*Raven and Victor sat courtside at a basketball game with Rae looking up, admiring herself on the screen while Victor sat trying to focus on the game which had been difficult seeing as Raven has been nagging at him for the past couple of days about a scheme she’s been plotting. After the camera on the big screen panned off Rae she snapped back to Victor. She was determined to get her way.*
“Victor!”
“What?”
“Pleeeeeeeeease?”
*Raven pouted ever so cutely as she leaned onto Victor. He took of his shades looking at her from the corner of his eyes admiring how hard she was trying*
“Ummm, how about no?”
“Why the hell not?!”
“Baby, I am not dropping out of the tournament just so you can pull that idea off. I should be the one that switches opponents seeing as YOU were the one that got pinned.”
“I WAS NOT PINNED!!!!!”
*At the very tip-top of her lungs Raven yelled that right in Victor’s ear. Catching the attention of the people around them and even the players who stopped briefly to be nosey. Victor held his head down feeling a bit embarrassed with Raven’s cute pout turning into an angry scowl*
“The hell are yall looking at? Get back to playing your damn game!”
*The game continued as Raven turned her attention back to Victor*
“To say that I was pinned is to imply that I was down for the full 3 count and lost the match. I did not lose the match for us, okay? I don’t lose. Something happened and I lost my hearing for a moment and didn’t hear the ref counting. It was a simple mistake on his end for not checking on me before he counted and we could’ve restarted the match right then and there.”
“Really? That’s what you’re gonna go with?”
“You mean the truth? Yes. And where were you? My knight in shining armor couldn’t have managed to break the pin?”
“Unfortunately, I tripped through the ropes and-and-and I couldn’t get back to you in time and-and- I remembered that one of the boys in the locker room wanted that red-headed number who drilled Suicide in his ‘boys’...”
*While Victor was stammering to get his lie straight Raven just nodded with empty agreements. Victor stopped giving Raven a stone-cold look before focus back on the game*
“Look, I’m not pulling out of the tournament, alright? No matter how shorter and tighter your dresses get around me.”
*Victor looked down at Raven legs having a weak moment. She noticed this and crossed one leg over the other, leaning them towards him, but Victor snapped out of it as the halftime buzzer sounded off*
“C’mon, Vic. Your head isn’t even in the ring with me. You’re still upset over the stunts I pulled this year. Admit it. Instead of focusing on our matches, you’re still upset over my past relationship and recent passes at Leon.”
*Victor sat back in his seat not saying a word which only confirmed Raven’s thoughts. She leaned into Victor again, crossing her leg over his and sliding a hand across his back*
“Listen….if you do this for me, I’ll do something for you. When the game is over, and we get back in the limo, we can roll up the partition and I can do that thing I did on the beach.”
*Victor’s neck snapped at Raven catching the seductive look in her eyes letting him know she was serious. He looked back out on the court sliding his shades back on*
“Fine.” He started as he eyed her from head to toe. “I wanted dinner before my dessert tonight, but beggars can’t be choosers, especially when I got a heavenly slice of Devil’s food cake on a platter right next to me. I can get that steak later.”
*Raven’s smile grew to Cheshire proportions as she hugged him. She looked back out on to the court*
“So how many field goals do these fools have to punt before this game is over?”
*Victor facepalms, shaking his head.*
“If I have to explain this game to you, you’re going to be doing multiple favors to take my mind off of this big favor you want me to do for you.”
