Trent Lewis: "Welcome to the interviewing session of Ground Zero Wrestling Assocation. I'm Trent Lewis, and we are here with the Diva's Champion. The Beaytiful Dragon, Mei Long. Nice for you to join us, Mei."
Mei Long: "Thank you. Anything I can do for the interviewers and the fans out there."
"So my first question tonight will be about the main event involving A.J. Styles. Would you like to comment? Send your boyfriend a good luck kiss."
"I just know that A.J. will do excellent tonight, and I'll be rooting for him by his side. I know with so much going on recently, he’s been pretty stressed out."
"So I hear that you and A.J.’s relationship has been distant as of late?"
"Unfortunately, that is the case. We’ve hardly had the chance to see each other and…you know...just talk. We’re both champions, so of course we’re more focused on maintaining that title against many contenders than anything personal like our relationship, but after Primetime we can at least light our flame again."
"So your opponents during Riot Control will be your partners at the Slammy Awards. Would you like to share some of your insight on this matter?"
"With another chance at defending the championship it won’t be as simple as last time, as I have to face two other competitors, especially Rose Cortez, since I've only seen her in action once here in Ground Zero Wrestling Association. I'll say that I was impressed that time. She performed like a professional, but her wrestling history is a contributing factor to that."
"Besides, Slammy Awards is our next show and we get to have a chance at wrestling in one ring. That way I know where to improve on, and I know what strengths and weaknesses the contenders will have. That’s probably my only strategy for tonight and Riot Control, even though Rose and Beth Phoenix are my partners, and we will be wrestling against Amanda, Sapphire, and Maryse. Partnership seems like the first priority this time, and I hope resentment and drive don't distract us from winning this match."
"Anything you would like to say to your opponents tonight?"
"Well, of course I would like to say good luck to them."
"Well, that's all we have here, folks. Thank you for letting us have the chance to interview you, Mei.
"Oh, no problem."
