History & Biography:
While most people grew up watching things like the WWE or the WCW, Joseph Black grew up watching the not so popular Mexican Lucha Libre promotions, it was one of the reasons why he adapted a technical style; he was inspired by the likes of Dos Caras Jr (who would go on to become Alberto Del Rio years later) as well as Dr. Wagner Jr. among other superstars. He even began to wrestle there, wrestling for the CMLL at the age of 22 and managing to win the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship during his second year of wrestling. He eventually moved on from the CMLL to the AAA where he briefly held the AAA Latin American Championship before being released of his contract after problems with the staff. It was then that he moved north and began to wrestle on American promotions although he did not have the same luck as he did back in Mexico and he found himself mostly in the role of a jobber to the more popular superstars in those promotions, he wasn't thrilled to say the least. Joe recently got a call from a GZWA scout who showed interest in him and he decided to give the promotion a shot, perhaps this would be the place he was looking for.

Talking to some of the technicians backstage, Joe had asked for a microphone as well as his entrance theme to be played so that he may address the fans that were present in the arena. Not long after he had said that, the tune of Hollywood Undead's "Undead" was played over the PA system to introduce his entrance.
With the arena darkened, he took some slow steps towards the stage, looking over to the fans while he did; surely they wondered who he was. "It's obvious that you don't know who I am." He spoke calmly as he examined the arena which had grown particularly quiet in the last moments. "I don't blame you, I'm not as famous as most of the superstars in here." He looked down for a moment, containing a laugh, oh how the mighty have fallen, back in Mexico he used to be The superstar, but here he was but a stranger. Regaining his composure, Joe raised his head and began to head to the ring without a single word. Reaching the steel steps and climbing inside the ring, he took a moment to think what he would say, or rather, how he would say it. "Allow me to introduce myself." He cleared his throat, stopping in the middle of the ring. "My name is Joe Black." He laughed slightly as he saw the confused faces of some fans. "I used to wrestle back in Mexico as well as in the WWE a while ago." Some people seemed to recognize him, although many were still a little bit confused. "But that is in the past, Ground Zero Wrestling Association is now! and soon I will be facing the great superstars of this company; big names like CM Punk and AJ Styles come to mind." The man said, smiling slightly as some of their fans agreed. "Now, this is the part where most other superstars would diss on their opponent, but I'm not like that, no. I believe that they will be their usual talented selves and they will deliver one hell of a match whenever we meet in this very same ring and we will do it all for you, the fans!" By now the fans were really starting to like him, perhaps it was his enthusiasm, or perhaps he just knew what to say to get the fans all hyped up, either way it seemed to be working. "But don't get me wrong, while I respect them, that doesn't mean that I won't go after their titles, so champions, you better keep a strong hold on your belts, because I'm coming for them.." He added, staring at the stage as if waiting for someone to come out although none came. "... So I guess I'll see all of you soon for my debut match." He pointed to some of the fans before heading to the ropes. "Have a good night." He said, finalizing his speech with a smile on his face before heading backstage as Hollywood Undead's "Undead" poured into the arena through the PA system yet again.
