At the GZWA arena, inside of the wrestling ring, we see the camera focused on the corner of the ring, where Veda Scott is seated, leaning her back on the bottom turnbuckle and resting her arms on top of the ropes. She pushes the tip of her glasses up her nose and smiles at the camera, biting her bottom lip.
"Welp, now is gonna be the time where Veda Scott makes her official wrestling debut to the GZWA roster. For anyone watching and wondering what I'm doing in an empty arena, I'm not looking for ghosts or anything like that, think of it as...mentally preparing for my first match here. Of course, I had a good time talking to Mariah and Aimee Vaughan as two of the long time girls here at the panels for the pay per view earlier, but now, it's my time to shine on my own, and in the ring too! This might seem weird, but this going into this match might actually be a harder one to win for me because I'm going against a fellow newbie to this place. If I was fighting someone experienced around here, I could watch them and use all my smarts to learn their moves and kick their asses. Yeah, I don't wear these glasses for nothin' ya know!"
Veda chuckles lightly as she adjusts her glasses with a smirk.
"Before I discuss my opponent and exactly how things are gonna go with her, I just wanna talk about one little thing I brought up at the panels earlier. As you'd expect with my spectacles, I'm a smart cookie, and believe it or not, I did not spend my years before wrestling working at some cheap diner or getting money shoved into my underwear on public display, but I was actually working on becoming a fully educated lawyer! And guess what? I totally did that. So if any of the guys and girls want a valet or tag team partner that can also serve as their legal representative, I'm your lady! I also don't limit myself to just one person, I'll accept multiple clients at once if I think you're deserving of my services, so yeah...If you guys want me, come and see me!"
Using the ropes to get up slightly, Veda adjusts herself so that she is no longer sitting down but now crouching while still facing the camera, holding onto the top ropes.
"Anyways, let's get to the main point. On this episode of Primetime, I'll be having my very first match in GZWA. And who am I fighting? Jade Wylder. Who is Jade Wylder? "The Chic Geek"? Okay... I'm not sure why someone would pride themselves on being a geek, but whatever, people can be proud of who they are, I suppose. What matters is that no matter how good or geeky she thinks she is, she has to remember that she's going against Veda Scott. Sure I can brag about being smart, but like I said before I came here, I've been told that I have nine lives, and I very much doubt I'll be losing even one when I go against this "geek". Another thing I have been told is that I can be very very violent at times... The only things I'm expecting to come out of my first match here are a win, and the respect of at least some of the people in the locker room. And that's exactly what I'm expecting to get after this match!"
With this Veda tips her glasses once more before she stands up and exits the ring by rolling out from under the bottom rope, smirking to the camera once more before leaving.
