Medieval Knight of Wrestling? Dallas, Texas. Friday 2nd September.
It's been a strange old forty eight hours in the life of The Iceman Konrad Raab as he as of late has been gaining quite a lot of respect from a few wrestlers he works with, including two of the baddest people in wrestling after he faced a guy on Wednesday night gave Konrad a lot of respect. It was quite a shock for Konrad who took almost a day to let all of that sink in his mind, but now it was time to get back to the GZWA side of things. Even in GZWA, he was getting respect as well, especially as he did from an opponent he's going to be facing again tonight Samuel Chatman, but there's two other opponents that were included in the match on The Miz and Gabriel Wingue. It was a lot more challenging for Konrad this week as he's watching a medieval show after he ate dinner, sitting near enough the front row of the show as he begins to speak.
Konrad Raab: "How my life with wrestling has been completely strange over the last forty eight hours with just a lot of respect people have given me in the wrestling world and honestly, not really sure why, considering I've just kept my head down and doing my job as a wrestler. Sadly it comes with a price cos although I lost fair and square to an opponent on Wednesday night, I'm coming into this fatal four way match not psychically fit at all as I got very sore ribs that's really bruised up from that match I had, but it doesn't mean I'm not going to not show up because you know I won't give away an advantage to The Miz, Gabriel Wingue and especially Samuel Chatman."
Konrad watches bit of the show for a while as he sees the medieval knights bashing their weapons against each other on their horses as after five minutes of watching them fight, Konrad continues with the upcoming match.
Konrad Raab: "I know what I said about Samuel Chatman giving me a fight was true and it ended up actually being the match of the night on the last Primetime show, even beating the main event of the show which I think to myself, man we must done something right if we showed case our wrestling skills to the world. That's what wrestling's meant to be and Samuel, you shouldn't feel bad about the loss at all as you've thrown everything at me like a kitchen sink. You are a lot like me when it comes to the wrestling business and I respect the hell out of you for that. Hell I've got nothing bad to say about you.
The other two I admit I don't know that much about if at all, especially when one of them came from a top American company. I don't have much knowledge to know about this top American company which is where The Miz came from, but from reading about him, he has achieved a lot in his career, even capturing a few titles in his career and very well known high profile matches against the top stars there so the guy sounds like he has a lot of talent to come and join GZWA to showcase his wrestling skills to be the best wrestler in the world.
Then we have Gabriel Wingue who from what I heard has a lot of wrestling experience and has a lot of varied wrestling moves in his style of wrestling and there's not a lot to say about him, other than feeling quite disgusted when a masked wrestler attacking Suicide who was meant to be Gabriel's opponent last show, but of course it didn't seem like it happened because of the vicious attack and I hope Suicide gives the masked wrestler payback for the damage he's done because I know I would, even if I'm suffering from rib injuries at the moment from the fight I put out against a guy on Wednesday."
It did gave Konrad some breathing problems at some point because of the nature of how the match went and it wasn't because his opponent wanted to brutalise and put Konrad on the injury list, it's because of how hard he speared Konrad to hit his ribs and while watching the show he was beginning to enjoy a lot, he speaks a bit more.
Konrad Raab: "Now don't take this as me being weak Gabriel and Miz because you'd find out that despite the injury, I will still fight you both to my full potential as Samuel's already discovered, but it's gonna be a great experience for me to fight against two people I've never been in the ring with before because we all will learn from something in this match. I'm most likely the nicest guy in this company right now and it's because I'm not someone who's about trash talk or even wanting to unless I'm either provoked or I know I will be. I know you boys may not know me very well as of yet cos one's just come back and the other's starting his first match here, but I love facing new competition and love the fact I will make this match one to remember.
Because Samuel and I did just that last time out and it truly didn't matter who won or not, it was about placing our asses on the line, let the fans watch a true classic wrestling match which I feel has been missing for quite sometime in GZWA and even in a company I had busted ribs in Wednesday night. I won't go into much details on speaking about all of you individually because I don't want to come across and say something out of proportion, making things up on the fly, but I'm not going to be taking this match lightly either, hell no it wouldn't be who I am and I'd lose respect if I change anything with what I'm been doing in the ring and my determination attitude as well."
Konrad wasn't going to take this lying down, especially when it came to someone he although wasn't facing against the guy in the ring, he had to address Carnage's comments and although being a champion for almost two years is impressive and he did caught him saying he's beaten everyone for the title comment as he explains that.
Konrad Raab: "While I'm looking forward on facing against Gabriel, Miz and Samuel to give them a fight they deserve to perform for the fans and the GZWA locker room, I do want to address comments on Carnage beating everyone in the locker room quote. You may have gotten so far on defeating Samuel and Gabriel in the past, but have you considered the reason why you are still champion? Have you considered someone else in this company with oh I don't know, has been undefeated in GZWA as well as you? Of course not because sooner rather than later, I'm going to come for you and put where your mouth is on facing you in an non title match if you think you have beaten everyone you've faced, you've not faced me once in a match.
The reason why I said I want to face you in a non title match is because I want to actually earn a GZWA World Heavyweight title shot and I believe if I defeated you, you will not have beaten everyone on the roster and Xion would have no choice, but for you to put your title on the line against me. You haven't beaten everyone at all, considering The Miz has come in as well so you better be careful on what you say because I'm close enough to making myself being undefeated in a year since I've been here. That's all I say regarding my challenge I've put out to you. Up for it or not Carnage?"
Konrad left the question there for him to answer as he focuses right back on the match itself as he speaks again after seeing another knight fight which he nods, reminding himself as to why he's here.
Konrad Raab: "Yes so getting back to the match itself, I know all of you will do something to get me down once Miz and Gabriel know who I'm about and Samuel getting a rough idea to know a lot more about me. I know you three will even target for my ribs area, but that's not from being injured on purpose, that's from a pure match I had and I'm sure all of you will get injuries like that someday just from being in a fight of your life against someone who's better than you in the ring. The real reason why I'm here is because over the past week, I have this feeling that I'm questioning about if I'm really a Medieval Knight of Wrestling? Because it's just the overall reaction I've been getting over the last week and months that I've been back that I rarely ever get disrespected now.
Why's that? Maybe it's my work ethic of getting my butt down to business or showing the same amount of fight as I do with all of my opponents in front of me. It might be the fact I have a lot of heart and determination to succeed well in wrestling which is the complete case. I came here to help GZWA grow to higher heights than it was originally and i think it's working in some sorts, but I still at the same time got to prove myself and the fans that I can keep this hard work up to still be on top of my game, more so now with bruised ribs because Sunday night, I will show the GZWA world that I will take everyone in the match to their limits and get their names known and I still will win the match because of the massive amount of confidence I have right now, the respect I've earned from others and being on my quest to become a champion here that I'm sure GZWA would love to have.
Because things are going to change within this company in the next few months when I start to finally give in to your fans and giving you a promise you really all want me to have in GZWA, a title shot chance, but understand this, I don't want to be handed a shot straight after I win this match, I want to earn it as I've done earlier, but it's going to be done this year which I have no choice, but to add it as my goal to take the whole thing seriously, especially I'm being known as the Medieval Knight of Wrestling. Miz, Gabriel and Samuel, prepare yourselves to be Iceinated by The Iceman on Sunday night and I wish all of you the best of luck, may the best man win and lets tear the house down for the fans."
Konrad suddenly goes quiet as he watches the entire show in peace as he then leaves the Medieval night event they host every night in Dallas, Texas as he then goes back to the hotel room to get some well deserved sleep and rest he needed, especially his gym time is seriously limited from the extent of his injuries he suffered from Chris Cannon's spear move. It was quite difficult for Konrad to get some sleep, but he certainly wasn't giving up on doing so as it took him three hours to finally fall asleep.
