Visiting a baseball pitch. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Monday 4th April.
There wasn't much to do around Philadelphia area when Stefan explored the area. He had a little bit of a knock on effect from using coke yesterday due to a miscarriage which was another wrestler's fault of killing the baby, but he wasn't going to continue with it any more because he had to focus on matches and most of the time, he's been in and out of the gym like a workhorse because he has a few big matches coming up in two and three days time, but that was then.
This is now as he finally found somewhere to go after spotting a very large baseball pitch that's something Stefan's never seen before and he's never even played baseball because it's not even known in Germany and so Stefan decided to go and visit the place for himself as he goes inside of the Phillies baseball pitch known as Citizens Bank Park where it so happens today, he saw the team training for the upcoming baseball season.
He decides to sit in the stands as he sees some practice sessions going on and he knew at the same time how important it was to be in the tag team match, especially with his partner he knew very well. They are very close friends in fact out of the wrestling world and of course Stefan may not feel good, but he's been good all day and not even thought of using the substance again as he begins to speak while watching the team practice.
Stefan Raab: “So we all compete with each other very competitively in sports like the great amount of team work right here in front of me, but before I get down to that part of things. I want to address something that happened on Xplosion of my match between myself and Ry Drake. I was really mad that Victor Phillips came to interrupt the match to cost me a win properly against Ry. I'm sorry, but I just feel now I'm not a worthy title holder because I couldn't capture the win against him when I clearly had the match won.
Don't you know how much that devastates me that I couldn't pin someone that's a title contender for the TV title? It really feels like the guy just dominated someone because of what happened at Riot Control. I know I'm gonna talk more about this, but you settle your problems with someone in the ring or at least wait for us to finish the match first, not during a match where I was proving that I want things earned in this business, not cheap wins like that. It really disgusted me it ended like that and it's a damn shame I'm not facing Victor Phillips in this upcoming match so I can get my two cent out there.”
Stefan shook his head on him winning against Ry via Disqualification because of Victor and it made him become a very lousy wrestler who had to accept it because of the way it was done as he sees how great of a team these baseball players are as he watches in silence for a while, thinking thoughts of all, but one of his opponents because he's never faced them in the ring before, but he was glad to face different opponents as he continues to speak.
Stefan Raab: “No, I haven't forgotten about this tag match because it's a very interesting idea to have me and SM Raye teaming up, considering we've never shared the same ring together and I know I can depend on him and I know I have to face him in a match at some point, but the match tonight seems to be a preview of what could happen in the upcoming Stardom tag team tournament coming up.
Honestly I like the idea because I haven't been in many tag matches which I was hoping that one day, I'd be in one because that's the matches I really want to do more of that I lack pretty bad in experience. Mainly because of down to the fact I keep winning singles titles all the time and the fact I just can't find a partner for me to trust. There's a load of opponents to go ahead and talk about and I won't even trash any of you apart from one person because I've never faced any of you before.”
Stefan knew he had to change a little bit on talking about his opponents for the upcoming tag match because he always felt respecting their abilities was way more important than trashing them, but only one had to be trashed because of the comments last time out they've faced each other in the ring. He gathered his thoughts on the rest and listened to some of their videos they've done before their upcoming matches at the PPV and he continues to speak about it.
Stefan Raab: “So there's one team together who are Rocky Romaro and Mel Ling who recently spoke out together saying that they are a proper tag team which is quite nice in a way to gain experience from them in the upcoming match because they seem to know how the tag team business works. Very strong and well rounded team with Rocky who seems to be a bit more silent compared to Mel who spoke quite a bit about Zero being out to get them for some reason.
I'm not gonna talk about that, but from the sounds of things, these two aren't happy. I hope they will bring everything they have against me and SM Raye because I expect a lot of things from you both. I think you two are gonna be incredibly strong in this match. I don't know much about them two since they just come back to wrestling so there's not much else to say cos I'm not someone who will judge them before I wrestle them in the ring."
Stefan was just someone who's just talking about them in general purely because he didn't know them and they've seemed to just come back to competitive competition so he leave them be for now and speaks about the next people as he watches the team doing some practice with the batters.
Stefan Raab: “Then we have Mike Bradley and Tyler Breeze which is a very interesting combination because they don't seem like they would get along very well. I heard all about your heart problems which I suffer just a bit myself with Mike and I'm glad you got the heart transplant you needed to come back to wrestling again. It's not easy to come back to wrestling through that and I hope it's better now so I can look forward to facing you in the ring because I feel you are a great talent with a huge future ahead of yourself when it comes to capturing the Heavyweight title and I believe you will do it someday.
Because I heard you was the TV champion before Chris Matthews took the belt from you. That shows that I'm impressed already and it's the fact I'm still being talked about being a title contender for that same belt you held in the past that has caught my attention big time. The other guy seems to love himself lets just say that, but he shows how confident he is with his looks and personality of Tyler Breeze, doing pictures of himself on his camera phone and he has a lot of talent as well, especially being one of the most experienced wrestlers in the match asides from my tag partner and the other guy I'll speak about in a bit that is. I can't wait to see how you do in the ring because I look forward on what you can do in the ring.”
Stefan could easily speak a lot about them because there's a lot to know about them which have history already with the Riot match they both were in for the Heavyweight title. There's one opponent in this match that Stefan knew all too well and he was going to leave him until last.
Stefan Raab: “There's one guy on this team that I've faced before, but I'm gonna leave him last because I finally come face to face with a guy that trained my former opponent in this match known as Sting. Sting is one of those names every wrestling fan knows and it's no reason why because he's almost done everything there is to do in this business and he happens to have mentored the opponent I'm gonna speak to in a bit. Most likely has got the most experience and titles in this match, but I know he's raring to go in this match and see what the guy has got.
This person however is a little different because you see, I've faced Ryan Kendrick three times and we know each other's strengths and weaknesses and he got very ruthless with me in the ring last time out and he's the only one I can easily judge due to the experience we had in the ring. How are you coping after that battle we had? It seems like since the loss, we haven't heard from you. Although I will always respect Ryan's talent and credit him for placing his soul right on the line against each match we had together in the best of three series, I wasn't too pleased with the comments you said about me last time round like how you was going to pound my face in. I mean I'm nice to people for a reason as I've said before and that's because I don't want to be nasty to people like back in the days since it nearly ruined my career and somehow me being nasty is gonna get me anywhere? I learn from my mistakes and I'm sure as hell not going to make them again.”
Stefan felt like he had to finish up, but he had a few more words to say about him as he gets straight on to it.
Stefan Raab: “I'm not the kind of wrestler who wants to go for everything on the line to win matches because I felt like I wasn't good enough to beat you straight up which I did and I know you said those things to anger me a little bit with those comments. So yes I know you've trained with two hall of famers, but just because you have, it doesn't mean you could defeat me from the training because it proved you just missed out. Ever since this match came up, I've not even been at home since Thursday and do you know why?
Because I've been in the gym almost twenty four seven and it's not just because of this match either that I'm working out more than a days work. I've worked out for another very important matches I got to wrestle in the next few days after this one tonight. I put everything out for this business and improving myself consistently as a wrestler which everyone who wrestles against me in other promotions asides from this one can see that. We'll see if you've learned from facing me the last time and there's no doubt I respect the hell out of you as a wrestler, but I was only saying from the comments about the training and other comments that's all.”
Stefan finished talking about his opponents individually with some of them at least and he knew he hadn't got much time left as he was taking a very short break from gym work which he's been told by his trainer himself and speaks again.
Stefan Raab: “There's no doubt in my mind that some of you do have problems with one another like me and Ryan do here which is clear as day, but when it comes to me and SM Raye getting along, it's not a problem at all because we are a family and families stick together as always since his friend happens to be very good friends with my wife. When all this is said and done, I expect us to produce such a great match and giving each other the competition it needs.
Like this team out there who work well as a team, we got to do that and trust each other's partners if we like them or not and I know there's gonna be one of these days me and SM Raye will face off along with the rest of you and Ryan again too, but it's the strength of this team that's gonna really stand this out between us all and this four way tag match is just a taste what we can do and tonight is the place where me and SM Raye will pin one of you teams or go for a submission because the loyalties we have is far stronger than any of you can believe. Prepare yourselves to be Raabinated by The Franchise and The Iceman with our hands raised in the middle of the ring while I continue to earn my place in this company and also earning a title shot the hard way.”
Stefan immediately leaves the baseball park to go straight back in the gym to prepare for his other matches coming up this week that are very important for his career that could make or break for him before he goes to the arena and in the locker room to prepare again for the match with a ton of work out he has to do before the match up.
