“Welcome to edge.fm 601 and today I bring you my guests for the day, GZWA wrestlers, Endee Leights and Delta Madison, also known as The Ladies of Doom.” The radio jockey announced animatedly, introducing his special guests on the show, the ladies of doom.
“It’s so great to be here, thank you for inviting us in the studio!” Delta was the first to respond due to Endee’s mousy nature.
“First off, you probably get this a lot, but the two of you don’t look like the typical wrestlers.”
Delta let out a laugh. "That’s an understatement.”
“It’s getting to the point where it’s absolutely normal if someone is surprised that we are wrestlers.” Endee quipped, adding her experience of the matter.
“It can be annoying, but it's fun showing up these naysayers by proving we can handle ourselves in that square circle.”
The radio jockey laughed in agreement. “I’ve seen you two wrestle and you can definitely bring it in the ring. On the last GZWA Primetime you defeated the team of The Misfits who were the favorite to win.”
“Those girls looked over our brawn and concentrated on our looks.” Delta pointed out. “Big mistake there.”
“That’s true.” The radio host affirmed, “Another question you guys will get a lot, is your names. They’re not the most typical names you would have.”
“I guess I should answer this question.” Endee knew the question was mostly implied for her. “My real name is Anabelle and when I was a child, due to my dyslexia I wrote my name as Endee. The name just stuck since then.”
“The Leights part comes from me because I kept telling her to lighten up most of the time.” Delta jested. “She doesn’t smile much.”
“Well, I can’t argue with you on that one.” Endee didn’t seem bothered, because she knew she wasn’t much of a smiler.
“My name doesn’t have a creative story to it. My parents originally named me Madison Delta but apparently there was a mix up on the birth certificate and my name was put down as Delta Madison. Even if my first name was Madison, I would’ve used Delta anyway, so it wasn’t such a big deal.”
“You should also add that Delta is named after the Greek letter not the American airlines.” Endee interjected
“Our cousin Amiee always mocks my name, claiming my parents named me Delta because of the fraternity I was ‘conceived’ in. Which isn’t true.” Delta added in the one false origin about her birth name.
All three engaged in laughter before continuing with the interview.
“Endee, your hair, what inspired you to make it pink?”
“Believe it or not, I hate the colour pink.” Endee said sharply. “But it’s sort of the love to hate things. It just became apart of me since I’ve changed my hair from blue, purple, yellow, black and obviously pink.”
“Mind asking, what is your natural hair colour?”
“It’s chestnut brown. If you guys remember when I was in ZXWWF with the straight edge society, that was the closet you got to my natural hair.”
“I just want to add, my hair is natural blonde. I’m just a bit blonder.” Delta injected herself.
“Delta is the only blonde in the family.”
“What about Greg? He has blonde hair, so technically I’m not the only one.” Delta added in that fact.
“Speaking of family, I hear you have a big family, could we be seeing any other family member stepping into the ring?”
“I don’t know." Delta paused for a moment "I do remember our stepbrother Zane was a bit interested about getting into the ring. Didn’t he travel with you to Australia and train a little bit, End?”
“Yeah he did, a little bit. I think he injured his tailbone in one session and discontinued his training.”
Delta snickered. “Typical.”
“Anyway, last question, Valentine’s Day is around the corner, any special plans with a loved one?”
Endee let out a forced laugh. “I’ll be spending time with my cat, Jazzy.”
“I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, no matter if I’m single or not.”
“But Delta, I don’t think you’ve never been single.” Endee teased.
“Well, you’ve never been in a relationship, so what’s the difference?” Delta retorted, slightly offended by Endee’s assumption.
“Aright ladies.” The radio host laughed interrupting realizing the time constrain on the interview. “I guess we’ve run out of time should wrap this up, thank you for your time ladies, good luck on the upcoming Primetime!”
“Thank you for having us. I just want to add in, Happy Birthday to Amiee Vaughan Widdel who will be turning 30 on Valentine’s day.”
“Not a problem, and happy birthday Amiee! hope to talk to you girls soon.”
With that the interview cut off into a commercial.
