Do good guys finish last? (Sam & Maryse promo)

With a broadcast of Primetime coming up keeping their usual training regiment Maryse and Samuel Chatman are caught by GZWA cameras practicing in the ring. The shots in the video package vary and show multiple situations in the ring and Maryse coaching Sam with his mic work to continue to beat the ring rust out of him. Always the perfectionist Maryse would not be satisfied if the camera didn't catch both of them drenched in sweat and drinking water after the session. Still in the ring Samuel moves to the center and the camera focuses on him.

You know week in and week out we come out here with a bunch of fancy words and attempt to get under each others skin because let's face it it's hard being one of the good guys these days. Sometimes our words get in the way of pure wrestling skills so Maryse and I thought it was important that you get a moment to see us not caught up in the theatrics of the business but just what we can do in the ring so you got to see us going at it in the ring. Week after week we work hard to ensure that you are thoroughly entertained because you work hard and spend your money to see Superstars and Vixens at their peak each and every week. Last Primetime turned into something I'm not proud of at all. I respect both Ry Drake and you know that Victor Phillips is...my mentor but that match was not about wrestling it was mostly about theatrics and hype and it took away from the skill of the two men who were supposed to be having a hard fought match.

Now while I may not be pleased with how everything went down, I do get the absolute hatred between the two men that were in the ring with me and we all knew something was going to pop off at some point but I was robbed of the opportunity to prove myself to the fans and everyone in the back. Now I have made a name for myself but like I told The Miz on Twitter this week we can't just rest on what we have done because everyone in the back has an impressive resume. It is about what we are doing now and I am not going to let their drama over shine me because this is about the Television Championship and making this division great again. Their issue could easily propel them to the forefront and come to a head at the next PPV but that is if I sit back and allow that to happen. I'm here and everybody is gonna know that so I am one of the good guys but I'm not a doormat.

So how do I prove myself since their drama is on everyone's lips you ask? I'll tell you I do it by putting on a performance for what could be the match of the year against Konrad Raab. He isn't all about words and insults and he is one of the few pure in-ring competitors we have left in this company that isn't all about the flair. He comes to the ring each week knowing he has a job to do and he gets it done and it will be an absolute honor to square off with him. I will have the opportunity to show what I can do in the ring that will make people watch and eventually you know that I'm going to come back face to face with Victor, Ry Drake or both at the same time but I won't sit idly by while they take what I want and bury me in the process. I'm not a mid-card only type of guy so I have to show the management and the world just that and that begins on Primetime.

Konrad they may call you "The Iceman" but nicknames don't frighten me, I earned the title the Crown Prince because I work hard to ensure I get to the top of the mountain and because everyone believes that I will be a champion that will represent the division and the fans well. I am excited that you are making your return but this won't be an automatic win for you just because you are back. You are going to leave blood, sweat and tears in that ring when we square off and I will do the same. One thing I can guarantee the best man will win that night because we are both at the top of our game. This is a match that the GZWA Nation will want to see time and time again and we will steal the spotlight from Victor and Ry and make the title shot about pure talent and not The Machine or the psycho that wants to be the one to take them down. The television champion needs to be someone that will be a fighting champion that will take on all comers and loves the sport and will take on all challengers without being a coward that hides in a faction and allows others to fight their battles for them. The fans deserve a champion that inspires people to be at their best and I am that guy. So Konrad you lace up your boots and get ready for the fight of your life brother because I'm brining the heat.

Maryse mockingly claps in the background and laughs at Samuel as he turns to look at her. She leans back on the ropes shacking her head and still clapping and the camera turns to focus on her.

Beautiful my Prince, beautiful but sadly no one cares about just watching pure matches from week to week and I don't know why I have to keep telling you that. I keep training you on not just your wrestling but the microphone is just as important and just as deadly. People hate me but they can't take their eyes off of me because I am just as deadly on the mic when I am getting in the heads of these little girls and they make it so easy for me to be as cleaver as I am each week because they are angry at something I said and it causes them to make mistakes that I will capitalize on. Why do you think I was so adamant about ensuring that no one forgot that Victor was your mentor? As you said you are one of the "good guys" and so that is natural conflict and natural drama that people will be on the edge of their seats to see. You want my advice, finish off Raab quickly and go back to what I so brilliantly gave you by manipulating the puppets in the GZWA Nation to ask for it. They want to see you get your hands on Victor for the Television Championship and Ry Drake is an added bonus that will soften him up for you so that you can sweep in and claim the victory at the end of the match.

Now then on to important things...namely moi. Mesdames et messieurs bonsoir! My name is Maryse...but you should already know that! The denizens of Planet Sexy are just waiting with anticipation for the Queen to ascend to her throne soon during the Reina de Reinas Dos and I WILL sit on my throne that night because simply put none of these other girls are in my league. Week in and week out they sit back and watch me go out to the ring and outsmart my opponents because they cannot handle being in the ring with the "Sexiest of Sexy" They are jealous because someone as sexy as me does not have to wear 20 pounds of make-up to look normal nor do I have any misses when I step out in wardrobe, I look good in anything and everything each time I do anything. These girls are mad because they have to work hard to attempt to get on my level but often they just don't make the cut.

These girls all make a sport of taking me lightly as a competitor because surely they are better than me. They forget that I have trained just as hard as they have in not just wrestling but martial arts as well and that is why they continuously face me, lose and take their ball and go home. Every time I face one of these girls it is literally the same script with a different cast and each week I work hard to make a name for myself and they just disappear leaving me to start over each time. It is my destiny to be the Vixens Champion and every one of you girls know that so you run and cower with fear. You want to know why Delta left? It's because I'm here and she knew it was only a matter of time before I met her and dethroned her. It is why Alex McFly could not accept my help and she helped me realize exactly what I'm telling Sam every day. Good guys finish last. Look at who all I have ran out of this division...first it was Lilith who crossed my path and now where is she? Then I got wrapped up in the jealousy of Ashley Wonder and she and Ashleigh Cash had so much to say about me but this is all because of jealousy that her boyfriend looks at my pictures and enjoys them to pictures of her.

These girls all know that it is only a matter of time because I am here when they fizzle and they are embarrassed that they have been bested by me. I am a brand, I am THE brand, I am sexy personified and I am the reason why people watch the Vixens. This Alexxis Nevaeh will be no different, she is at home right now all confident and I am sure she thinks it will be an easy win for her on Primetime but we all know the truth and deep down she knows it and will know it again at the end of our match that I am best. Are you watching me Alexxis? Of course you are! You will never be as sexy as me and I'm the next Vixens Champion and the winner of the Reina de Reinas Dos. I am the face of this Division and that is something that all you girls are going to have to get used to. Oh and Olivia...I still don't see you. Muah!
