The scene begins with a scene of a Honolulu beach in slow motion. Instead of the beach being surrounded by sunlight, dark grey clouds shadow it while drips of water soak the sand into mush. Only nature can be heard, as the beach is completely quiet and alone. No person in sight.
Except for one. An athletic woman from the left side strides along the wet sands, wearing a white transparent raincoat over a black shirt and matching colored pants. The woman is revealed with a closer camera angle to be the Beautiful Dragon.
The expression on her face. It wasn’t of exhaustion or enthusiasm. Instead, she was worriment, expressed by a voice over of her in the background.
“I remember my last promo. I referenced Mariah as being a “leader”, regardless of her friends’ attitudes. While I chose to ignore anything regarding the Vixen’s division before my return, and I do take fault in that because of my own frustrations, there was one thing that set into my mind for months. Mariah opening up about her faults, and proceeding to fight them head on. Only now, I see what she used to be. I can’t seem to understand the complete 360, but I do know why."
“One loss after another is no bother to me, but the last time I went through that, I was feeling pretty down about myself, and needed to regain my spirit. Mariah must feel the same way after long months of not actively wrestling, or not having the opportunity to let herself shine as an individual, but instead as a team member.”
“But why even fault me for it? Because I was booked to the top? Because they felt like I didn’t need to build myself up again, when I admitted that I did…or was it because you know that I’m someone you would like to be? A dragon continuing to fly to wherever the path takes me. Even when others try to hunt and drag me down.”
“There was a clear reason as to why I’ve set fire backstage, Mariah. This is my vengeance, served hot. I’m working diligently to leave a crack on each and every face of those who doubted me, or wanted to see me fail. Apparently Xion Zeros, your ex-boyfriend, is one of them. The same ex-boyfriend who labels himself as a “professional” or a “businessman”. The same ex-boyfriend who even used his power against you plenty of times. This same ex-boyfriend who promised that I would be protected as one of the most anticipated talents in the company, but proceeded to stab me in the back, injure me, and hold Rocky hostage in the process.”
“Mariah, I warn you in the most genuine manner. I will set this company ablaze with my scorn. I would advise you not to step into my direction. .”
She gradually slowed her speed down into a stop, panting. She turned toward the ocean in front of her. It was interesting to see the shore during a dreary weather. Just as clear as the sky. A gradient it was. Not like the usual aquamarine tint that the ocean contains in a sunny day, while the sky was a different shade.
Mei, completely drenched in water, dug deep in thought again by closing her eyes.
“Rocky…..*sighs*. We’ve been at our separate ways lately. I much as I want to support your decision to join the Authority, I just can’t do it. Not after what I’ve been through. Even then that isn’t the only reason . Another is how it has affected you. You’ve hurt yourself in wrestling before, but when it comes to the point that it has completely drained your spirit down, that’s when I begin to worry. That’s why I want to fight this long battle of injustice. I believe I can…..”
After Mei opens her eyes to the camera, the scene cuts to black.
