments and changes direction with his thought while speaking in a snappy tone.
What the hell is it with you people? You follow us around like bloodhounds sniffing around for 'our thoughts' and then, we take time out of our busy schedules to share them, and you sit there like an ungrateful moron and complain about it. You want my thoughts about tonight's match in particular? Well, listen up because I'm only going to say this one time, and even that's more than you deserve to hear.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that John Cena and I don't like each other. He knows it. I know it. All those idiots out there and even the ones back here know it. But there are a few people on this roster that I can't stand even more than him. One is AJ Styles, but Double S is going to take care of him tonight, and leave his carcass for me to finish off later. The other two are going to be standing on the opposite side of the ring tonight -- Genesis and Mike Bradley. So, my focus will be on kicking their ass tonight, but Cena, don't think for one second that I'm letting you off the hook.
Now, Genesis is a man that you've stepped in the ring with a few times since you came into this company. I don't believe you've ever been in the ring with Mike Bradley, though you have exchanged words over Twitter.
As far as Mike Bradley, his bark is worse than his bite. I'm not intimidated for one second because he's just talking out of his ass. Actually, it might be his mouth for all I know. They both look the same and are full of (beep), so I can't tell the difference. While we're on the topic of (beep), I'll share my thoughts on his tag team partner, Genesis. Mr. "King of Controversy" himself.
He does air quotes before chuckling.
This guy thinks he's controversial? His STD test results might be, since he's banged so many women, they can't tell one disease from the other. Speaking of diseases, I thought I heard Sapphire say that she's going to be ringside for our match tonight. I hope you keep a tight leash on her, because if she decides to get in my way, I'll make sure she's unable to compete permanently. I'll even let you watch, since I know you're into that kind of thing!
He laughs at his little joke, and walks out of view of the camera.
Some harsh words from The Fallen Angel directed towards his opponents tonight, and even his tag team partner. It looks like we're going to have to stay tuned to find out what happens when these two unlikely tag teams collide after the commercial break.
The Primetime feed stays focused on the interviewer for a moment, before fading out to a commercial.
