The scene opens up with the new GZWA Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Widdel. Look like his snazzy self, he wore a blue necktie, lavander button-up shirt with a V-neck sweater jumper. He stood in-front of a blue curtain backdrop, with his newly won championship hanging on his shoulder. He emulated confidence standing infront of the GZWA camera with a huge grin upon his face. The man looked and feeled like a champion and he was on top of the world. After a few moments of standing tall, Daniel raised up his championship towards the camera.
“I am your NEW GZWA Television Champion.” Daniel rested the championship back on to his shoulder.
“Really, out of the three other guys did you expect anyone else? Look at me, I’m the only face that is suitable for Television anyway.” Daniel smirked, patting the title.
“I haven’t proclaimed myself as the face of GZWA for the hell of it, I’m actually doing this company a favor. This isn’t me working with The Machine, this is all me. You see, Ry Drake and Jaser Cruz only proved to me that they are boys in a man’s world. They don’t have the repertoire to carry a company on their shoulders. They are better off on the streets out on a bender wasting away their pathetic lives. To be a champion, you need to hold a certain standard to be even considered for that position. You can be popular having the fans cheer you on but it all comes down to how you represent the company. And sadly Ry and Jaser don’t have that appeal - they are the ones who need to work their lazy asses to prove they are something.”
“I’m a hardworking man - I have myself a band named Emulsion Down… By the way check out the recent EP, Venin on itunes. Daniel winked into the camera, at his quick self promotion of his band.
“Also I have a family to provide for and a wrestling career to maintain at the same time and I couldn’t have it anyway other way. Ry and Jaser, I’m not completely disregarding you both. I want you guys too to reach greater heights in GZWA, and sometimes the cold-heart truth needs to be said. I want competition and honestly… you two don’t quite measure up just as yet. But, keep trying and you may prove me wrong.”
Daniel actually looked sincere for once. He actually did want the male division to prosper not just him plowing through everyone. Daniel just hoped the men in the back listened to him.
“When I left wrestling, deep down inside I knew that I wasn’t completely done. I wanted to wait for that right time for me to slip in and take dominance in the wrestling world. I wanted to do it on MY terms and conditions. I don’t need my wife, I don’t need a large enforcer like the Big Show or anyone else for that matter to do my dirty work for me. I’m a grown capable man to get the job done here in GZWA. And I did that, by winning the GZWA Television Championship.”
“My job isn’t exactly done as of yet. You see, I gotta shoot a little higher. That’s why I have entered myself in the Riot Control match for the GZWA Heavyweight Championship. Thus, giving me that chance to become a double-champion here, something that I see as a feasible objective for myself. Being a double champion might be a strenuous spot to put myself in but I want to show that initiative that it IS manageable. I may not be some kind of superhuman, but the power of believing does get you far in life. I believed I would walk out with the Television Championship and I did that. Right now I believe I will walk out as your Heavyweight Champion. Seems easy said than done, right? I suppose the GZWA Nation needs to just sit tight.”
“I know of the range of Superstars and Vixens that have entered in the match that I need to overcome. I’m always up for a fight, and I’m prepared to go through whoever steps in my way. I would like to mention that I’m quite pleased that the match is opened to Vixen’s too. It’s a damn shame that the guys here can’t even fill 30 spots because the Vixen’s are already leaps and bounds ahead of some of the men here anyway.” Daniel rubbed his beard in a sly matter.
“Also you can’t forget the surprise entries… You may never know who will show up. Don’t worry guys, I doubt my wife would enter herself in the match despite her proclamation over Twitter. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.” Daniel mocked, sarcastically showing anguish over the news.
“By the way, I won’t be making any kind of Twitter account for myself in the near future. The whole social media isn’t my kind thing of because I’d rather leave my smack talking in the ring thank you very much. And also hearing about the lesbians do on there, sorta… I don’t know, doesn’t make lesbians appealing anymore.
Daniel raised his eyebrows in astonishment over what he just said about Lesbians. “I KNOW! Crazy right, I’d thought I would never say that.”
“Because of that I’d rather keep my fantasy of hot lesbians to my imagination.” Daniel playfully grinned at his statement, knowingly he probably raffled a few feathers.
“But enough about me talking about lesbians. Back to the real deal here… Me becoming the Heavyweight champion at Riot Control. The boys and girls better get prepared, because I’m determined to become the first ever GZWA Television Heavyweight Champion of the WOOOOORRRLLLLDDDD.”
Daniel cupped his hands to his mouth to emphasis the word ‘world’ expanding his diaphragm the furthest it could go. Daniel took a moment to catch his breath and then smiled into the camera and then dropping his face to a more serious demure.
“I’ll make that statement loud and clear at Riot Control. I look forward to see what this match will bring out in everyone. All of you need to bring your A-game because only the strong will survive.”
Daniel made his final warning, looking deep into the camera showing the fire in his eyes. He wanted everyone to step up their game and prove their worth as champion at Riot Control. The match meant everything to him and he wanted to prove he was one of the worthy contenders for the top title. The camera soon faded, burning the memory of his glare.
