The scene opened up with Delta Madison sitting down for an interview exclusive for GZWA.com. Looking refreshed with her short wavy blonde hair sitting on the shoulders, she wore a fitted black, white and grey sweater. Before speaking, she rested her knuckle that had a gold ring on her chin in thought.
“I wrestled my first match after four years little over a week now.” Delta moved her eyes to look into the camera.
“It’s one of those things where you can spend so long away from it, but when you return, nothing has changed.” Delta paused for a moment to faintly smile. “Getting back into that ring made me feel so energized, it just felt so right. You know, it made me realize that I was never done with wrestling.”
“Being only 30, I mean 31.” Delta corrected herself, remembering her birthday was only a few days ago. “I have grown so much since I first debuted, when I was just 21.”
“I started up in a small company called XWF. I teamed up with my good friend, Stephanie Styles and we were pretty damn good tag team. But the thing was, we were pretty immature, but who isn’t at that age? “ Delta shrugged her shoulders.
“I haven’t spoken to Stephanie Styles in years, I have no idea what she is doing with her life now. I mean, she doesn’t even have a Facebook.” Delta let out a small snigger.
“It did make me think, I did start out in a tag team.” Delta grinned. “Why don’t I go full circle and find someone to team up with.”
“I can’t pick Steph, out of obvious reasons. And you can count out my cousin, Amiee Vaughan since you know, she currently is in the final stages of her pregnancy.”
Delta rested her pointing finger on her chin to ponder possible partners.
“Oh, it could possibly be the person sitting next to me.”
The camera zoomed out to get the person beside Delta into the frame. It was a pink haired young woman, who could only be Delta’s younger sister, Endee Leights. Delta’s face lit up, wrapping her arms around her younger sister.
“This girl gives me so much inspiration.” Delta rested her head on her sister’s shoulder.
“You don’t have to humor me, D.” Endee laughed awkwardly.
Delta let go of the hug and tilted her head, giving her sister a judging look. “Don’t be so bashful.”
Delta looked promptly into the camera. “This girl is an inspiration, no matter what she says. In 2012, Endee underwent treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma and she kicked its ass.”
Endee nodded her head with an awkward smile since she was always reserved when it came to praise. “I’m just glad to have my health and be back in wrestling.”
“I can’t think of any better tag team partner for me .I’m excited to share my return in wrestling with my younger sister, Endee.”
With that, Delta raised up her hand for a high-five that Endee followed through.
