We greeted with the image of the “Showstoppin’ Senorita” herself, greeting the camera as the view comes into focus.
“Showstoppin’ Senorita” Mariah: It’s been quite some time since our last edition of the Hot Spot, but this is a rather special occasion as I have not one but two special guests in the hot seat with me tonight. One of them knows me very well as of our recent blooming friendship and the other, I am no stranger to as well as she was the last opponent that I have had the pleasure --correction, honor of facing against on ZXWWF’s last Pay-Per-View broadcast. Ladies and gentlemen, without any further adieu, I humbly welcome both “The Heartbreaker” Lise Starr and “The Best Diva in the World” Tia Brooks to the Hot Spot.
First to enter the scene was Lise Starr who had a bit of a bored expression on her face. She didn’t want to be here for the Hot Spot for many reasons, the main being her rival Tia Brooks was going to be present as well. Lise sat down on a seat and greeted Mariah.
Lise Starr: “Sup Mariah?”
Mariah: Nothing much here, Lisey. It’s good to see that you’ve dropped that heavy drinking habit. It was really taking your career down the drain - literally.
Lise Starr: “Totally. My life has become a lot better ever since I joined the Straight Edge Society. You know, a lot of people around here would become better as well if they also adopted my lifestyle. Maybe someone you’re very familiar with.”
Tia Brooks, fashionably late as ever, joins Mariah and her arch nemesis Lise, sitting on the opposite side of the room from Lise.
Tia Brooks: “Sorry, am I late? Like this is an event that I don’t need to miss.” Tia cuts her eyes across the room looking at Lise. “Well well, look who we have here, the girl who I humiliated in front of the whole GZWA Universe.”
Lise Starr: “Oh look who we have here, an airhead who still thinks she’s in high school.”
Mariah: There, there, ladies. No need to start a cat fight here. You two can save that for Riot Control.
Tia Brooks: “Oh don’t worry MiMi, I have much more class than that unlike somebody who attacks people from behind. All of my fighting will be verbal tonight. I have something cooking up for you little girl, waiting for you at Riot Control.” Tia flicks her hair and smirks. “So, bring on the questions, I am just dying to answer them.”
Lise rolled her eyes at Tia’s comments. “Whatever. Continue on, MiMi.”
Mariah: Well then, I’m sure this will definitely be an unique experience for the fans tonight.
Lise Starr: “Of course it will be. The reason why most of the fans are tuning in is to see a member of the SES which is me. I’m sure there’s many hoping to join us but not you, sweetie.” She said, looking towards Tia Brooks then back to Mariah with an “innocent” expression. “Oops, my bad. Let’s just get to the questions. This should be fun.”
Mariah takes a moment to organize her cards before getting this interview underway.
Mariah: I know this is a rather touchy subject for you, Lise. But before you became part of the Straight-Edge Society, you had a heavy drinking problem. What brought you down this miserable road that so many people fall victim to?
Lise Starr: “I think getting to a very serious topic for our first question might be a good thing. It happened a year ago actually, I was wrestling back in my home of Melbourne against a rookie and the match was going alright for someone who was green but after a messed up German Suplex my neck almost broke. Never having such a serious injury, I was shocked. While healing up, a lot of my family told me to quit and get into careers that I never would do like child-care. I mean, can you imagine me working with kids? Or even hairdressing, I usually burn myself when straightening my own hair so could you imagine the massacre I would perform on someone else? - Let’s get to the point. Many people in my family are against me being a wrestler and have since I started almost ten years ago. They went from being ignorant to pure mean about what I do and it hurts. Drinking seemed to make myself feel good and it got worse, sadly. Thankfully, I got the help I needed thanks to CM Punk, he knew I had a horrible problem and helped me see that.”
Tia raises her eyebrow for a moment, “Touching story Lise, I am being serious right now. I'm glad that your neck isn’t broken and all, but why S.E.S.? Why try to follow my footsteps and take over my leftovers? I mean any smart person would have known not to drink in the first place, excluding my recent New Year’s experience, but seriously, I was straight edge before I met Phil. Why do even more damage to your body then what its already endured.” Tia shakes her head, “You know, back when I joined GZWA, I had the privilege to meet you, why didn’t you seek help from me then? I think there is something way more behind this despite your drinking problem, you were jealous from the start and needed a way to try to get Phil. You just couldn’t resist seeing such a power couple in professional wrestling to where you had to stick your nose in it. Am I right?”
Mariah chimes in, “Hold on a minute there, Tia. I don’t want to take sides, but to be fair, CM Punk approached her, not the other way around.”
Lise Starr: “Seriously Tia? Bringing up the old jealousy card? First of all you have no right saying that kind of crap about me. I am not the type of woman to go after taken guys, especially with things I’ve gone through in the past and it’s not my fault Punk dumped you. Maybe you shouldn’t have turned against him in the first place. Also, there’s nothing going on between him and I. Sure, we’re pretty close but we are good friends.”
Mariah clears her throat for the next question, smiling a bit before speaking, “One of the many fans of the GZWA Nation wrote in and asked the following question, ‘Do you two Divas have any feelings for CM Punk?’’ Mariah perks a brow at Tia first, “Tia, from the tone in your voice and your behavior since he cast you out two months ago, I know you still have a spark in your heart for the guy and that’s perfectly normal, especially for the long-time you two have been together.” She then turns her head towards Lise, “Now, Lise, I must admit I have been wondering this for the last few weeks now like the rest of the GZWA Nation. Sure, Punk saved you and gave your life purpose again after he ended your alcoholic addiction, but what is really going on between you two? No one seems to know what’s going on in Punk’s head, but do you feel something for him too?”
Tia Brooks: “Please let me answer this one first, but before I do, I just want to clarify the previous question. Yeah I know I was the one who left Punk, but I still have a gut feeling that there could have been something going on between the two before and why he is so different now, which brings me to my answer now. Yeah, I have feelings for Punk, the old Punk who isn’t egotistic like he is now. he is a whole new person who is being fed crap from his lackeys to make that ego grow. I was not going to give in, instead I found a group of ladies who I now call friends. But anyways back to my point, who knows how things would have been if I did turn my back on you, MiMi. Lise over here may have taken a downward spiral and never heard of in the GZWA again. I think I have done you a favor, Lise. Oh, and you’re welcome.”
Mariah laughs, “Who knows, Punk being straight could be a work and he’s just into playing with Dean in his spare time...” After her and Tia share a brief laugh, Mariah adds, “You know that me and the rest of the Bees love you like a sister too, Tia. That’s not going to change. Don’t doubt for an instant that you didn’t make the right choice when you decided that having loyal friends was more important than pleasing an egotistical guy. Punk’s ego is going to be his downfall. You’d think he would learn a lesson from ‘poor little’ Genesis...”
“Gay jokes. Haha... shut up.” She would say, showing a small glare to Mariah. “And I don’t wanna hear about this Queen Bee Mafia garbage. Tia you claim that you knew the real CM Punk? Honey, maybe the CM Punk you knew was the one you wanted. Hanging out with an annoying, fake, fashion loving bimbo? There’s only one reason why he was hanging around someone like that and we know exactly what it was - the very thing you revealed a while ago on Primetime. To answer your question Mariah. Do I have feelings for Punk? That is absolutely no one’s business. Although it’s understandable why you’d ask that. He’s a very nice guy who helped me when I needed it. He’s done more for me than what most of my family have done in twenty-five years of my life. Not only did he do that but he is a true friend. I never had a true friend before.”
Mariah adds, “But what about your so-called friend, April? What is she to you? Are you aware of her little obsession with your Savior?”
“April? Let me tell you something. She’s also someone I’m happy to have in my life because she’s a lot like myself. We have the same interests like anime and video games. She makes me feel less misunderstood in a way. A lot like Punk does in another way with my attitude. You know, my sarcasm.” Lise lightly chuckled to herself. ”April’s obsession? You mean that incident that happened a long time ago? I never have really talked to her about it because it’s something that happened between her and Punk. I don’t want to make things awkward by talking about it.”
Tia smirks and shakes her head, “Thank you Captain Obvious for your pageant worthy answer. Of course you are going to defend your friend and not put her on blast like any other good friend would do. You two are no better than high school girls trying to sneak in my University to hit on the college jocks. Oh and don’t get me started on that little comment you made about me being a fashion loving bimbo. Why you being cute!?! I feel a little jealousy from you, because I can be both the Punk chick and glamorous while you just sport one look. Like they say, haters gonna hate.”
Mariah snaps since Morgan Davis isn’t in their company at the moment to do it herself.
“Haters gonna hate!” Lise Starr quickly said with a high pitched American accent, mocking Tia. “Wow, you compare me and my best friend to high school girls when you’re the one clearly stuck in high school.”
Mariah shook her head before shuffling her cards again. To both Tia and Lise’s surprise, Mariah bursts out laughing before reading the question. “I’m going to totally kill Morgan for making sure this question was picked out of all of the ones sent in.” She looks over to Tia, “Tia, I’m sure you would be more informed to answer this question than Lisey. The girls around the world want to know the truth - how much firepower is CM Punk packing in those trunks?”
Tia bursts out laughing, “Wow, wouldn’t Lise like to know this answer, unless she already does as much as she is up Punk’s ass. Well, let’s just say there are more reasons why he is called The Best In The World.” Tia laughs once more and smiles.
With a disgusted expression, Lise would speak. “Why are some fans so perverted!? I mean, there’s plenty of good looking guys in this industry but I don’t wanna know how big they are in their pants. I mean, what the hell?” She finished with a light blush.
Mariah teases, “Oh don’t be like that, Lise. Everyone loves to peak at their presents before Christmas. I won’t deny that I’m a little intrigued to see if he lives up to the legend there, Tia.” Mariah giggles lightly.
Mariah regains her composure and continues, “At Riot Control, both of you are scheduled to face each other in a one-on-one contest. There’s no fancy stipulation or rules, but I can definitely sense the tension between both of you here tonight. What does this match mean to both of you individuality?”
“I’d say that this match is going to be an important one to me. On the last GZWA pay-per-view Final Encounter, I had an embarrassing loss against the Women’s Champion. So it would be good if I could pick up a big win on the first pay-per-view of this year and finally shut a certain someone’s big mouth.”
Tia sighs before giving her answer, “Are you done? Just like the match says, one on one, and it better stay that way. I don’t wanna see anyone jump over the rails, no bitches under the ring, and not even Phil popping on the screen trying to distract me. I want a clean match between us. If I can recall, you have mentioned me as a pretty girl who gets her way in the business by sleeping my way top and my looks, well I got news for you. I have got where I am by hard work. I have fought in an all female wrestling company, so there is no way I could have slept to the top. I was trained by the best and speaking of, to prevent having another embarrassing loss at a Pay Per View, you better seek help from Punk if you want to be on my level. Oh and don’t forget about laundry day if you don’t want it to be even more embarrassing for you.”
“Oh trust me, it’s going to be one on one. I don’t need help from anyone because I can do the work myself...” Lise suddenly smirked. ”I personally can’t wait to beat you 1-2-3. They do say that I might talk a little too much but when you can back it up, there’s nothing wrong with talking.”
Mariah laughs, “Lisey, I think you have been reading too many of April’s Ziggy shirts...”
“Are you trying to compare me to Zigglypuff? What I said might have been a little similar but I actually can back it up instead of flipping around like a bouncy ball. I wonder how he does that... anyway, it has been fun with all of this trash talk but I have a match to get ready for and I need to get started on my training. I’m sure Tia would agree but she’s probably more focused on what attire to wear. See you soon.” After she got off her seat, Lise walked off of the set.
Mariah throws her hands up in a “WTF” motion as she watches Lise walk off the set before turning towards Tia, “Can you believe her? This interview isn’t over until I say it’s over.”
Tia shook her head, “I can’t stand bitches who thinks they're getting the last word. Seriously, only thing she can come at me with is my style. This chick is delusional if I may say. But if you want MiMi, I wouldn’t mind finishing this interview like the lady that I am. Got any more questions for me?”
Mariah smirks, “I was saving the best questions for last. If you end up winning the Riot, which championship will you be gunning for? And do you have anything else you would like add to Lisey or even Punk for that nature before we wrap this up?”
Tia grins from ear to ear after hearing Mariah’s question. “Well, I’m glad you asked. I have won the Women’s Championship in the past, and I remember what it felt like to have that title and owning up to it, but I never ever held anything else. The World Title would be far fetched, but who knows, maybe I could try out for the T.V. Championship. Why not since I am the hottest thing on televisions besides the rest of my Queen Bees. I am going to keep this a mystery and leave everyone at suspense if this ever so thing happens. Not that I am doubting myself, but after the fight I am going to put up with Miss Walkaway, who knows. As for CM Punk and the little girl who dreams big, once I am done with Lise at Riot Control, they will be forgotten problems for me and I can move on to bigger and better things. And if some crazy thing happens to where Punk realizes the mistakes that he has made and tries to call wanting to win me back, it ain’t gonna happen. He has lost the best thing the world and that would be me. He has already made the hole in the ground that he is going to GTS in.”
Mariah nods in agreement, "Spoken like a true champion, Tia. It's been a pleasure having you on board here tonight. As for Lisey, not so much. That's all the time we have, GZWA fans. Be sure to order Riot Control on Pay-Per-View to see the best lady come out on top when these two square off."
Mariah and Tia Brooks both wave to the camera as the scene fades to black.
