Inside of the science centre. Hartford, Connecticut. Sunday 12th March.
It's been sometime since Konrad had stepped into a GZWA ring as he'd needed to take some time out, but the problem with it is he still was feeling like he's being someone he's not right now which is clearly affecting his work now as well as out of the ring. However, it's for a different reason in GZWA as it's down to what happened in his last set of matches with Amanda and Rose Cortez. Now of course he knows he's got to face one of the Cortez's again, but Amanda's sibling rather than Amanda herself.
Considering all of that, he appeared inside of a science centre where there's lots of things you can do while being in there with building bikes, seeing lots of dinosaur heads and even seeing bicycle runs here for excise, but there's one thing he's standing in front of right now, spaceman overalls. It's exactly how he's been feeling like out of space lost in his mind, but he gets down to business.
Konrad Raab: "Looks like apart from Jayson Heagerty, everyone else who's in this preview tag team title match I've never encountered with before. That's very exciting to see all of these teams wanting to make an impact, including Samuel who of course hasn't been around as of late due to other commitments he has, but I have nothing, but respect for him as he maybe a model, but at least he takes wrestling business seriously.
Yeah you could say it's a little shot at Amanda, but she's been bugging me so much I had to say something. Moving on, I think it's great me and Samuel have the chance to be tag champions because honestly, it's something I've had the least amount of success with in the wrestling business. It's not cos I don't want to be in the tag team division, it's all down to finding a dependable member that's been the main problem, but I don't now cos I found a member who's dependable like Samuel himself."
He stops to take a little bit of a breather as he drinks some water he had in his pocket before he looks right back at the spaceman overalls, reminding him of how lost he was in his mind, trying so hard to shake the whole thing off.
Konrad Raab: "Since there's a few opponents to face in this upcoming battle royal, I'm obviously going to speak about them one by one, even if I have no history with anybody in this match apart from one, but I get to him later. Right now though I think I'll address the tag champion G-Money Briggs. It's really impressive to say you and Dequan defeated both Casey and Laura for the tag titles. Really impressive considering these girls held the title near enough a year.
But sooner rather than later, you have to prove yourself as a singles wrestler as I rarely seen you in action in singles division that is and although you'll have your tag partner with you at ringside, I don't think there's gonna be anything you can do to eliminate me and majority of the others in the battle royal match without your partner assisting you. I'm just not sure what else to say really because we've never clashed heads, but something I take great pride in on facing against new people."
Konrad nodded as he realised one of the things he loved about the wrestling business on facing and learning about different people in his matches and if he's faced them before, he'll always find something new about them, but that's for a little later on today as he addresses the next opponent in the match.
Konrad Raab: "Speaking of someone who's got to prove to themselves, Casey Cortez has to as well. Not sure why she's got a new tag team partner of Gabriel, but can't go wrong with that choice as Gabriel is an extremely talented wrestler. Believe me, I've faced him a few times here and he brings the fight towards each one of his opponents he faces, but I can't trust you just solely on the fact on being Amanda's sibling. I know you are different to Amanda, but the way you acted on twitter to me convinced me you are partly different in terms of actually wanting to win matches and partly like her for running your mouth towards me.
Like how you'll make me suffer in pain. It's something I'm totally aware of with that being my part of my weakness as I'm really bad on not coping with pain, but I allow you to try it because if you are anything like your sibling, you'll see for yourself what happens when you brag about wins you don't deserve. You'd get knocked down and I'm sure Gabriel would agree with me as well, but I just want to win this match as I have no problems eliminating a Cortez wrestler out of the ring as there's no submissions in this world of battle royals, just throwing you over the top rope."
He was only having a very short talk about the wrestlers he's facing just down to lack of history with them and he walks away from the spaceman overalls area to look towards dinosaur statues that are near enough covered everywhere you see them in the Science centre and he feels he acts like a dinosaur lately with the amount of anger he built up after hiding it for so long and in many ways was now scared of accepting anger in his life.
Konrad Raab: "I do however give a lot of credit to Leon who had to work his butt off to get a signed GZWA contract and honestly, I wish a lot of wrestling companies would force you to do that on having a match for contracts and especially over the Mexican masked dude, it's a fantastic achievement for a relatively small wrestler. I never underestimate him because of that and he's pretty much a wrestler that reminds me a lot like one of my trainees I had, Shawn Young being a high flyer, risking everything to get a win.
Fact is I can't hate on someone like him because he has more passion for wrestling than majority of you in this match. Heck, I even consider him quite a major threat both in this match and the tag title match overall. Very skilled and talented guy. I'm not even daring to trash on this guy because he clearly doesn't deserve that, but what he deserves is respect and giving my applause to overcome a major goal to place himself in this match and that's why he's earned him and his tag partner Amber the tag titles. I can't wait to see what you got in this upcoming battle royal match and I'll wish you all the best and if I don't win, I expect you will."
It was no question on Konrad having to respect something like that, even if all the other wrestlers don't see it that way, although he knows he's had the least matches in GZWA out of everyone, it's still an important match for him to get in this spot for the short amount of time. He looks at the Tyrannosaurs Rex statue, knowing he's becoming just like that in his mind, but he continues with the last guy he indeed had a lot of history with, more than all the others in the match.
Konrad Raab: "Of course me and Jayson Heagerty have had a lot of history together, especially when it comes to the one and only wrestler in history that's defeated me clean on Miz himself. Fact is he and Miz never got along at first, purely hated each other like anything, but that's totally changed in Jayson as of late as now, they've grown into a unit of wanting to team together. I know as well he's defeated Samuel in a match as well which makes me view him as a threat in this match as well as Leon.
But I'm so very different to Samuel in matches Jayson. You can let your sidekick talk about wanting to give me revenge for interrupting his match for the GZWA title, but fact is he interrupted my matches a few times in the past. He's pissed me off in the past, not lately as those reigns go to Amanda, but he's been calling me out for a match and I guess it's partly getting done about it when we're placed ourselves in the tag team hunt, but the loss he gave me hit me pretty hard, harder than I'd like to admit, but we've not had many matches against each other apart from tag matches so yeah, I do feel your talented and I'm indeed viewing you as a threat."
Konrad pauses as his mouth gets dry as he gets a bottle of water out of his pocket again and takes large amount of sips on the water and speaks again.
Konrad Raab: "But you've never faced me by yourself without Miz around you and I still feel Miz is a bad example of a role model I feel he has around you. It's of course the skills you have along with the win against Samuel that interests me, but did you beat him fairly? I think the answer to that is no and I'll be the one to sort that mess out by eliminating you over the top rope. Yeah you defeated Samuel, but you've never defeated or faced me by yourself. I bet you learned a lot from facing me and I hope you'll take in the feedback I've given you after the tag match to improve yourself as a wrestler.
As I want to end this video by saying, all of you have your strengths and weaknesses pretty much like myself, but it's not hidden anymore that the reason why I've showed you a spaceman overalls and this Tyrannosaurs Rex statue is because it's how I feel right now. I feel lost in my head on the changes that are happening to me and feel like I've snapped. If you watch my PPV match in SupremeCW, you'd see exactly what I mean, but I'm not gonna let it beat me.
I can't afford to lose because I'm sick of it and I need to win this match so bad and I'll do that by being the last person standing in the battle royal and be stamping the mark as being a true number one contender for the tag titles along with Samuel as well. Tomorrow night in Uncasville, Connecticut, everyone is gonna be prepared to be Iceinated by The Iceman."
Konrad looks around the Science Centre for a little bit longer as he's trying to put a smiling face towards the cameras the entire time, but all he could think about was the time he completely snapped out of rage, but he knows at the same time, this GZWA match will make a complete difference to him and getting back how he was before he became someone he's not. He eventually leaves the Science Centre fifteen minutes later to head back to Uncasville to go straight off to sleep as he's not had enough of sleep lately due to his nightmares he's been having.
