"Boo, get out of here. I have to talk to MY people. You have your adoring public to grace with your presence as GZWA Vixen Champion. You GOT this. You don't need me out there with you to prove that."
Raven pouts.
"Don't give me no lip. Get out of here. I would say be a good girl, but I know that's impossible in your case."
Raven cuts him an evil side-eye glare before storming out of the door.
Victor Phillips turns around and smiles at the camera.
"At Dead or Alive, I lead a team, or rather a force of nature, to quell the unnatural phenomenal known as Team Storm. Over the last few weeks, I have seen my teammates disregard each other as unknowns, but let it be known that this pairing is NOT a coincidence. Team Storm may be the land of unwanted toys, but I personally handpicked each and every member of my team because I see the potential of greatness. I see something that I have seen in myself over the last few months. These individuals demand respect and all of them crave that ONE opportunity to prove their worth to the top brass of GZWA Management.
Let's run down the members of Team Statement, shall we?
First up is Chris Matthews. This is a man who refers to himself as "The Architect." I dunno what he plans on building but he definitely has the blueprint for future greatness. He made that fact known with his explosive return to GZWA with his brutal contests against his long-time rival Red Dragon. The kid is a former soldier, he knows first-hand how to survive on a battlefield. It was a no-brainer to recruit this man for Team Statement.
Next, we have the man formerly known as the "Trap Star" 2-Fly Kidd, now going as the "Dream Killer" Ry Drake. I don't care what he's calling himself but he has had consistent, strong showings here in GZWA since his debut. He just needs a platform to get to that next-level. Standing with Team Statement will give him that opportunity.
Then, we have the lethal lady, the self-proclaimed "The Guru" Danielle Bradley. The ever-outspoken, tomboy babe of the Bradley siblings is an adamant, yet determined individual who is pretty gung-ho in her beliefs. She's not quite on the level of my boo AKA the reigning Vixen Champion, but Danielle shows promise. She has shown no fear in challenging men AND women in the squared circle. It's time that she step out of her brother's shadow and walk her own path in GZWA. Standing with Team Statement at Dead or Alive will do that.
Last but not least, you have yours truly - "The Statement" Victor Phillips. The former VIP and MVP of ZXWWF.
Look, I'm not my girlfriend. I'm not going to curry 'favors' from the head cheese to get to the top. I don't want a free pass. I don't want a hand-out. Everything that I have acquired in this business over the last 8 years, I have EARNED.
People think what I what I did to Tyler Storm was the act of a villain. No that was a WAKE-UP call. It was a wake-up call for the GZWA Nation that I am finished sitting in the back, watching everyone else pass me by while these disrespectful rookies attempt to use me as a platform to greatness. There are people in top spots in GZWA who don’t deserve them. Team Statement will be that wake-up call to the ENTIRE GZWA locker room, showing that we are all forces to be reckoned.
I apologize that Team Storm will be the sacrificial lambs in our path, but I'm sick of being overlooked. I'm sure every member of Team Statement is ready to make an impact. Let's face it, from top to bottom, Team Storm can't measure up."
Victor gives a smug grin towards the camera as the scene fades to black.
