A lot of people have been asking me what's going through my head with Slammiversary right around the corner. Well, it was announced that it's going to a be a Triple Threat match, with my two opponents being El Arrendajo Ardiente and Hano Eiyu. Neither of them win the championship unless they pin me. That's been on my mind a lot lately. Being the GZWA World Heavyweight Champion for over a year now, not only has it been an honor, but it's been because I've fought for it. In all my matches, whether or not the championship is on the line, I give it my all as if it's the last match of my career.
The camera pans away from AJ's face, to see him leaning on a dark couch in the GZWA arena, with interviewer Christy Hemme sitting on the other side.
AJ, earlier tonight, Danielle Bradley, who actually goes one on one with El Arrendajo Ardiente, said that you should thank her for softening him up. What are your thoughts?
Honestly, Christy, I have nothing but respect for Danielle Bradley going up against the men. She is a very competitive wrestler, and it's always good to see her ability in the ring. However, I'm a strong believer in family. To me, it's God and family as the two most important things in my life. I know that not everyone shares my thought, but to me when I see a family falling apart like that, over greed and selfishness, I can't help but wonder if Danielle really wants the championship for the right reasons. Regardless, I hope she does beat El Arrendajo Ardiente tonight and that's a match that you can bet I'll be watching.
What about the match Mei Long is Special Guest Referee for, any preference on who you'd like to see become number one contender?
Well, like Mei, I'm going to stay quiet on this. I wish both women luck, and can't wait to see the match at Slammiversary.
One final question, AJ. Tonight, you're teaming up with Lise Starr to face AJ Lee and number one contender to your championship, Hano Eiyu. Thoughts?
Well, after what AJ Lee did last Primetime, I saw a fire burning inside of Lise that I can relate to in my own feud with El Arrendajo Ardiente. I know that with everything that Lise and I have on our minds tonight, we can put it together to pull out the win tonight. We're fired up and we're going to go out there are do what we do best.
Thank you for your time, AJ.
