Hello, GZWA fans. This is the 4th edition (1st of 2017) of this new thread that I'm going to do after every set of results for a while to get feedback and give you guys the whys on why I'm going a certain direction in results and booking via creative, thus explaining the methods to my madness so to speak. Feel free to discuss OOC in the comments.
I know this was a rather segment heavy show, but that was to push storylines and feuds forward for the New Year or continue ones from last year.
Quick Results:
Amber Torres and Leon Torres announce their return to GZWA while Xion ruins the festivities. DΔShΞR and I cooked up this literally at the last second and it worked perfectly for the opening for the show. I'm glad she cooked this up TBH because I honestly had nothing for Pentagon Jr. to do since debuting him.
Amber got involved here to save her man of course, but I plan on having Xion give Leon a second chance in a rematch on the next show. That would mean that Pentagon gets another chance at breaking BOTH of their arms now...
This was originally going to be part of the special extended edition of the Reinas results, but ❀ℋine 'ea❀ requested that it be included in the Primetime results on this card. I know Morgan wanted to choke me, Tia Brooks , and Samuel for taking so long to collaborate on this over the holidays. I honestly was rolling laughing at the confrontation between Akasha and Morgan and I'm anxious to see how to those two personalities will clash in the future.
I don't know what Olivia has planned but I left things opened here for if/when her and Morgan wanted to pick up the feud at a later date or move in separate directions with their characters.
First of many segments on this show where I make fun of my own character, Veda Scott. SinCityDollz asked me to play up her own real life anxieties on trusting others to help and put a spin on it where Brooklyn would have an issue working with Xion's lackeys and the unknown variable on their side, Blake Harper. Athena wanted to continue to paint a picture where Blake is aligned with no one and favors no one, save for herself.
A hard match to judge from the promos so I wanted to give them both (Zora Graysen and @missysippy ) a heavy hitting contest to express that. I think I had a little too much fun writing this one though. Matches like this are a joy for me to write, especially when both characters have a fun, yet compatible moveset that counters and compliments their opponent(s) so I have fun cooking up spots and reversals. I hope the handlers enjoy reading this one as much as I did writing it.
Short, simple and straight to the point.
Much like the Missy/Zora match, I enjoyed writing this match too. didgitz has a hard-hitting style while The Slammer is straight up powerhouse. I wrote this like a what-if match if they ran into each other during the Reinas tournament in 1v1 competition.
I cracked myself up writing this one. I have to thank Athena for letting me "borrow" Serena Dent for this one. The culprit who bumped into Veda will be revealed in due time and the hi-jinks will continue. Spoiler alert, iDream is the one who bumped into Veda as we have a program in mind going forward.
I wanted to put the new kid over but he no-showed the deadlines. Regardless I gotta rave to Samuel to saving my ass writing this match as I completely had NO idea how to write it. No ideas, nothing. I thought he did a great job here. Thanks for saving me from writers' block, Sam.
Speaking of match-writers, I sent a group chat message to the handlers I know who offered to help with writing this year - full-time/part-time. If there's anyone else who would like to help out from here on out, shoot me a DM to let me know.

This is one of those matches where I felt like I went a bit overboard on writing here, but I guess I have a not-so-healthy obsession with giving you guys your "money's worth" on match-writing in a sense. Been sitting in meetings and webinars at work all week and I've been filling up my notepads with spots outlining this match. Hope it was worth the wait for "The Iceman" Konrad Raab , Sam, Mel, Patrick , Carnage , and Ry.
I ended it with it "looking like" Miz was getting a title shot against Ry while at the same time keeping his infamous streak intact since I know Raab wants to be the one who ends it as part of their feud. The one spot where Ry dives out of the ring and every moves out of the way was something I could totally picture heel Seth Rollins doing so I just threw that in there for a comedy spot. All in all, I was trying to keep things organized where it's still Carnage and Amanda against Ry and Rex, while leaving a possible feud between Raab and Amanda on the table for the future and keeping these new tag teams of Raab/Sam and Miz/Jayson going to put some new life in the tag team division.
Hell, I could honestly see all of these teams going for the tag team titles at some point, even the dysfunctional team of Amanda and Carnage. Hmmm...
