If you missed the full show, it's up in its entirety here: gzwa.proboards.com/thread/3761/livewire-2-13-17-o2a
As you're reading, keep in mind that this is NOT a televised show in kayfabe. It's just a live event with the fans in attendance there to see what transpired. So, character development is understood as completely private while interviews and promos are understood as being in front of the fans there.
Unlike the Primetime discussion thread I'm just going to ask for continued feedback on this revival of Livewire. Did you guys like the new format? Or did you want to go back to the tired and true method? I know there was a lot of confusion for the first card since this is something different, but I'm anxious to hear feedback from you guys.
As usual, I'm going to continue to provide the methods behind my madness so to speak on the results:
- Foxy went over to give Team Bella (❤Knightmare INC ) some momentum going into Primetime, while at the same time, I'm planting the seeds for furthering the hatred between @missysippy and Susie Price 's feud.
- This match was a bit more tricky I have to admit. I'll be honest that I booked it to mess with ❀ℋine 'ea❀ and DΔShΞR since we never got to see a conclusion to their feud when they were in the fed last even though it was detailed on what happened in Amber's bit. Figured a loss wouldn't hurt Amber anyway, given what we have planned in her storyline that's coming up.
- The screwjob finish in the tag title match keeps the MisFits in the title conversation - at least Casey (❤Rose❤ ) like she wants to with Gabe while at the same time, Laura (Laura Jackson ) is free to pursue singles accolades without breaking up the MisFits. Regardless, the Enforcers have made a statement and issued the challenge to any and all tag teams to set the stage for what I aiming for will be tag team turmoil at the upcoming PPV.
- Simply put, the ordeal between Carnage and BulletxToxThexHeart just leads into the contract signing for Primetime while Miz and Jayson Heagerty hand Rex his first defeat in a non-televised broadcast by some "unorthodox" tactics.

Well, tbh, I like this format with posting the rps in one thread and the short results are cool too. This way the writing isn't so much work and they're up in time. It's awesome.

Guess I will be the Debbie Downer here.
Not a big fan of Livewire as I have no idea what the goal is for it or why it is a thing. The description you gave above makes it seem like the results of matches and anything that really transpired are off the books, as in possibly can't be used in future promos or something (as in you decide who wins or loses - not who promos), as it was just for the fans in that particular venue (not televised), however at the same time you are pushing storylines using Livewire.
Not getting it. I don't even think people role played/promo'd for it except my opponent? I had no idea I was even in the match. Nobody told me or anything.
I'd suggest a better explanation for it to all members. I'd also suggest you do a signup thread each week so that people can sign up to be booked on the show, instead of auto-booking people. Sorry, just a efed pet peeve of mine - hate being booked and not aware of it.

I hate the whole sign up to be booked option more than anything cos it kinda sucks the fun out of this game when you want to be booked. I love being auto booked as it's more fun that way than to choose when to be booked.
Besides majority of the feds auto book you're characters anyway. There are some who do that system, but I'd never sign up cos unless I tell staff not to book me like in this case with the two shows, I should always be booked cos otherwise, what's the point of being here if you select when you want to be booked?
The only thing I could suggest is the whole bi weekly/weekly bookings thread. I don't think it's that hard to tell Xion to not be booked if you don't want to. Honestly, I'd leave this fed if the option of being booked system is here cos I wouldn't do it.
How can you not know when you're booked when it clearly states on the cards? As soon as I saw the Primetime card show was out with my character's name on it, I PMed Xion straight away to not book me on that show cos of family stuff and he removed it. Always look at the cards for when you're character is booked.
Maybe it's the no new posts icon on the board that got you confused as I have told Xion to sort them out.

I think it's not so difficult to see if you are booked or not. Just look at the match card, LOL. I think Livewire is a great way to kill the time between the main shows. Even though I'm not a big fan of character developing rps, it's for some people great and then can write here about their char. Otherwise you can just post a normal promo.
Anyway, I like the whole thing and it makes it more interesting here. LOL, I don't understandhow Z decides who wins the matches, but tbh, I also don't care much. For me it doesn't count that the person who wrote the 'best' or longest rp wins. It's more important that the result fits to the storylines of the involved persons and this happens here perfect. :)

First and foremost, I apologize to @missysippy that she didn't know that she was even booked on this card. Secondly, this version of Livewire is pretty much something to give members something to do between Primetime episodes that requested something to keep things active around here between Primetime episodes. The point of or rather of Livewire is to act as character development since I had a few members ask for an outlet to do so that wasn't part of Primetime. For sake of kayfabe, Livewire in this iteration is a house show and understood as not televised. Much like the ReAction post-show thread, it's completely optional to participate in. To make a long story short, it's an experiment that's two episodes in from its creation. That's why I ask you guys' feedback on this every week for we can iron it out. I want to make the second show format better. Simply put, if the unanimous verdict is that people don't like it then we'll just scrap Livewire completely and go back to 2 Primetime episodes per month and keep it simple then. Whether you like it or hate it, I want to hear this feedback to improve upon it. If you don't want to be booked for a show when the card previews are posted if you have something come up, then that's perfectly fine - I have absolutely no problem with that. Samuel, "The Iceman" Konrad Raab, Laura Jackson and ❤Rose❤ are really good at keeping me in the know about what they have going on - RL concerns, other things on their agendas in other feds and what not. Perfect example? Raab saw that I booked them for the upcoming Primetime and immediately gave me a heads up/reminder that he requested that time off and I changed the card without any issue. I'm open to the booking thread idea BTW.

To piggyback off of that, this is also to give more breathing time for the match writers and let the members have better opportunities to write RPs and, like they've said, develop characters and any potential feuds. Something to keep the forum active and continue to promote on social media, because Primetime takes a while to code and post on Xion Zeros's end. It's considered a house show. Much like WWE, the story continuation isn't meant to be there, but it can be included. Much like WWE, this is testing the water with characters and some feuds. Might I mention that we've actually made threads asking if members wanted to participate in Livewire. However, I can agree that members should be more aware of being booked on Livewire, but much of that has to do with either members not being tagged on the Livewire match card, or the new Desktop layout doesn't show that new threads and replies have been posted. The latter is being worked on from a developing standpoint, but the former can be a remedy for that. I'm able to see new replies on my phone, so I don't have a big issue with it, but it could be helpful to desktop users at the moment until the feature gets fixed. Primetime is different, because there is always a guarantee that every active member will be booked.

To answer Raab and Amanda's question..."how did I not know I was booked"/ Pretty fucking simple. I have a life and it's busy. I told Zion before I even joined the renias tournament that I won't have much time to post roleplays, and asked what type of format they run. At the time, I think, she said Primetime and told me how it was booked. It allowed me enough time to participate in, so I said yes to doing Primetime but stressed I might not be able to get roleplays in on time sometimes given my IRL schedule and other fed duties elsewhere.
I assumed any other fed related stuff as far as shows goes wouldn't include me. I actually thought Livewire was a dead thread when I did check it prior to the recent results, as hardly ANYBODY posted ANYTHING in it recently. So if I think a thread is dead because IT LOOKS LIKE IT why would I come on here and check it constantly, especially when I don't have a lot of time?

Look, I'm going to say this to everyone here. We all make mistakes. I'm owning up to mine by not keeping in mind that Missy DID let me know when she signed up that she was pretty busy when I made the card. Missy's NOT the bad guy here, so lay off. I'm the one in the wrong.
I'll remedy this situation by trashing this whole concept altogether to end this unnecessary arguing back and forth, but we'll maintain the house show format in which there will be a sign-up thread for those who wish to be booked on that show. Yes, I'm going to chunk this "experiment" with Livewire as a failure and merely go back to 2 Primetime episodes per month for simplicity. More details on how the house shows will be continued in a mass-PM.
In retrospect, I should've explained Livewire better when I cooked up this new direction for it in the first place anyway, so in hindsight I only have the confusion that this situation caused and the confusion surrounding this concept on myself as well.

I wouldn't scrap it if I were you. There's more people who like than those who don't. I just wasn't clear on the intent of it is all. Like I said, I have other feds that I'm a veteran in and duties within those feds outside of just role playing, plus I have a busy life and work, so those take priority since I am pretty new here, and I had no idea Livewire was a new thing, as it seemed like a dead thread (hence why would I ever check it again to see if I'm booked).
Not sure how this go into an argument nor how people saw that I said I was busier than them lol. Never said that.
