Total Divas on E!

Well, I'm sure everyone should at least be aware of the news involving this. Since it is relating to the WWE Divas, some of them will be in their own reality show on E!, premiering this month on the 28th at 10 pm.

The divas on the show are Natalya, Bella Twins, Funkadactyls (YAY!), and two new divas, Eva Marie and Jojo.

So first off what do you all think about the WWE Divas having a reality show? Personally, I think marketing-wise it is a step up for the diva division, but I've seen many who are against it, but they don't really care about the Divas regardless, even with superstars like AJ Lee, Natalya, Tamina Snuka, and finally Funkadactyls actually being noticed more.

I've also heard comments like "We only care about wrestling?", sooooo....why are superstars like Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Trish Stratus, and now CM Punk notable again?

I think that marketing wise and for the sake of cross promoting WWE, it's a good thing. In my personal opinion though, I think that it could also hurt the divas depending on how they're portrayed in the show.

People who don't watch professional wrestling will most likely still watch this show, so these divas are representatives of WWE. However they are on the show reflects back to WWE and that has the potential to be a positive or a negative.

That is true.

Also looking at Promos, especially the Funkadactyls, the reaction from the audience depends. The two actually start arguing. Well, they constantly argue.

Either way, I'm glad the two are getting noticed in any aspect. Even Natalya.

Well, I can't speak for the promos or Funkadactyls in particular, since I don't really watch WWE very much anymore, but I did see that they're getting more exposure.

It's good to see mainstream attention on some of the women. Hopefully, the show isn't making them appear like obnoxious, prissy, spoiled brats.

Of course, I want to see women actually wrestling, not just shaking their ass and looking hot.

Superstars doing just wrestling can take you so far, or so I've heard.

There should at least be some mic skills and personality to back it up. Unfortunately, WWE fails to give the current Divas either of those, unless you are AJ Lee. Well, Alicia Fox also counts, but she has much better mic skills than wrestling skills, which is...decent but she makes plenty of mistakes.

Hell, even TNA. Just not as important as WWE.

Yeah, I think women should get as much attention on the men. Several matches, different types, different gimmicks, etc.

It's really boring to see the same group of women with no storyline, no character, and mostly no talent. Now, again, I haven't watched WWE in several months, but I doubt they've changed all that much.

I think if they bust their ass and have personality, charisma and show genuine interest and passion, they should earn matches and mic time.

And not saying that I want to see women as a bloody mess, but a cut lip or something here or there wouldn't kill anyone.

You know. When you said that it reminded me of the infamous Jacqueline vs. Lita hardcore match. Now that was amazing.

It will mean nothing because let be honest if anyone actually watches the show turns in to RAW or SmackDown they see them having like a 3 minute match and go away. Probably the only positive is it's given the Usos a bit of a push

Just before the Hogan/Bischoff regime the Knockouts were rumored to be getting their own show they were soo good. Now most quit, ODB is a referee and Gail is jobbing....

I think that this show has already affected WWE negatively. Am I the only one who noticed that AJ Lee was absent during that Total Divas segment on RAW last night? That's pretty odd to say she's the current reigning Divas Champion and she hasn't been seen for the advertising of this show at all. Plus, she doesn't seem to be carrying around the Divas Championship title much on air either...

Shows how much WWE cares about the Bella Twins in marketing this show over their Divas champ, huh?

I'll watch the first episode just to see how bad it is. Hell, if I can watch the Kardashians I can watch anything right? LOL

Just watched the first episode.

Even I already knew that Bella Twins were going to be like the Kim Kardashians of the show. Noticed how Jane, the creative director, kissed their behinds so much.

Might I mention that Natalya put the girls on blast BIG TIME. "They aren't in WWE for one year, and when they come back, they get a Wrestlemania match, in place on my own?" HAHAHA! Either way, they didn't get their Wrestlemania match either.

But enough about them. I watched for Ariane and Trinity aka Cameron Lynn and Naomi. Ariane is definitely the diva of the two. Much of the show effects their matches. Also Brodus Clay and Ariane were arguing in the locker room? Say whaaaa?

As far as the two new girls, I already see that Eva Marie is going to get most of the spotlight, because she's rebelling against quite a few people, and will eventually involve Stephanie McMahon needing to put her boss mode on. They treat Jojo, who is absolutely pretty might I add, like she's a supporting character.

Overall, it was....an okay premiere since I watched mainly for the Funkadactyls, and now for Natalya. Jane, the director, and Bella Twins are likely to irritate me, especially with Eva Marie being urged to change her hair color from brunette to blonde, but instead went for red. Never really liked the Bella Twins anyways. Even when they were face. One of the twins is pretty fit though.

Oh yeah, John Cena, Layla El, Stephanie McMahon, One of the Osos who is dating Trinity, and Daniel Bryan appear in this episode, among others. AJ Lee appears in that Tag Team Championship match in the background.

Watched the first episode today. Eva looks so gorgeous with the red hair, first of all. I loved that went will her feelings when getting that instead of the blonde.

Second, I would've shoved that glass so far down that Bella's throat she would've been shittin' shards of it.

- I feel so sad for Nattie. But like you said, they didn't get their Wrestlemania match either. So that's the real "oops" lol

- Cameron is feisty (another way of calling her with Z calls her) I like her.

I'm just hoping that this leads to more screen time and matches.

Figured i'd just break the episode down by girl.

Brie - I have this love hate relationship with the bellas. I had always liked nikki more just do to her aura but it seems like im starting to side with Brie more. Nikki comes off as a bitch so well but Brie is the total opposite and i love it. I do feel like she is the weaker of the two tho.

Cameron - Its like she was made for this type of show. Girl brings the sass and attitude. And i like how they shared Cameron as more of the mouth piece and Naomi as the muscle.

Eva - Where should i Start? It seems like everyone either loves Eva or hates her. And i myself loved her. From her going against wwe with her hair, to her very none pg dress she wore. She deff sticks out among the rest. Cant wait to see what she does next.

Jojo - I have a soft spot for Jojo and her being so young out there doing this. She is so precious and innocent im really pulling for her. Show wise, i hope she gets a episode catered to her so she can show off her personality the nxt live shows were talking about.

Naomi - Flawless as always, i find her relationship with jimmy or jey to be too cute. Lol. Like i said above with cameron i cant wait to see more bts stuff from her.

Natalya - I want so bad to like Natalya i do. I just don't find her appealing. She bored me when she was talking and complaining about jojo and eva. She really feels like the soccer mom trying to stay cool. I hope the show can change that for me cause in ring she is the best, i just don't see that "it" factor with her.

Nikki - Nikki was always my fav bella but is slowly losing it. The whole mean girl thing is so played out, add in her turmoils with John not wanting to marry her ass after 6-8 months. I find it annoying actually. But heres to more of the Bella Twins show. Maybe they'll get a spinoff if they leave wwe sgain. -side eye-
