OT: Credit to Heartbreaker for the reflection parts.
The scene opens inside the apartment of AJ Lee, where the Black Widow can be seen seated on a chair, leaning back impatiently and staring outside of the window, staring at the city on the other side. She leans her hand on the side of her head, appearing as though she is ready to explode. Before long, she leaps out of the chair and stands up, crossing her arms as she thinks to herself out loud.
“What are the odds...One week...One goddamn week...Stupid bitch…”
Sliding her hands through her hair and taking a deep breath, AJ turns around and explores her apartment, looking at a mirror briefly with a smirk on her face before walking to her bedroom, a large grin on her face as she looks inside at something on her bed hidden in the shadows. As she is about to go inside, she changes her mind and goes to the bathroom, where she leans forward to the sink and looks at her reflection.
“Why...Why did you have to come back? I beat you, I was over with you...”
While staring at her reflection and looking to begin crying, she grips the sink tightly and grits her teeth as her reflection on the mirror slowly morphs into the appearance of Lise Starr, with AJ appearing to be a mixture of horrified and incredibly aggravated.
“I could’ve been gone if you didn’t tie me up. It’s YOUR fault. It’s your fault that there’s more controversy. If you didn’t do this, we wouldn’t have found a way back.”
AJ’s “hallucination” of Lise Starr speaks her words like a schoolgirl, seeming like she is mocking AJ.
“You thought Lisey being gone was gonna be a good thing but you caaaan’t handle it! It itches you every single living second of your life. You’re trying to resist scratching but it’s way too hard. You think that you hate me but you still love me. You can’t handle the fact that I HATE you and never ever will be your friend again!”
“Lise Starr” begins to laugh which resembles the laugh of a Disney villain right before puckering her lips out as if to mock AJ asking for a kiss. AJ’s imagination of her former best friend soon vanishes, the resulting anger from the encounter making AJ punch the mirror and shattering it.
“SHUT UP!”
Looking to the sink, AJ turns the tap on and pours water over her face to clear her head, which does not help much as she continues hyperventilating. Her hands balled into fists she puts them on the sides of her head and groans while shaking it.
“GET OUT OF MY HEAD, I HATE YOU!”
AJ slowly moves over to the shower and turns it on while sitting down, burying her head between her knees and beginning to sob as she is soaked by the water. She wraps her arms around her knees and seems to have broken down until she looks up at her ceiling through tear filled eyes and is surprisingly grinning. She slowly stands up and turns off the shower dripping her way back into her bedroom, opening the door and entering the dark space where she grabs whatever is on it and holds it up, revealing it to be an old grey doll with several locks of dark brown/black hair on it, wearing a torn up human sized shirt, and having a photo of Lise Starr’s face on it. She hugs the doll closely, kissing it's forehead before whispering into it’s ear.
“I missed you Lise...You were gone too long, and I needed you. I’m glad you’re back...and I can’t wait to see you again soon.”
Jumping onto the bed and lying down, AJ holds her doll extremely close to her to hug it and smiles as she lies sideways, gazing intently at the picture of Lise on it whole giggling excitedly.
