Top 5 Favorite Male & Female Wrestlers

Since I had a blast chatting with a few of you guys about this last night, I'm going to ask this question here to see what people say.
Who are YOUR personal top 5 favorite male and female wrestlers? If you want you can give reasons why too.

I'm NOT trying to start a flame war on who is the best wrestlers of all-time, just asking who are your personal favorites.

Mine? It's going to surprise a lot of you who don't know me personally.

Top 5 Superstars (in no order): Macho Man Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, Kurt Angle, and Jay Lethal.

Top 5 Women Wrestlers (in no order): Cheerleader Melissa/Melissa Anderson, Molly Holly, Gail Kim, Candice Michelle (pre-injury), and Tara/Victoria.


To be honest, I can tell most of you guys' favorites just from the way you roleplay... LOL xD But I'm willing to be proven wrong.

1. Chris Jericho (After meeting him 7 times you're surprised he is on the top of my list?)
2. The Rock (I've met him twice, so he is also on top of the list)

Top 5 Female Wrestlers

1. Lita
2. Stephanie McMahon (Not really a wrestler, but she was the first female in wrestling I loved when I started watching in '99)
3. Victoria
4. Maryse
5. Brie Bella (Out of the TD cast I'm warming up to her - Nikki on the other hand I'm still very indifferent)

My list can change quite a bit, I go through phases, but my number ones always stay the same.

I supported The Miz since he was in Tough Enough 2004, now that takes dedication! I hated that Daniel Puder guy and I knew he wasn't going to succeed.

I don't care what everyone says, The Miz IS awesome.

I remember reading an interview with Daniel Puder and this was fairly recent. He was bragging about nearly breaking Kurt Angle's arm. That's basically the highlight of his life.

Raven and I had this discussion last night and I have a LOT of people in my "honorable mentions" list for various reasons. Like I'm not going to propel wrestlers on their first title reign higher than others with lifetime achievements as it's too early to assess their careers yet or guys with that "baby boom" period of riding high of popularity before they fade into obscurity or find a way to fuck that all up...

As for Trish and Lita, I'm down to the point I hold them to the same regard. I don't hate nor insanely crazy about them, but I respect them.

Now that I'm older as a fan, I honestly can say I really don't "hate" any wrestler - male nor female, but I only dislike how their gimmicks/characters were handled or a particular wrestlers' fanbase rubs me the wrong way, if that makes any sense.

i have not watched wrestling in about 4-5 years. I have just started watching wrestling again since this past Royal Rumble.

1. Jeff Hardy - Always has been my most Fav. His moves inspired me when i was doing backyard wrestling and when i was with SWE.

3. Bray Wyatt - Just started seeing this guy. Not a huge fan of him wrestling but his promos amaze me
4. Roman Reigns- Once again Just started watching this guy and i believe his in ring capability will take him far

I totally know what you mean. Narrowing down to 5 was hard. I ended up just typing the first 5 names that popped into my head.

And for the record, the best thing about the Miz was the Miz Girl.

Welp. Here goes....

1. Macho Man Randy Savage-Of course him. What's not to love about him? He was everything, especially that voice.
2. Rocky Romero (now you all know why I added him)-A diverse moveset and pretty funny on the mic.
3. Edge-Excellent wrestler. I prefer his Attitude Era gimmick though.
4. Jay Lethal-My 2nd favorite indie wrestler. His willingness to go out there and give it his all. Performs stunts like a champ.
5. Tajiri-It's that stealthy, mischievous personality in WWE that I admired about him. He was very underrated. Much like the other Asian superstars and Divas that were/are in WWE.

Honorable Mention
EC3-Okay, he's a guilty pleasure. I just love how he can piss off the IWC with the quickness. Even Z knows how much I hate the IWC. He's pretty talented in the ring as well. Plus that brutal finisher.

Female
1. Jacqueline-Always been my favorite female. Just the way she really tested her female competition, and proved to the audiences that she can do just as well as the men. Very unappreciated at her time.
2. Awesome Kong-Same thing as Jacqueline, but she's very appreciated in WWE.
3. Bull Nakano-It was the mask that stuck out to me, and her beautiful submission, which Paige now has.. lol
4. Naomi-Her versatility in the ring has always stuck out to me, especially during her NXT days. A diverse moveset of her own.
5. Rosita-Same as Naomi. Plus, she is a pretty woman.

Honorable Mentions:
Athena-Same as Naomi, but I've never gotten the opportunity to see a lot of her as I have with Naomi.
Cameron/Ariane-Admittedly a guilty pleasure. I always love faces with sass, and not another smile and wave type of diva like Kelly Kelly. Plus my like for Naomi made me like her as well. Just wished she was heel though.
JoJo-Also a guilty pleasure, but I can understand why. Just how dedicated she is to learn is what I love, and who can't resist that little firecracker in curls?

5.William Regal(Always liked this guy. Greatest wrestler to never be world champ in WWE)
2.John Morrison(One of the 3 guys tied for number 2. Was my first favorite after I quit watching for awhile. Restarted watching right around Wrestlemania 21. Still remember how cool it was when MNM debuted on Carlito's Cabana.
2.Jack Swagger(Became my fave when JOMO left. Prefer him as a heel though)
