A short while after the Stardom Tag Team Classic has ended we see Carnage sitting in the medics room with an ice pack on his neck and his title laying on the table besides him as Christy Hemme walks in to get some words from the champ after what happened on the show.
Christy; Do you have anything to say after what transpired in your match tonight as you were so close to winning the tournament with Victor Philips?
Carnage: You want my opinion on what happened tonight? We were robbed by Ry Drake & Amanda Cortez cause I had Gargano beat in that ring & he was just moments away from tapping out but those two fools had to stick their nose in our business and cost us this tournament.
Carnage throws the ice pack across the room which scares Christy for a moment.
Carnage: Misfits, you better cherish this victory cause The Machine has unfinished business with you and we will take those titles from you soon enough. Amanda & Ry Drake, you just signed your own death warrant and I will be the one that takes you out this week on Primetime. Now get the hell out of here.
Christy Hemme runs out of the room as quick as she could while Carnage picks up his title & exits the room.
A couple days later at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the crew is setting up the arena for Primetime and the fans are all lined up outside waiting to be let in the arena for the show & a camera crew are asking the fans for their predictions on the main event for the Heavyweight title between Carnage, Ry Drake, and Amanda Cortez. Most of their answers are split between Amanda & Ry Drake while a few mention how unstoppable Carnage has been as of late.
Now the fans are all packed in the arena awaiting for the show to begin but in the meantime lead commentator Xavier Cox is in the ring giving everyone a rundown on tonight's card and the moment he mentions the main event of the show, the lights go out & the entrance ramp is engulfed in smoke while the arena is silent as the Heavyweight Champion Carnage makes his way to the ring with his eyes focused on the ring while Xavier is frozen in the middle of the ring as Carnage steps into the ring & walks right up to Xavier staring him down but Xavier is frozen & keeps his eyes facing the mat. After a few moments of this Carnage reaches out his hand & grabs the mic from Xavier then points to the announcers table which makes Xavier exit the ring as quick as he could. Meanwhile in the ring Carnage starts pacing around until he finally sits down in the corner with his title laying across his lap.
Carnage: I have been thinking about recent events for the past few days and been trying to wrap my head around the stupidity behind Amanda & Ry Drake's actions in last weeks main event that cost Victor Philips & myself the Stardom Tag Team Finals. I thought Amanda would have some brains between the two of them since Ry Drake isn't playing with a full deck but she has a tendency to find her way back in my business which will all change soon enough. I don't know what it is about you Ry Drake, after all the beatdowns that I have given to you recently you just keep coming back and I would like to know why? Is it because of all the support you get from your fans? Do you just like pain? Or is it the voices in your head actually make you believe that you have what it takes to become champion here in GZWA? I really don't care what motivates you to keep coming for this title cause I know that you don't have what it takes to beat me in this ring, so keep coming at me with everything you got cause I will crush your dreams like I have done to all the dreams of my previous challengers. I want you to believe when everyone tells you that you have a real shot of beating me for my title & topple The Machine cause I will be there to wake you up from that false reality cause this isn't like any of those games that you play on your Xbox One as this is real life and I am gonna tear you apart in this ring.
The fans begin to boo Carnage after his comments while he sits there with a smile on his face & extends his arm with the mic in his hand out of the ropes so it can pick up what the fans are saying.
Carnage: Amanda & Ry Drake, You hear that? That is the sound of all of your fans cheering you on in hopes that you beat me tonight. Do you wanna fail them tonight cause I can tell you that they all will be crying their eyes out tonight by the end of our match cause you both will fail them! Ry Drake, I know you & Amanda have gotten a bit close as of late cause you both are after the same prize but can you honestly trust her? Let me teach you a little bit about working with Amanda as she is gonna use you till she doesn't need you anymore cause she fooled me once before. Amanda, I didn't forget about our past encounters and I have been waiting for the day for you to finally step up to face me one more time & if you think that the past will repeat itself once again, you better think again cause you are forgetting an important part in our past & your "Victory" over me & that is that you had help from your crew but now it looks like things have changed and I have become much more stronger & dangerous than I was before and you get to experience it 1st hand tonight.
Carnage pulls himself out of the corner and walks over the ropes facing the camera as he drapes the title over the ropes so the fans can see it up close.
Carnage: This right here is what you all are after and you gotta go through me to get it. Are either of you capable of doing what many other superstars have failed to achieve or are you gonna fail like the rest? I have been unstoppable ever since gaining this title in my possession and I ain't gonna let you two fools or some rebellion take it from me. So gather your army & I will lay everyone of you to rest like I have done to every challenger who thought they had a shot at taking this from me. Tonight, I will show you all why I am the unstoppable monster & your World Heavyweight Champion and nobody is gonna stop me!!
Carnage's music plays over the speakers once again as he exits the ring & heads back to his locker room to prepare for his match
