“Ha-ha sure. I’ll talk to you later. Bye!”
Was spoken by Lise Starr just as moved her phone from her ear and ended the call. It’s unknown who she was talking to but it’s obvious it had to be either her best friend April Lee or a fellow member of the Straight Edge Society. With a smile Lise continued to make her way down the halls until interviewer Trent Lewis approached her.
“Hi Lise. Sorry to bother you but we would like to ask you some questions.”
“Sure you can. I’ve got some time and the Lemonade I wanted to buy can wait a few minutes.”
Strangely, she was in a much happier mood and not expressing annoyance at Trent Lewis as Lise Starr hated being interviewed. She continued to smile and placed the phone in the pocket of her jeans.
“Really? Honestly, I am surprised. Well, at least I know my chances of getting whacked in the face again have decreased….”
Trent sighed, remembering the incident with the Bradley siblings on the last episode of Reaction. Then he began to ask Lise a question.
“Back onto the topic, Mariah chose you as one of the ladies who will have the chance to become the number one contender for the GZWA Women’s Championship. The last contender for the title was yourself and the rest I don’t have to explain, so you must be happy about having this opportunity.”
“Exactly, I had the chance to become the GZWA Women’s Champion last December but I lost due to the issues I was going through at the time. However this time it’s different, very different. I no longer drink to deal with depression. I have been clean and sober for about two months now so I’m very confident about winning this fatal four way match on Primetime. I’m glad I have this chance to become the number one contender because I would love to become the Women’s Champion. What this division needs is a woman with dignity and class to represent it.”
“Okay, I see. Also, Tia Brooks is another woman who will be competing to become the number one contender. The two of you have become rivals recently so how will that affect this match?”
“You had to mention her, didn’t you? I expected it anyway. I have to be a bit honest here, as much as I’d love to humiliate Tia by smashing her face in again, I need to focus on winning. If it was a singles match then maybe making Tia Brooks look like a fool would be more on my mind but I also have the freaking Glamazon and some other girl to deal with. God knows who this mystery opponent could be too.”
“That is very understandable. You can’t risk it with two other ladies inside of the ring – one of them being “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix. Speaking of the mystery competitor, what are your thoughts on who this woman could be?”
“Well, besides that this woman could be someone dangerous, I don’t really have any thoughts about her… or him if there’s some sick sort of swerve. I just hope this person is actually deserving of being in this match unlike Tia Brooks who’s only competing because she’s friends with Mariah. Ugh.”
“Thank you for taking your time to answer these questions Lise. Is there anything else you want to say?”
“Actually no. There’s nothing I have to say for now and I think I better go. I want to get some soda and I have plans. See ya.”
Smiling, Lise Starr left the scene.
