Every story needs a villain

It's 4:00 a.m. and all through the Mizinan house not a creature was stirring and certainly not a mouse. The alarm goes off on Maryse's side of the bed, she slowly awakens from her slumber and lies there staring at the mirror ceiling that is above the bed. Her husband is sound asleep and not wanting to wake him or deal with him at this time of the morning for that matter she turns off the alarm. She contemplates lying there but her "girls" are standing beside the bed with their tails wagging and she gets up and slips on her silk robe and opens the patio door to let them out into the yard. She starts the coffee maker and heads off to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. She comes back to the kitchen and pours herself a cup of coffee as she checks her phone. Her Twitter feed had nothing noteworthy on it and she retweeted a couple of things before checking her Instagram. She really needed to hire one of those social media consultants to manage her accounts like some of the other Superstars and Vixens of the GZWA had. That was becoming a common thing in the world of professional wrestling so she wrote Mike a note on the refrigerator as she finished her coffee to get one for both of them. She goes to the closet to pick out something to wear and agonizes over it for several moments. Specifically her shoes, she takes some pairs into the bathroom as she slips into a pair of form fitting sweats and a jacket and tweets her followers.

She goes to let the girls in and heads off to take a shower. She applies a light coat of makeup and gets dressed and heads out to the car. This morning she needed to be relaxed because she was going to be on satellite radio and she simply had to be at her best because her sex appeal and beauty was a huge part of her brand but who was going to see her? Today was all about her words but no big deal she was used to it by now. She signals and goes through the drive through of Starbucks and heads to the radio station. She parks her Audi R8 and grabs her purse and coffee and heads towards the elevators. She plays with her phone on the ride up and when she hears the ding she smiles and walks out of the elevator. Since Riot Control was so successful GZWA had really stepped up and began promoting hardcore and certain people were chosen to assist with this aggressive push to bring in more revenue and this was one of the things that had to be done. Maryse was grateful to be chosen to be a part of this movement. She greets people in the hallway and heads into the room where the magic happens. She greets the hosts and gives them a hug and a kiss as she sets her bag down. She puts on her headphones and the mic checks begin. Of course a photo had to be taken because this was going to be heard by the masses but a transcript and the audio file would be posted on gzwa.com for those that aren't subscribed to satellite radio or it wasn't offered in their country.



Once the mic checks are complete, the radio hosts Todd and Michael wait for the commercial to finish. They were a relatively new show that would be dedicated to nonstop wrestling and it was a new channel. All the wrestling companies wanted to dominate this station and a proven formula of using female talent was at play here with the idea of if it isn't broken then don't fix it. The commercial ends and the show begins.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, it's a super early Monday morning and we are in the studio with the "Sexiest of Sexy" Maryse Ouellet who can be seen on all GZWA programming and on their website. As always I am joined by my broadcast partner in crime Michael and lets get started. Welcome Maryse!

Good morning world and to all those listening in from Planet Sexy! Muah!

So the biggest question I have is, you have been in and out of the world of wrestling for a while and had some appearances and disappearances but is this time permanent?

// "Sexiest of the Sexy" Maryse //

That is a fair question, I am here as long as I am wanted and needed. It is true I have had some highs and lows in each company but GZWA is where I call home. I maintain my other businesses and run my brands ISM Inc and of course House of Maryse but this is where my heart is. I did a lot of soul searching and even walked away for a while for personal reasons, but I am here to stay.

// Todd //

Well that was his biggest question but I'm breaking mine up before I hit you with the tough ones.

Ah ha ha. Well I do love big...questions. Ah ha ha.

Alright so we have gotten to know you over the years and what's with this nice act?

// Michael //

You think it's an act Mikey?

I assure you it is no act. I really meant what I said about turning over a new leaf in this business. I am still the "Sexiest of the Sexy" but my priorities have shifted with all the things I have going on in my life. I have a husband now and I manage businesses and brands and I have really buckled down with my martial arts and wrestling training. I simply do not have the time to be a mean girl and keep up the mean girl persona.

// Todd //

C'mon you expect us to fall for this? You have ALWAYS been the mean girl, it's who you are.

// Michael //

It isn't who SHE is, it is the character she portrays. I think that should be made known.

// "Sexiest of the Sexy" Maryse //

Someone is a loyal Planet Sexy resident. Muah. To answer your question Todd, you and the rest of the world do not have to believe that I have changed. It is not my job to sell you on it, it is to make you want to believe it and then ultimately believe it. I am against bullies and my "No Bullies" campaign is giving hope to the masses. It gives the unsexy a reason to feel good about themselves and aspiration to be better than their current state.

// Michael //

I am a loyalist and I've loved you over the years. I am a huge supporter of this "No Bullies" campaign and I have to say I love your dignity and grace with that little snot Alex McFly who is constantly being a bully for no reason when you have been nothing but gracious and kind to her.

Not to cut you off Maryse but can you really blame Alex McFly? You have been "nice" to others and that ended horribly.

// "Sexiest of the Sexy" Maryse //

It is fine Todd. Look every story needs a villain and sadly I am not the villain this time. I truly am in a different place in life right now and I look at Alex and I see a woman with so much potential.

// Todd //

So if she is has that much potential do you think she will pass you in the title hunt? Why help her if she is a potential threat?

Potential...yes. Threat...your words not mine. I do not want to play into this stereotype that all women have to be catty with one another. She's good but she's not me. Look at all the talent we have on the roster, each of us has to give management the desire to want to push us and it is easy to get buried underneath all that talent if you don't rub the right elbows and know the ins and outs of a company like this. Who better than me to show her. I have had success in every company I have been a part of and that is because I know those intricate details that others refuse to learn and I train constantly to perfect my craft. I am more than a photoshoot or posting twenty pictures a day on Twitter and demanding success when I have done nothing to support those demands. The difference with me and those other girls is my Twitter feed is a tool in my arsenal it is not my only tool and it certainly is not the only way to promote myself in this company. How many girls would get up this early to do something like this? Most either demand a prime slot or they will not do it at all. It is early but my belief is if I reach one fan of Maryse or one GZWA fan then it was worth it. This is what I want to show Alex.

Is she new to the business or just the company?

That does not matter to me, I did not know of her in this company so I chose to do what others won't because they are afraid of someone taking their spot. We know that female talent can only be used at certain times and in certain ways so everyone is vying for their shot and who cares about the girl to their left or right. In the GZWA we do not have that worry. A Superstar is just a likely to have their match or segment cut if someone runs over their time as a Vixen. In this company I dare say we ARE the brand so I am not afraid of a little competition. I do not care who comes to the top with me.

Just so long as they know their place and know that you have to be #1 and the one on top right?

Someone did not eat their Booty O's this morning. Your attitude is real booty right now Todd. What is the matter did I deliver the French Kiss to your favorite Vixen? Did I cost your favorite lady a title ? Or did I simply outshine her?

// Michael //

Don't mind him, it's like you said every story has a villain.

Oh this one is just too cute and personally I think he is flirting, see him blush? Ah ha ha. I am married Mikey. Muah.

But what happens if Alex turns out to be the villain of your story? She is certainly doing a good job making us believe it from all she does and says when it comes to you. Her Twitter feed is full of hateful responses to your invitations of good will.

In time she will grow to trust me. This entry into the Stardom Tag Team Classic forces her trust me and work with me if we want to win. It will prove to her and the rest of the world that I am being sincere and genuine with my words and more importantly my actions. She may never like me as a person but I am counting on her drive to win to kick in and we go out there and show the world just what we can do. Do we really only want to see Raven, Beth, and Mariah vying for Delta's title? No we need to stand out from all the other girls on the roster and get up there where those girls are and show the world that gold is in our future. There are so many opportunities and while I have a way to go to get to the Vixen's Championship, there is the Tag Team Championships which definitely need some new blood and champions that represent it well and there is the coveted Queen of Queens title that I am definitely going to take from the reigning "Lady So Divine" this year. I am going to motivate Alex while standing out from the pack and 2016 is the year of Maryse and you can cash that at any bank!

Well folks we are almost out of time and I have to say I'm impressed with this new attitude of yours Maryse and I look forward to seeing what you will do with the rest of your year in the GZWA.
