It’s still pretty early in the morning, Casey had just finished her training. It’s already really hot here in Las Vegas, where she lives, and so she is glad that she did the daily running so early, before it becomes unbearable in the desert. Most people don’t like the desert, but Casey does. She is used to it and it’s a great place to be alone, especially when the hectic chaos of living in the big city and the stress in her job becomes too much for her. Now she sits in her off-road jeep and is ready to drive back home. The thought of a shower and a nice vegan lunch brings a smile in her face. Well, this will really become a great day. For the rest of the day she doesn’t has planed much - just a walk with her dog then maybe the gym in the afternoon and then some relaxing.
Her next match isn’t really important. It isn’t for a title, but she still doesn’t take it easy. She is a very ambitious young woman. She wants to continue proving that she is strong and tough, so losing isn’t an option for her. And there’s something more. This match is against her former tag team partner Laura, and even though they have been friends for years, Laura has said some not so nice things about her and this hurts Casey. Casey isn’t very emotional and social, and so, besides Laura, she never had any friends and so she sees her offense as betrayal.
After her running she has really been so relaxed, but now all her anger comes back and she punches on the steering wheel.
“Dammit, Laura, now you’re gonna pay.”
She starts the engine of her jeep and drives off with a huge burnout. She’s on the highway and she’s driving much too fast, but that doesn’t relax her, like it normally does. She leaves the highway and stops for a moment parked off the road. With a smile in her face, she switches on the four wheel drive and the differential lock and then she starts speeding through the desert. She is going really fast as she bumps up and down in her car with excitement as the car travels over the humps and hurdles of the terrain. This off-road driving isn’t really dangerous, but she could still hit something and wind up in a pretty nasty accident. This time she doesn’t care, even though an injury would be really bad right now. After two hours of off-road driving, Casey is really exhausted. Her back hurts and she has a sunburn, but she’s in a really good mood. She drives back to the highway and then home. As she climbs out of her car and sees how dirty it is, she sighs.
“Damn, later I’ll have to clean up this mess.”
She opens the door of her house and as she looks into the mirror, she began to laugh. She is even more dirty than her car. Before entering the living room, she puts off all her clothes and throws them into the washing machine, then she goes to the bathroom and takes a really long shower. She takes a towel and wraps it around her body. Then she eats some fruits and sits down on her couch, her legs resting on the table. Now she feels better. For a moment she thinks of lighting a cigarette, but she has stopped smoking years ago and so she only looks at the package and sighs. Damn, sometimes this healthy lifestyle can be stressing too.
It’s great to be fit and in a good shape and as she looks at her extremely muscular arms she smiles. Oh yes and it is also necessary for her job. She doesn’t wish to only face women in the ring, but also men and so she needs this strength. Not to mention, she also loves the way how it looks, even though some haters tell her that she looks like a guy or ask her whether she has a penis. Years ago this has hurt her really bad, but now she doesn’t care anymore. She has become cold and vicious and the only thing she loves is her dog. This same dog she treats like a baby and he’s even allowed to sleep in her bed. But it’s other human beings she doesn’t like and this she shows them by force, at least in the ring. This week she will show it her former friend Laura Jackson. Her typical cold and mean smile comes into her face and she clenches her fist.
“Okay Laura, it seems that you have ran into some bad luck now. The last weeks it went pretty good for you, you survived the match against me and then you could take the win against this person, Brooklyn has taken under her wing as of late along with scaring off Brooklyn herself, but what does that mean? Nothing, she’s no real wrestler, just the bitch of our boss and everybody can win against her …at least if she isn’t pregnant. Haha, that seems to be her main business, but anyway, this isn’t my problem. But you Laura, you are my problem now, or rather I am your problem. And this is the biggest problem you ever had in your fucking life.”
The tall blond stands up and gets something to drink from her fridge, then she goes back to the living room. Before she sits down, she switches on her stereo and chooses some music from Agnostic Front. This makes her even more aggressive.
“You play the tough act with all your ugly tattoos, your bad behavior and you trash talking, but deep down inside I know that you’re nothing but another weak little girl. You try so desperately to hide the fact that everything scares you to death.”
Now Casey is feeling at the top of her game again, aggressive and violent like usually.
“Maybe you can fool the fans or the other wrestlers, but not me. I know exactly what you are, a little girl crying for attention, but this time you have pissed off the wrong person. We have been friends and I would have left you alone, but you had to come back and talk all that crap about me. But even after this, I could have forgiven you someday but no, you had to keep running your mouth. You aren’t not important and you should slowly learn that I’m not one to trifle with. You aren’t worth my time.
So you could just have stayed away from me and everything would have been just fine, but you had to come back and now you will be in the ring with me - your worst nightmare - and I promise you that this is a nightmare that you won’t simply open your eyes and all of your horrors will fade away.
I will not only defeat you, I will break you mentally and physically, I will destroy you and when I’m done with you, you will wish that you were dead.”
Casey has come so much in rage, that she has clenched her fist around the glass and smashed it. Now she feels a slight pain in her hand and as she looks at it, she sees the blood drop on the floor. She stands up and takes a towel and wraps it around her hand.
“Fuck Laura, this was your fault. Just another thing I will take pleasure taking out on you in the ring...”
With her hand that wasn’t bleeding, she tries to clean up the mess and eventually she has success, but her good mood is gone completely. She throws away the towel and now she bandages her hand. Then she sees the pack of cigarettes again and takes one. For a moment she hesitates - she didn’t want to take up a negative habit that she associated with her disgusting step-sister Amanda, but then she lights it and inhales deeply, but it’s not as good as she thought and she only has to cough, so she throws it away again.
“Disgusting… just like that trash.”
Casey sat back down again and tries not to think at Laura. Instead, she found some not so nice thoughts come into her mind. As a young girl at school she always has been an outsider. She was tall and a bit shy and most of her classmates has laughed at her and even bullied her, but when she took an interest in sports and weightlifting, that changed everything. She gained a killer body, was really strong to boot, and even though she still was shy, she began to terrorize the others, especially her stepsister Amanda. Amanda also has been different than the others, but she was small and petite and in some way cute and so almost everybody loved her. She never got beaten up nor treated like everyone else treated her and this drove Casey wild. Her fucking stepsister could do whatever she wants and nobody was ever really mad at her. But thank God these times are over. Now the always overlooked Casey is the dominant force to be reckoned with while Amanda is seen as the bumbling idiot that she deserves for her careless demeanor.
This should make her happy now, but it doesn’t. She has success and her opponents fear her, but there is still something missing in her life. Everybody has someone whom they love, but she is still alone and this makes her sad. But this is probably the price for being one of the most feared wrestlers in this business and she is willing to pay this price, even though she knows that she will regret this decision one day. But if she could turn back the time, she would have made the same decisions. And there’s one thing more, now it’s too late to change anything. It has been her plan to become the heavyweight champion one day and now there is nothing that can stop her again. Like a machine that is switched on and runs forward, destroying everything that comes into her way. She likes that though and smiles again.
“Let’s face facts here, I’m unstoppable. I even defeated the so-called hardcore monster Carnage last week.”
She laughs out loud.
“Okay, maybe it wasn’t a really fair match, but who cares? A win is a win. But this time I don’t need any help, like that I needed any to finish the job against Carnage. I had that match won on my own. I could have beat him myself. I didn’t ask the Enforcers to stick their noses in my business anyway. I will break Laura personally - just as easily as I shattered that glass a few moments ago.”
She takes an old photo of Laura on her phone and shakes her head.
“Just look at you. You look pretty and tough, but against me you are nothing. You’re just a slut like all these other chicks here in this company and you’re nothing compared to the woman who will be the next World Champion. Maybe you see this differently, but you will learn what it means to cross me. It’s something you won’t ever forget. You will not only lose this match, this day will be the end of your career - the last time that you ride off the coat tails from my success when we held the tag team titles together and reigned supreme as the winners of the last Stardom Tag Team Classic. After I’m done with you, that will be the end of whatever we used to call a friendship. All that will be left of you will be a desperate broken cripple.”
It’s not that Casey is really sadistic, but she is vicious and the only feelings she has is being angry and violent. And there’s something more, she also feels no remorse, whatever she does. She doesn’t care whether she injures or cripples someone as long as it brings her what she want, success. And deep insides she even likes it. The screams of pain, the sound of a breaking bone or when a shoulder gets dislocated. It might be sick and some people call her a monster, but she doesn’t care. It was years ago that she has cared or even had a shred of compassion - those feelings got her nowhere. The time for mercy was over. Most of her feelings have been numbed thanks to her past experiences. What may have remained, she has simply switched them off within herself and now a vicious, brutal and unstoppable fighting machine is left to accomplish her goals. Her nickname of the Queen of Submission fits pretty good to her, or maybe the queen of destruction would be even more appropriate, but about such things Casey doesn’t dwell too much thought about. Now she looks down at her hand and the bleeding has stopped. She smirks as she makes a fist, then the scene fades to black.
