OOC: This is not my best work to anyone reading one of my promos for the first time. I have regressed a lot in my time away from efedding but give me a few more weeks and I promise the quality of my promos will increase and I will begin writing them at a much faster rate. I had intended for this to be released about two days ago but I had trouble coming up with anything. Hope you enjoy!
The scene begins with Victor Phillips sitting in his locker room, hands on his head remembering everything that has occurred up to this point in his career. He thinks back to his first match in the business against John Cena with a smirk on his face.

Wow what a long time ago, who would have thought that I would have been doing this after all these years.
As his minds continues to drift further down memory lane he remembers the night he won his first championship belt.

March 30 2008, Xtreme Rules Champion. Who would have thought I could become a champion.
That night would replay in his mind over and over and continue to motivate him to keep reaching for the stars. In fact that would motivation that I speak of would show up a little under three months later as Victor attempted to reach for the brightest star the company had at the moment, Vendetta Championship.

Two matches in one night, most people would have thought I was crazy to even consider what I pulled off that night. But I didn't care I weathered the storm and went out in a blaze of glory that night. But that wasn't enough for me.
That really wasn't enough for Victor because within the next month he would make two of the biggest career jumps ever by joining ZX and unifying the Vendetta Championship with the Intercontinental Championship as well as the World Heavyweight Championship.

Ah the X-Terminators and my old friend Xion. Without those guys I wouldn't be where I am now. i appreciate them more than they can imagine because they are the reason I have survived so long in this business. But as much as I love that moment it is overshadowed by one moment that happened after it. The night I became the Undisputed World Champion. I was on top of the world and felt like there was no one who could beat me.
Although Victor felt he was unbeatable at that moment he would eventually realize not to be the truth.He found out that no one was unbeatable and he found out the hard way.

Shia Storm, the man that I can credit with taking away my first world championship. Even though it hurt at that time I can't wait to see him around so I can thank him for giving me a dose of reality when I needed it. A great fighter is not measured on how successful they are but how they respond to defeat.
Victor would respond to his defeat in a major way when he was drafted to VWA brand of ZXWWF and won the VWA World Heavyweight Championship.

I was really in great form during that time, the best of my career. But like everything good thing it all has to end at sometime. Triple H made sure of that when he beat me at Mania, haha.
Victor Phillips would continue to have great rivalries and matches on VWA and Xplosion but his finally feud would be one for the ages.

The Legion, its funny that I can look back and say these were probably the good guys and the Resistance weren't. But hindsight is 20-20 and there isn't much I can do about it now. I will always remember this because of my matches with Jus & Dean, and my encounters with Xion. It made me respect them much more for what they do.
Victor then stops thinking about the past for a moment and observes the present situation he is in. He laughs when he thinks about it because it makes him realize one thing.

All of that stuff is in the past and doesn't matter from this day on. What matters now is GZWA and it is time to put up or shut up. But not for me but for Mary and her new boy toy the Ron Simmons and Nathan Jones hybrid. If Mary thinks she has found a diamond in the rough then we'll see when he steps into the ring with this old miner.

And ironically as I sit here reminiscing about the past Mary is taking a few pages from the history books as she thinks she can "help" ZX get this company off the ground by doing things her way? Doesn't that sound familiar? I guess its different faces but the same attitude. Well we will see because tomorrow night it's simply put, Showtime! And no talk of the past or future will matter.
Victor Phillips pauses before rising to his feet and heading toward the door

Because when we step into the ring reality will hit and sometimes the reality of the present can hurt the most.
Victor Phillips exits out the door with a smirk on his face as the scene comes to a close.
