Diving and climbing up an iced pool. Rosemont, Illinois. Monday 29th May.
It was a day where Konrad knew he had to change something within himself to be loosen himself a little bit, although that's been proving difficult after the news has come out with Chris Richards signing Konrad's name down for the Taking Hold Of Flame rumble on Sunday without Konrad realising it happened. He really needed to do something that represented him to cheer himself up with the under going stress he's going through with that match. Of course everyone knows where Konrad usually stands with another weapons match.
But the Regan Street match he had a while ago changed that, it changed his mindset towards weapons matches that he'll do them, but in very very rare circumstances like the match he and Samuel are having against The Enforcers for an example. He knew he and Samuel would have to defend the title and where he is with the diving pool was apart of the match he's going to be in with climbing up and falling down. Except the pool wasn't full of water, it was full of ice which took the workers days to get some ice for Konrad to finally have some fun he needed after the bust up he had with Chris.
He's already wearing blue trunks while standing on top of the diving ramp with the GZWA camera crew standing there holding the camera towards Konrad as he starts talking with microphones attached to the diving posts.
Konrad Raab: "Oh, what's Konrad doing on this diving board is what you lot are wondering? Well of course this is not a normal tag match, although I kinda wish it was, but it's a lot to do with the tag team match being a ladder match. Now I know I've just overcome my fears of using weapons in matches thanks to the match I had with Regan Street a while ago, but damn you want to face us in a ladder match like right away? OK, that's fine with me, but you're making a massive mistake guys.
A mistake that's very costly to your careers because I've discovered something in myself during that Regan Street match where it was in a hardcore environment and it turns out I can get angry very easily and become very dangerous. I'm still discovering that part of myself of why it happens, but I'm not afraid of matches like this anymore so you can already take that fact out of the book."
He knows his opponents don't really have a clue what Konrad's doing as he bounces on the diving board and jumps into the ice pool, feeling really cold as he smiles, having a ton of fun for a little while as he jumps in the ice diving pool six more times before he climbs back up on the diving board, going a step higher than where he was as he continues to speak.
Konrad Raab: "But that's not the only mistake you're making with this match, you both have clearly gone over your heads a bit regarding the ladder match, haven't you? Do you realise the size of how you guys are makes you be in a complete disadvantage in this match? I can't believe I'm honestly saying that, considering majority of the wrestlers I face are smaller than me and I may have lost a bit of weight, but you've clearly not given this any thought other than what Samuel said on climbing our way to the top of the tag division.
What he meant to say is we worked our butts off to get where we are to being the top tag team in GZWA and it feels good to be a champion where we've earned our spots by fighting through every tag team including yourselves to get where we are. It's down to progress, something I know you Enforcers don't have, especially you've been spending a lot of time, dealing and causing crap on Carnage who I respect by the way, much more than you guys. At least he's not a coward to fight you both on his own and do attacks from behind."
Although there's a lot more to this discussion, including the part he was meant to give G-Money Briggs and Dequan Wallace credit for their performance in the ring which was pretty tough this time around, but instead of continuing to talk, he felt a little tense again as he does six more jumps from the diving board as after he jumped for the sixth time, he swims in the ice pool towards the cameraman and passes the microphone to Konrad as he speaks.
Konrad Raab: "Now this is fun to be jumping into an ice pool to relax and having a bit of fun. Of course I haven't forgotten to give out credit to G-Money Briggs and Dequan Wallace as they do deserve a rematch for mine and Samuel's tag titles and it wasn't easy when they defeated Casey Cortez and Laura Jackson for the tag titles since they were tag champions for quite sometime in GZWA. It's pretty impressive to say the least. I do however find you guys to put yourselves in a disadvantage move, having less likely chance to win compared to me and Samuel very bold and gutsy move."
It was so hard as it was the only credit he could give them just something short and sweet, but he knew he wasn't to be blamed, especially the association Briggs and Dequan had with Xion and Konrad shakes his head as he gets out of the ice pool, feeling all cold and shivering, something he quite enjoyed as he was known as The Iceman after all, the part of him he doesn't do enough as he does two more jumps before going to the highest diving board there is as he continues to speak.
Konrad Raab: "All that credit ends because other than what I've said, I don't respect anything else about you guys, especially you like to help Xion Zeros to do some favours for him. It's pretty sad to be honest as I've never ever worked with an owner to get what I want or need to do them a favour, other than accepting matches like this, but Samuel and I because of our smaller size, we'll overcome the bigger guys and capture those titles from the ladder and still be the tag team champions with pride and honour.
Lets see how long you both last without getting some outside interference from Casey, Gabriel and Zeros to help you win because you know you have no chance at all of beating The Honourable Princes cos it will take a lot to defeat us, especially in a match you've given us an advantage in, more in Samuel's case where he'll have no problems with his balance in this type of match and the fact you've exposed my strength in this match on being angry in a not such a good way as people fear me with my anger, even my brother who's the angriest man I've met fears me with it, but it's the frost bite I have that will prevail you both and we'd be glad to do so because you'll prepare yourselves to lose to The Honourable Princes."
Konrad does a whooo before he does a massive senton splash right into the ice pool jumping from almost fifteen feet in the pool and it takes him a while for him to swim back to the stairs as he does so and leaves the pool area to get himself changed into his regular clothes before he goes back to the hotel room to do a bit of filming for New Japan Fighting Championships for the press conference from the hotel room before he chats to his wife before going off to sleep an hour later.
