Note: I WILL change this deadline/date if a majority of you guys have college/school complications coming up, so speak up if that becomes an issue as I'm FULLY aware it's back to school time here in the United States and around the world. So, don't panic and give up hope of getting something done if that's the case. If it's an issue, I'll push the date to September 5 if that helps.
Promo and Skit/Segment Submission Deadlines: The air date of this show, as I will use that following week to write up the results. Deadline was changed from August 29, 2014 to September 5, 2014 in order to assist you guys who contacted me with complications and RL dilemmas. Those of you who already posted something up are welcome to add something more, but just know that only ONE promo goes towards your match. Those of you who haven't posted anything yet will NOT have that held against you.
Tag Team Tournament Rules:
- You are more than welcome to come up with an official name for your tag team, along with tag team signatures and a tag team finisher, if you don't have any already. ***NEW*** You are more than welcome to ask for my feedback for a tag team finisher/combination. I have subtly suggested a few tag team finishers for those of you who had matches during Final Encounter within the results.
- This is a DOUBLE elimination tournament and will NOT finish by the upcoming PPV (Final Encounter), due to the fact that this tournament will have a WINNERS bracket and a LOSERS bracket. The winning teams in both brackets will face off in a final match to determine who will be crowned the first official GZWA Tag Team Champions. ***NEW*** I expect that this tournament will wrap up BEFORE our next PPV, Dead or Alive for our first champions can respectfully defend their titles on the card.
- The double elimination format is to give you guys a bit of a breather on roleplays for this tournament. That way you have two opportunities to be eliminated if you and your partner don't have a chance to roleplay or have a less-favorable match-up. Besides, I think it's a much more realistic take in terms of how e-fedding goes so it wouldn't be predictable on who would win this thing.
- It is encouraged that you and your partner collaborate on your match promos for this tournament as these count separate of your normal promos for the show if your character(s) happen to be booked twice in one show.
- If you are in a stable in the tournament, you may use the Freebirds rule to swap members in this tournament, but your team as a whole is still eliminated after losing TWO matches.
- To encourage team members to participate and not one member to carry a team, you ARE allowed to swap out a member of your team ONCE.
- Your team will NOT have a tournament bracket match on each and every following show, but I will try to accommodate teams with something on the match cards to keep them preoccupied while other tournament matches take place.
