The scene begins outside of the locker room of Victor “Ironman” Phillips inside of an unnamed arena. For a moment it is silent in the halls of the arena until the door of The Statement’s locker room opens and out walks the man himself. Before Vic could make it far in his trek down the corridor he is stopped by an unnamed interviewer and his camera crew.
|-Interviewer-|
Hey Mr. Phillips, do you mind if we get…
The interviewer is stopped mid-sentence by both the raise of Victor Phillips’ hand and the ringing of Vic phone. Vic reaches into his pocket and pulls out his new Galaxy S7 Edge (as Brooklyn had destroyed his last phone) and checks the caller id. When he see’s that it reads “Rae”, he quickly denies the call before looking back to the interviewer…

Priorities. Now what was it that you wanted?
Victor lowers his hand, giving the interviewer a chance to speak.
|-Interviewer-|
Well after Riot Control we were hoping to hear from you on ReAction but since we didn’t we were hoping…
The Interviewer is once again cut off mid-sentence, this time by Victor taking his microphone away from him.
|-Victor Phillips-|
Let me guess, you were hoping to get an exclusive interview with me about all the recent happenings that’ve been surrounding myself and The Machine?
The interviewer nods with Victor just chuckling at his response.
|-Victor Phillips-|
Look kid, how about you leave the camera crew, your microphone, and you beat it. You think the world wants to hear what The Statement has to say? Well then let’s cut out the annoying little middle man-A.K.A you-and I’ll take it from here.
Victor motions for the young man to hit the road and he obliges, slinking away in defeat as Victor Phillips turns his attention to the camera.

Make sure you rolling because I want the world to see and hear me when I say..My name is Victor Phillips and just to remind you all, they call me The Statement, one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots, one of the very few hand picked by the boss himself to mold GZWA into what he envisions it to be and fulfil his dream. Now with that little reminder out of the way, let’s get started.

You know something, you wouldn’t realize how easy it is to get complacent when over the past 9 years you feel like you’ve accomplished pretty much everything you can. Like I said, the bossman hand picked me not once but twice in my career to stand beside him whether it was as an X-Terminator or a Machine.
Victor Phillips smirks as the arrogance can be felt through the camera.

But you know what, the reality of the situation is I haven’t accomplished anything. Recently I realized that as much as I have done, none of it mattered because when I came to GZWA I said that I wasn’t coming here to be some nostalgia act or to piggyback off of what I did before getting here.
Victor shakes his head no before pointing down at the ground as to say “I’m here”

I’m here to show the world that Victor Phillips is and always will be the most technically skilled wrestler to walk the face of this earth and for lack of a better term i’m here to make a statement. But for one reason or another I lost sight of that and I got distracted.
Victor brings his hand across his neck saying that the distractions are done with.

But I’m refocused and all it took was a wake up call from Brooklyn and XZ. I needed something to make me hungry again. Brooklyn questioned credibility, my place in the Machine and as much as I hate to admit it, that was just what I needed. So when Z basically told me to show him why he had put his faith in me time and again, by putting me in the ring with 29 other Vixen and Superstars, both allies and enemies, you could say I was pretty excited.
Victor rubs his hands together once again thinking back to the opportunity he was given.

Now make no mistake about it, The Machine is going strong and there is no dissension in our ranks. But when I walked out there while keeping the title with the Machine where it belonged was the primary goal, making my presence felt and reminding the world that Victor Phillips was not to be taken lightly was just as important to me. So whether it was Amanda, Daniel Widdel, Ry Drake, Sting, or if it would’ve came down to it, my groupmates, I wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of what I was trying to do.
Victor pauses for a second and shrugs his shoulders

While I didn’t walk away with the title, I think everyone realizes that The Machine just got even more dangerous because “Mr. Happy To Be Here” is dead and gone. “The Statement” Victor Phillips is back, and better than I’ve ever been.
