Time To Make Our Mark (Mega Busters Promo)

OOC: I was going to code this but some odd reason the IE browsers at work aren't allowing me to see/display colors so I'm just going to omit it for now.

The scene opens with Ashleigh Cash is shown pacing back and forth as Matthew Miles and Psycho Sagus are sitting on their hotel beds as the Blue Bombshell scolds them.

"What the hell, guys? I'm supposed to be part of this team yet you're keeping me out of the loop on this so-called top secret stipulation that you both decided upon - without ANY of my input - for the Tag Team Turmoil match. I'm a part of this team too, dammit!" she stomped her foot in protest.

Matthew Miles stood up and hugged his girlfriend before patting her on the head.

"Ashleigh, we're not keeping you out of the loop. The truth is there is NO big secret on the stipulation that we agreed on. That's why we figured there's no reason to drag you into our decision since there's nothing really to discuss about it."

Ashleigh looked confused before Psycho Sagus chimed in.

"Go ahead and tell her, Matt. I'm sure everyone else wants to know too since the cameraman is at the door filming this for GZWA.com."

Ashleigh elbowed Matt in the gut with a smug grin to urge him on since they have an audience.

Matthew Miles sighed in defeat, "Fine. I hate to let everyone down since they are looking for us to cook up some crazy stipulation that would try to outshine what the three teams in the Triple Threat TLC Tag Team Match did at Dead or Alive, but we thought of something more realistic. It's no secret that we're the underdogs in this match and we agreed that any crazy stipulation would give any of the four teams that we're up against the advantage. The last thing we want is to tip the scales in their favor, so the Mega Busters have decreed that the Tag Team Turmoil Match at Devils May Cry for the GZWA Tag Team Titles will have NO stipulation and will be a standard tag team match."

Ashleigh looks surprised, "Wow, I'm shocked that you two actually thought this through - no offense. I'm behind you one hundred percent."

Psycho Sagus shook his head, "Thanks for the vote of confident there, airhead."

Ashleigh snapped back, "Says he who lost a wrestling match to a sandwich..."

Psycho Sagus shouted, "IT WASN'T MY FAULT!! I SLIPPED AND FELL!"

Matthew laughed, "Enough bickering you two before people start thinking you and Ashleigh are an old married couple."

Ashleigh pouted, "Fine."

Psycho Sagus went back to texting on his phone, "Fine."

He adds, "So what's the plan, oh fearless leader."

Matthew smiled, "I thought you would never ask. We go out there to Devils May Cry and we survive Tag Team Turmoil to become the NEW GZWA Tag Team Champions. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I'll say it again. We may be the underdogs going into this match but we're the only team that have our shit together. For example, when was the last time that the MisFits AKA the reigning Tag Team Champions have actually functioned as a single unit instead of running off individually? Casey's more focused on picking fights with Brock Lesnar while Laura Jackson has her eyes on hopefully getting back into contendership for the Vixen Championship. Who says that they will be at the top of their game at Devils May Cry? Let's be realistic here, they haven't been really focused on being 'tag team' champions as if they are already too good to be competing with the rest of the division."

Psycho Sagus chimed in, "Don't forget that it's going to be another day at work against the Enforcers. Between fighting them in ZXWWF, across the indies, and now back here in GZWA, we know what to expect against them. I'm not saying it's going to be a walk in the park, but at least it's going to be familar territory."

Matthew asks, "But we've got more losses against them than wins... then factor in their manager Veda Scott who just loves meddling in where she doesn't belong."

Ashleigh cracks her knuckles, "Don't worry about her. If she tries to play dirty, I'll take care of her."

Sagus laughs, "That's fine and dandy but what about Ronda? You get close to her and she's going to break your tiny little arm like a wishbone."

Ashleigh narrows her eyes at Sagus, "This isn't UFC nor MMA. I'm not going to give her the chance to do that if it comes to that. Don't worry I can take care of myself. You guys just worry about each other out there."

She poked Matthew in the chest, "And NO HEROICS out there, mister!"

Matthew sighed, "No promises. I just act when it comes to you possibly getting hurt out there. I know Kevin would do the same thing for his boo Ashley anyway."

Sagus perks up from his phone, "What?? I-Ummm... Yeah..."

Ashleigh grins, "Quit trying to hide it from everyone. Alice already spilled the beans about you guys are dating. That's all what her sister talks about to her.

I gotta be honest, we were really starting to get worried about you."

"Worried?"

Matthew adds, "Yeah, we were starting to think that you were going to marry your video games at one point."

Sagus facepalms, "How did this turn into a roast on me?? I thought we were talking about the tag team title match!"

Ashleigh nods, "Yeah, yeah. We'll grill you more later. What about the rest of the Extreme Juggalos? I thought those guys were your friends in this."

Matthew Miles shook his head, "We have the common enemies here in GZWA, but there's nothing wrong with a friendly rivalry. I don't have anything against those guys, but at the same time, I'm not giving them a free pass to the gold either. They have to earn it just like everyone else."

Sagus nods, "Yep, the kid gloves are coming off. They are just as crazy as we are, maybe even more so. If anyone is going to be the most dangerous going into this thing it's going to be those guys as you know they are still hungry for gold after letting the titles sip through their fingers at Dead or Alive."

Matthew turned to Ashleigh and asks, "So if you were any of the other teams, what would you say about us?"

Ashleigh stands on top of one of the beds and acts really macho, "I'LL MOST DEF TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT DEM DANG MEGA BUSTERS, BROTHER!!!"

Matthew shook his head again, "Scale down a bit, babe. We're not being interviewed by Mean Gene Okerland. Be serious about this."

"Fine, fine. Let's be realistic. You guys are at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of this division. It was luck of the draw that we got to select the match stipulation, let alone be able to compete for the tag titles. Lightning might not strike again in our favor. Then again, this could potentially make us the most dangerous tag team in this thing. Let's face it, the Mega Busters are the ultimate wildcards."

Sagus adds, "Don't forget we have that crazy little blonde kid in our corner who could potentially go apeshit out there because she filled up from pop rocks and soda from the concessions stand."

Ashleigh rolled her eyes as Matthew grinned, "Yeah, we have our secret weapon, the Hyper-active Princess of Power."

Sagus chimed in again, "If she's anything like She-Ra on that Robot Chicken segment when she was killing everyone while on her period, I'm all for it."

Ashleigh glares at both of them before throwing the pillows off the bed at them, "One of these days, I'm going to kill you guys for making fun of me."
