Recorded on 28 of November shortly after the events of Primetime
“I guess now Endee has returned I need to book myself in for Dead or Alive?” The familiar voice is heard over a loudspeaker on Delta’s S5 phone.
“Amiee, you know you would’ve made an appearance at the Pay-Per-View even if Endee wasn’t medically cleared.” Delta scoffed.
Delta sorted through her makeup bag while she talked to her cousin Amiee Vaughan on the phone.
“Yeah true” Amiee let out a laugh. “BUT I did say that I would be there if you guys made it into the finals and I’m living up to my promise, you know.”
“And conveniently you missed most of our matches since after you announced you were back in GZWA.”
“Hey now” Amiee got in the defensive “I have an acting career so I can’t be at all the shows. I would like to believe that I’m a big deal…. And don’t you roll your eyes at me Delta.”
Delta did roll her eyes; it was a force of habit of when she spoke to her red-headed cousin.
“Yeah, yeah, you tell yourself that Amelia…” Delta brushed off her cousin.
“Don’t get mad at me over the fact that Endee is more popular and likeable than you. People would remember who you are if you weren’t such a bitch to everyone.”
Delta’s eyes widen at Amiee’s brash humor. That jab hit a bit close to home. Delta softly muttered to herself, trying to muster a response to her outspoken cousin.
“Too harsh, D? You need to get back to reality because Endee was the one who was almost taken out. And what did you do? You couldn’t even win a number one contenders match for the Vixen Championship. Don’t act as a second fiddle to your younger sister, or Endee will be the one taking the spotlight from you.“
Delta stared at her phone, realizing that Amiee wasn’t just playing around.
“Who pissed in your cereal this morning?” Delta slammed her packed makeup case into her suitcase. “This isn't all about popularity, why do you even care?”
“I want a light a fire under your ass, Miss Lady so Divine. Because, I want you to be ready for Dead or Alive, I want you to win those tag team titles.”
“But what has Endee done to you? She is my sister and I will always support her. This isn’t about who is better out of us, it’s both of us working as a unit.”
“Then work as a unit, not Endee Leights featuring her sister.”
“Whatever…” Delta murmured still annoyed over Amiee’s words. “I’ll see you soon.”
Delta hung up the phone, ending their conversation. Racing through her mind Delta could only think of how could those words be said to her. She couldn’t understand what game Amiee was playing but only trying to cause a rift between the Ladies of Doom. Delta leaned into the chair she was sitting in and looked up at the celling, taking a deep inhale. Delta’s mind cleared up, coming to the realization of Amiee was just giving tough love. It was always in both their nature with the tough love for each other and it annoyed them to no end.
“What’s on your mind?” Endee’s voice echoes through, reliving Delta from her stupor.
“Oh, hey.” Delta leaned off the chair and stood up, giving her younger sister a hug. “Had a talk with Amiee, you know how she is.”
Endee let out a laugh. “Tough love again?”
“Yeah, you could say that.” Delta scratched her head. “She went on a tangent about how you’re better than me.”
“It’s all in what you think D, I mean – those Misfits all think they are better than everyone but are they really?” Endee raised her eyebrow.
“Misfits, Ugh.” Delta rolled her eyes at the mention of that group. “I just want to say, I really hope someone buys them a thesaurus for Christmas. I think they have overused the word moron.”
“Delta you know they don’t have an eloquent vocabulary. “
“Such cretin’s…they are the worst.” Delta crossed her arms in displeasure over The Misfits.
“Just remember, we also have The Extreme Juggalo’s in our match. They are the only team to survive the whole tournament without losing a match. They are the biggest threat in my opinion. And I guess you could say we are technically the underdogs of this triple threat TLC match.”
“But we do have the experience – We did both win out first singles gold in ladder matches.”
“That’s a good point Delta but in the sad reality – and also from experience, people will assume we aren’t strong enough due to our appearance.
“And your injury, it all lies down if you’re mentally and physically strong enough to compete in this match.” Delta rested her hand on Endee’s shoulder “I’m just glad you’re healthy again, but, there is still a possibility of either us getting seriously injured again.”
Endee frowned, trying to shake the feeling. “I know, but this is what we do. We can’t be too careful or we will lose sight of our goal to become tag team champions.
“Look it at this way, one of the chicks of The Misfits has two matches on the PPV. How the hell is she going to prepared for both matches? I hate to be her in that case. A TLC match is something you shouldn’t take lightly. It’s a career ending match and The Misfits is at a disadvantage.”
Endee grinned. “And I bet they truly believe they can still come out on top in all matches. Delusion right there.”
“We just have to go out there and steal the show and be the match of the night.” Delta exclaimed priming her sister up.
“Being out injured it did give me time to study those TLC matches from WWE featuring Hardy’s, Edge and Christian and the Dudley’s.“ Endee chuckled. “You think I could do that spear Edge gave to Jeff Hardy?”
“Those guys set the bar for every TLC match. I think we could do something way better than that, we will make history, duh.” Delta used a preppy tone to emphasis her last word.
“Well people won’t take us seriously if we say it that way.” Endee crossed her arms, giving Delta a cynical look.
Delta cleared her throat and used a more serious tone “We will perform something way better than that.”
“Better.” Endee pointed at her sister in a schooling way.
Delta shook her head and messed up the blue hair of her younger sister.
“You’re such a dork.”
Endee pouted, scrambling to fix her hair. She didn’t like it when Delta treated her like a little kid.
“Ready to leave?” Delta added in, packing the final garments in her suitcase before closing the bag.
Endee nodded with Delta clutching her luggage with the duo proceeding to leave the locker room they were in. Before closing the door, Endee acknowledges the camera to say one final thing.
“It’s time to begin…”
Endee winked into the camera before closing the door behind leaving the camera to focus on the door frame as the scene fades into black.
