The camera finds Kayda Erikson sitting in a steel folding chair in her locker room with her legs crossed at her ankles, glancing off camera at something. She sighs heavily as the camera follows her gaze towards her especially bare wall where her poster of Eric Fish had just hung last week. She closes her eyes and shakes her head, a look on her face as if someone had just passed away.
Through everything, Erik's always been there. He was there during my recovery from the accident. He was there when I got offered my first contract in New York. He was there when Katrin and I saw Subway to Sally live the first time --
Her voice cracked, and she clears her throat and tries to recompose herself.
Genesis, you took things from me that I can never replace. You didn't just force me to destroy my CDs, you ruined the few things that I have left from my life in Germany. You ruined my memories, and you ruined everything I thought I knew my past to be. Do you know what it's like to live your whole life only to find out in one night that everything you thought you know was a complete lie? To know that the life you ran from and tried to escape could have been different if only...
Her voice trails off, as she glances at the floor. A few seconds later, she lifts her head and her dark blue eyes seemed to sparkle in an evil way as she now looks directly into the camera.
I apologize. Sometimes Genna tends to be a little...dramatic.
She smirks slightly, her gaze never leaving the camera.
While she's still hurt about what happened on Primetime, I've put that behind me. Tonight isn't about Genevieve. Tonight...isn't really about Kayda Erikson. Tonight...it's about us both finally becoming one in spirit as we are in body. The Unholy Angel that you see in the ring and Genevieve Scheitlin who stays outside of it...We will thrive together to truly unlock the powers of Kayda Erikson. Together, we are as one and I can overcome any opposition. You see? I don't need to see Erik to know that he lives in here. Just as Katrin, Jana, and Elise live in here.
She touches her heart as she speaks.
My real name is Genevieve Anne Scheitlin. But inside that ring, I am The Unholy Angel, Kayda Erikson. Inside that ring, I am a brutal force with my heart beat thriving on competition. While Genesis may have distracted me from my original plan, I have not lost track of my purpose here. Tonight, my tag team partner, Hano Eiyu and I face off against a tag team that calls themselves Extreme Juggalos. Ryan Kendrick and The Enigma. I don't know anything about either one of them, but I know that we both advanced in the first round of the tournament, so these guys can't be taken for granted. Hano and I might not have been a tag team for long, but we are no strangers to victory either. Tonight, may be the best tag team win. Of course, today is April 25. You know what 2+5 is, right?
She holds her hands in front of her with seven fingers facing the camera. She begins to laugh in a low pitch almost villainous way, giving away the simple answer.
Sieben ist meine Zahl!
Somehow, even though they're inside, a slight breeze catches Kayda's hair as she continues to hold her gaze, a dark expression on her face.
