“It has been a long time since I was challenged again for this right here.”
Vi rose her Queen of Queens Championship high up, staring at its monochromatic plating. She gave it a long look before lowering it back down on her shoulder.
“It has also been a long time since one woman and her legion decided that they were going to try to strike me down. As such, they made this more than a fight. Radek, you made this a war. You might not know my meaning of the word. Since the people in this company tend to try to warp the perceptions of everything to fit their agenda, I should take the time to give you my definition of ‘war’.”
“My definition of war is not the standard, go-to-line by some plucky person, trying to sound tough. My definition is akin to the actual concept of war. I’m talking about bloodshed, destruction, pain, misery, and death. I’m talking Agent Orange dropping on Vietnam. I’m talking about nukes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I’m talking marches through the arctic, tearing apart everyone and everything that dares look you in the eye and try to snuff your life out. That’s what you and your comrades got yourselves into when you attacked me.”
“You just got into a land war with a angry, Russian monster, and you’re not going to win.”
“If you need numbers to do anything in wrestling or fighting, then you’ve made a mistake getting into this business. If you’ve thinking that your numbers will make a difference in this match, then you’ve made a bigger mistake. Most of all, your friends made the worst mistake getting involved in what this is going to be. Because the slaughter was only reserved for you; you ran your mouth, so it had to happen. When the Beautification Movement decided to try to impede on my destiny, then they sealed their fate.”
“Fine, I’m one woman, but I can tell you this.”
“Vi Malkov by herself can destroy the entire Beautification Movement.”
“Bring them all.”
“Bring them ALL.”
“Every single one of them will get a taste of what Vi Malkov can do. If anyone thought my matches were severe before, you haven’t seen anything. My match with Didgitz? That happened because she insulted me. This is when someone actively decides to take physical harm against me outside of the ring.”
“So, Milana, what will happen when I do destroy your Movement, person by person, bit by bit?”
“What will you do when I turn my hateful eyes upon you?”
“What will you do when I take your pretty head into my hands and beat it until I hit bone?”
“Nothing,” Vi stated at a calm, raspy whisper, “absolutely. Nothing.”
“Because Milana, you’re a woman at the head of an army, but that means you’re not able to defend yourself when it comes time for the enemy to bust in your doors. You throw body after body, hoping that it’ll satisfy the bloodthirsty beast making their way into your throne room. But what happens to you when that beast decides that they want your head.”
“Milana Radek, your head is mine. I’m putting it on a damn pike for every other bastardized group to see. If anyone and their army wants to come at me, they had better be ready with a plan. Attacking me was a good start, but you made the worst mistake you could with that too. It wasn’t just attacking me. Anyone might think of that on a day-by-day basis.”
“It’s that you didn’t take me out for good.”
“Was it your ego that caused that? Was it desperation? What was it that made you take that route and not break my spine or give some other career ending injury? I’d like to think it’s because you want this to happen or something. Maybe you’ve come to a conclusion that you need to leave this world and you wanted me to do this for you.”
“You could have just asked.”
“Nevertheless, I keep having to make these examples out of people like you.”
“A woman on her last legs trying to make her last match something special.”
“A former force of dominance thinking she can come back on my merit.”
“And now...an idiot that thinks she’s the centerpiece of beauty.”
“I’m going to destroy that all. There’s nothing beautiful about war. People die in horrible ways. Families are torn asunder with bloodshed following it all. Beautiful things, like monuments come crashing down. There’s only waste at the end of war.”
“Thus I ask the always relevant question, but yet I have an answer.”
“War, what is it good for?”
Vi paused, pondering on it.
“It’s good for getting rid of weak bitches like you.”
