i need FIVE.
"Well, would you look at that? What a coincidence!"
Enter the Five Count Fiend, Big E Langston, in an even more excited state as usual. Dressed very casually in a blood red plaid t-shirt and generic blue jeans, cameras find him just looking at a bulletin board, with a match card for the next edition of Primetime. Smirking quite confidently, he laughs and claps his hands loudly and emphatically.
"Did you see that? I've got a debut to get ready for. Soon enough, I get to make an impact in this company, and I assure you, sir, I plan to win, and I plan to win big. But hey, hey, that's not what I'm so excited for. I'm guessing the big guys that work here were impressed with my memo, because...here, look."
Big E points the cameraman over to the bulletin board, and, assuming E wishes for him to see the match card, he points his camera over to the card and zooms in where Big E's name. What he finds is a battle royale...and not just any battle royale: a FIVE man battle royale. And not very many things can get Big E more excited than the number FIVE. You know...except maybe My Little Pony paraphernalia. But that's not the point. Big E grabs onto the camera, grinning cheesily from ear to ear like a small child on Christmas Day. Big E was always a very enthusiastic man, and now that his debut is at hand in a five man match, the Five Count Fiend could not be any happier.
"You know, there are a LOT of things I love. I'm an open-minded person. I love my mom and my dad, I love the gym, I love me some good kielbasa...heh, I remember back when I was in the WWE...wait, can I even mention the WWE here? Whatever, anyway...some fan gave me an awesome My Little Pony figure made to look like me...I still keep that with me, you know? I really love that stuff. But I digress. What I mean to say is this...there's a lot of things I love, but this...this is up there as one of my absolute favourites."
Big E begins a short and slow pace from left to right of the cameraman, rubbing his hands eagerly.
"I love a good debut. I'm a fan of wrestling just as much as I am a wrestler, and when I see someone make just the right impact, it just blows my mind. So that's what I'm dead set on doing...I wanna make the biggest impact possible. I want people to know my name on the first night out, and I want people to remember it when they decide they wanna step up to face me. I'm a decent man, Mr. Cameraman, and I like to live in my own happy bubble. But that's outside of the ring. Once I step through the curtain, I leave all that in the back, and all my strength, all my passion and intensity leaks through with every step and with every clap of chalk as it flies around the arena...oh the feeling I get when I fight."
Big E stops. Takes a breather. Resumes.
"So when I'm about to take a load off for the day, and I pass by that match card, and see that my debut is only a week away...I get excited, and I can feel that rush already. But then there's more. Look at the match type. See anything...peculiar? Anything...strange, or...FIVE-ish?"
Big E laughs hysterically, showcasing more excitement in his tone and demeanour.
"I guess you could say that I have a bit of an obsession with the number...FIVE. I mean, just say it to yourself, or look at that number what you have the time. It's just so...pretty! And when I hit the Big Ending in a week, you know I'll count to five, so just look out for me. Take some good pictures. Show em to me after the show. Heh."
"What I really like about this, is that there's more than one man I have to face. More than one man that wishes to take the Big E Challenge. Oh, by the way, I hereby trademark the term 'Big E Challenge', thank you very much. And what that means is that I get to spend my debut making an even bigger impact. Without a doubt, beating four people is a hell of a lot more impressive than just beating one, and it's gonna take a lot more strength and a lot more fire in this gut of mine but I'm gonna do it, because I made that promise to myself."
"I think I'd like to consider myself as the fifth man of this battle royale. And Daniel Widdel, Samuel Chatman, Victor Phillips, Leon Torres...I don't know you and you don't know me but I have a feeling that this ring will be a great meeting ground for us all. But for now, you'll get to know me as the fifth man...the Five Count Fiend, Big E Langston. And who knows, maybe backstage, a few of us can become friends. I'm a pretty outgoing guy, we can go out for lunch and maybe do some Christmas shopping...I wanna get mine done before it's too late because that's when the crowds start coming in. Heh...but in that ring, you guys are pretty unlucky. No offence, but I aint holding back on you. Five man battle royal, baby, this is my proving ground. I'm amped, I'm ready, my soul is burning, my muscles feel even bigger than before, and I'm gonna drive all of this raw power right into you, nail the Big Ending on however many of you that I can, and make all of you learn that three...just aint enough."
Big E ends his promo with another cheesy smile as the cameraman cuts his feed.
