Hello, GZWA fans. This is the 2nd edition of the new thread that I'm going to do after every set of results for a while to get feedback and give you guys the whys on why I'm going a certain direction in results and booking via creative, thus explaining the methods to my madness so to speak. Feel free to discuss OOC in the comments.
First of all, I want mention that I want to book another quickie episode of Primetime before the all-female devoted episode devoted to the Reinas de Reinas 2016. Since I've been watching a lot of WCW Nitro from 1997 on the WWE Network, I'm picturing this as one of their pre-PPV episodes that was like half the normal length and was like an appetizer of sorts for the pending PPV. I want Reinas to be the last broadcast for 2016 and we kick off 2017 with the first PPV of the year. I'd be crazy to try and book a PPV before the upcoming end of the year holidays. I'm going to make an official announcement on the Reinas thread concerning deadlines and the official date for that in detail. As for this "compact" edition of Primetime, I'm thinking of that show be devoted to the guys who aren't doing anything for the Reinas show in terms of progressing current feuds and rivalries and set the stage for the PPV I would like to start 2017 with in terms of our booking schedule - unless you guys want to start 2017 with another normal Primetime episode first. Feel free to sound off in the comments below after I discuss the show.

Quick Results:
I know that I didn't write this as a traditional four corners match with all of the tags and what not, but I got about halfway into doing it this way and was like "I'd bore you guys with all of the tags" and kept going. I think I went a bit overboard on the spots, but I really want to reinvigorate the tag team division like it was back during the days with the Extreme Juggalos, The MisFits, and Ladies of Doom were all holding it down like it was the best of Edge/Christian, the Dudley Boys, and Team Xtreme back in the Attitude Era. I honestly don't want to bring back the Television Championship until we can garner consistent interest in this division.
That being said, Blake competing without a partner plays into @athena's storyline that she will more likely play out in a future promo or on ReAction. I didn't have Miles attack Blake savagely or maliciously since he's babyface no matter what Blake did to his girlfriend on ReAction after the last show, so yeah. Blake kept pushing his buttons though but the "good guys" played it honest and got the win over her. At the same time, I kept the rivalry between the MisFits and the Enforcers strong - which is hard in a way to keep believable since these are two jacked up guys fighting two women no matter how strong they are. (Laughs) I welcome the challenge though. If Lucha Underground can pull it off on a regular basis, then I'm prepared to see how I can keep this interesting.
I do regret not having a chance to get with SinCityDollz to follow up with what transpired on the last Primetime since she was wrapped up working all of the holiday and I was swamped with traveling at the last second since relatives visiting and what not. If she hasn't told you already Laura Jackson , she loved your promo for this show.
Simply put... Samuel requested that Maryse go over since he has something else in mind for Akasha's next feud.
Guilty as charged... I want to see how I would fare with a character inspired by Catrina from Lucha Underground with Carnage 's character. We're playing this per show and want to see where it goes. Originally it was pitched by Lilith Danielson's handler, but after her LOA I volunteered to fill in to not waste this chance to explore Carnage's history.
Right now, we're toying with the idea on whether or not the woman that Carnage is talking to is real or he's legit going insane. Gotta admit I'm having fun using Catrina as a picbase.
Pentagon Jr. injuring Kendrick was Squall Leonhart 's idea entirely, so I can't take credit for that one. I'll cook up something to follow up with that on ReAction or on the next broadcast since I think I have some creative juices flowing after seeing that Lucha Underground marathon over the holiday weekend. Kendrick wants to try his hand at a new character while Kendrick's sidelined.
Miz goes over while maintaining his heel heat by taking advantage of Sam and Vic's rivalry. Pretty sure this is the end of this feud here as Victor Phillips hasn't been online this month and Sam has a new program on standby as well as ❤Knightmare INC potentially feuding with Patrick . I'm toying with the idea of pairing them up like Sheamus/Cesaro in the tag team division to get their feet wet.
Another case of schedules not matching up for this show. I wanted to get another character development skit with ❤Rose❤ between Casey and Gabe since they've been dating during their downtime but we'll try again sometime down the road.
That being said, I didn't want to sell Patrick short in his debut match or anyone in their debut for that matter . Sue me, I like having that mindset of how Lucha Underground books anyone as a threat in their debut to impress people. You know, like how WWE USED to do a few decades ago before their entire roster became a set of interchangeable parts without any depth and very little identity outside of the part-timers.
Much like the last episode of Primetime, this loss plays up Io's string of losses in her pending character development thread. I know iDream is going to kill me if I spoil any part of her pending storyline. At the same time, this booking is helping Nikki Bella get her heel heat back and credibility as a threat going into Reinas next month. C'mon, I know people are thinking it - how's Nikki going to compete against some of the hard-hitting Vixens? Easy, she cheats!
It's simple booking like that is what I can't believe WWE (even more so with NXT right now...) don't understand that you can do this to your "monsters" and indie darlings without harming their credibility by losing to people who are more physically more dominating. Remember Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan were basic as fuck for the DECADES they wrestled but worked with what they got. Don't have do a ton of flips or wrestle like Kurt Angle crossed with Grapple Jesus to win a match.
Mel, you can take this idea and run with it. Have Team Bella roll as a group against the rest of the Vixen division and even the Reinas tournament, cheating left and right to get to the top. If the other Vixens try to speak up against her "foul play" Nikki can point out that she's been on top in the past on multiple occasions and this is her destiny... yada yada yada
Between Amanda and starlight's promos, they already made this hard enough to judge while keeping this feud alive as I don't know where to take this next. Starlight wants to keep gunning for Amanda and both handlers already agreed to that exhibition on the Reinas card so the tricky part is setting the stage for that match. In either case, I had fun writing this one to make sure that both of you weren't pushovers coming out of it, especially with Rose proving that she's more than a mere manager and Starlight establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with.
Anxious to hear how you two want to go about that.
I showed BulletxToxThexHeart first before anyone else in this segment the new title design. For those who are savvy to non-WWE federations, the new titles are photoshopped versions of Ring of Honor's titles. As much I liked our old designs, I wanted to go with something new from here on out to set us apart.
As for this segment, I added little to this outside of proofreading and Xion's bit at the beginning as I thought Ry, Amanda, and Carnage did a fine job on this. I dunno, I'm thinking Carnage, Amanda, and Rose vs. Ry, Rex, and Starlight on the next show. Sound good?
