Timmy Meat started his career much later than most, at the age of 26. For 4 years he worked in backyard wrestling promotions, adopting a party-hard, stunt-driven wrestling style early in those days before being picked up by New Breed Wrestling and then a Japanese garbage promotion.
It was there Timmy took up the BBQing aspect of his gimmick, touring the country and shooting vignettes in various popular restaurants around Japan with often hilarious/disastrous results. It was also where he met Spooky Bastard, long time tag-team partner and trainer.
The overweight man wasn't a technical wrestler by any means, but with a high tolerance for pain; Timmy Meat engaged in many dangerous spots to the delight of fans. His most famous match called the "Match of 1000 Lights" where 1000 lighttubes were destroyed by him and his opponent is on record as one of Japan's bloodiest wrestling matches.
Finding only mid-card level success in Japan, Timmy moved back Stateside and sought out a new challenge, thus landing in GZWA. In an age of social media and personalities that seemed to be all anti-heroes, could a simple country bumpkin with a love of hardcore, BBQs, and beer stand out? GZWA would be the place to answer that question.

A video was mailed to the GZWA offices, on VHS no less! Crudely labeled in black marker as "Timmy Meat Demo Video".
The video opens up in -- black. Only a few voices can be heard.
"This is dumb." Someone with a southern accent.
"Trust me, Timmy. This will get you noticed!" Someone else.
Finally, it appears as though the lens cap is removed from the camera and after some shaky camera work, it focuses on our hero, Timmy Meat. All 300lbs. of him crammed into a grizzly bear costume, with only his white painted face visible. He's 15feet up in a tree.
"Okay, action!" The camera man says between fits of giggles.
"My name is Timmy Meat, and I'm a bear. Bears love black people!"
Just then a random black man walks near and suddenly Timmy Meat jumps from the tree and tackles the man to the ground, rolling with him as the camera man busts into laughter. The man starts yelling,
"What the HELL are you doin', boy?!"
The video then cuts to a montage of Timmy Meat wrestling, all to the tune of Andrew WK's - Party Hard. From hardcore matches involving various random objects, to close ups of various and disgusting wounds that Timmy Meat has received over the years.
After 3 minutes of this, it cuts back to the shaky camera work and Timmy Meat standing on top of a house in suburbia. He's in full wrestling attire and holding up two cooked turkeys.
"Hey, GZWA, I'm Timmy Meat and I'm ready to..."
He suddenly jumps off the roof into a pile of light tubes, hitting it with an explosion of glass, smoke and pyro. Two cheerleaders apear. shaking pom-poms as the cameraman runs over, laughing all the way.
"Dude, you okay?!"
A turkey is then held up as Timmy Meat is laying on his back in a bloody heap,
"...party hard!"
