OOC: Bare with me guys. Give me a few more promos to get back into form and these will get a lot better trust me. Enjoy
The scene begins with Victor Phillips sitting in his locker room backstage at the Devil’s May Cry Pay Per View getting prepared for his Tag Team Match where he will stand against a familiar face in Sensational Mary and her bruiting boy toy Nathan Simmons. But alongside Victor Phillips will stand an even more familiar face, Justice.
The thought of the match never escapes the mind of Victor Phillips as he reflects on his journey within GZWA so far. But as intense as he is in his thought process he can’t help but crack a smile.
!-Victor Phillips-!
Who would have thought one month in and I already have enemies. Ha kind of funny but I guess that’s just how it goes.
Victor continues to allow his mind to wander until he is brought back to reality by a knock at his locker room door.
!-Victor Phillips-!
Well there goes my mental preparation
Victor Phillips stands up and walks towards his door to see who it was. Once he opens the door he discovers that it is a GZWA Interviewer.
!-Victor Phillips-!
Can I help you?
!-Interviewer-!
Hello Mr. Phillips, my name is Stu and I was wondering if you could spare the time for a quick interview?
Victor shakes his head but still has a friendly smile on his face
!-Victor Phillips-!
Sure, it’s not like I had anything more important to do like prepare for a match or anything, come on in.
As the interviewer sets up and prepares to get the interview started Victor Phillips takes a seat and mutters something under his breath.
!-Victor Phillips-!
I wonder what this guy wants to ask me I’ve only had two matches; there isn’t much to talk about.
As Victor continues to himself he is interrupted by the Interviewer, Stu.
!-Stu-!
OK I am ready to start.
!-Victor Phillips-!
OK Shoot!
!-Stu-!
Well you’ve been here for a month yet you’ve already made to new enemies in Sensational Mary & Nathan Simmons. Now although a few words were exchanged between you and them there wasn’t anything personal done. So my question is how much of this is you personally having an issue with Mary and Simmons and how much of it is you standing by Xion Zeros side?
!-Victor Phillips-!
Well let me say this first, Xion is my boy and when someone has a problem with him, they have a problem with me. Now we’ve had problems in the past but for the most part we’ve looked out for each other when it was needed. But with that said, and don’t get me wrong part of my issue with Mary and Simmons is their problem with Xion.
Victor Phillips pauses before continuing
!-Victor Phillips-!
But I would be lying if I told you this wasn’t personal between the three of us. I have something to prove being that I have just come aboard this ship and I have to prove to all of the other competitors and all of the fans that I can back up what I say. The same can be said for Nathan as he is even more unfamiliar in these fans eyes and he wants to prove he deserves to be me here. But the reason why this is personal is because I don’t take kindly to disrespect and that is what Mary showed me when I first showed up here. So now here and Simmons are going to pay for their words by my actions.
!-Stu-!
Now you said that this was a personal matter between the three of you but last week on Primetime a familiar face to you showed up to assist you and now will team with you tonight against both Nathan Simmons and Sensational Mary. Of course I am talking about, Justice. What are your thoughts on Justice’s involvement and teaming with her at Devil’s May Cry?
Victor Phillips smirks a bit before chuckling.
!-Victor Phillips-!
Well of course I am not casting Jus to the side and this matter obviously involves her as well. I appreciate Jus watching my back but I have talked to Xion and I know and he knows that the intention was never for Justice to get involved so directly. As he told her on primetime, I am a big boy and I can look out for myself. So did I need her help taking care of those two? No. But do I appreciate it? Obviously I do. And as for the team of Justice and Victor Phillips, I know the sight might seem quite odd to those on the outside looking in. But I have let Justice know time and again that she gained my respect a while ago when we did battle.
Victor Phillips laughs and raises an eyebrow
!-Victor Phillips-!
And if you couldn’t tell it appears I have earned her respect as well. So I have no worries or concerns about teaming with my old nemesis turned ally at Devil’s may Cry. In fact I am looking forward to what the tandem, Justice Statement can do.
Stu and Victor share a laugh
!-Stu-!
Justice Statement, ay? That’s a new one for sure. But Victor I got everything I need from this interview but is there anything else you want to say?
!-Victor Phillips-!
You know there is, Stu. I want you to relay a message for me to Justice Statement’s opponents at Devil’s May Cry. I want you to tell them that they have dug a hole to deep for them crawl out of, this could have been avoided but being the assholes that they are they put themselves in the worst possible situation they could have. You see Justice and I are known for our battles in the past and some may say they were the fiercest battles they have ever seen. So now instead of us focusing against each other we’re both focused on the same target and that cannot end pretty. So soon the two of them will learn that if punished enough, even Devils’ May Cry.
With that said the interview is wrapped up and the scene ends
